Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted September 16, 20168 yr One of my sites has the ability to edit the bio of the team page/directory, however another doesn't. Does anyone know how you enable this? Inside the team page/directory, there is a button 'edit your information' - for some reason this doesn't show for one of my sites, not even in the default skin. I assumed I made need to add myself as to it (rather than my group) however this didn't do the trick.

September 23, 20168 yr Groups in the Staff panel are not able to edit their details, individuals are. So it depends on how they are added to the list.

You need to add yourself to one of the groups for the staff directory as a member. If the button still doesn't show up, then make sure you're actually adding the correct user and is logged in with the same user on the frontend. And if you feel you've done everything correctly then and it still doesn't show, then I don't know and it would probably be best to submit a ticket. (Granted, I did discover a bug in that clicking the button (at least in Chrome) gives no response)
