Anyone know how to remove or disable this annoying banner, that all admins see every time they login, from the top of my forum? I understand getting a reminder in the acp area for these but having them show up on the actual site/forum is just an unnecessary annoyance. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, If I start a new thread it opens with two Vimeo videos in the editor. And I cant delete them. When logging in with another user the same thing happens when I open the editor. Is this a known bug? I have not upgraded to the version that came yesterday because I cant deal with any new bugs that might come with it. The problem is a mobile problem. Android. Best, Stig

So I converted to IPB from SMF (using MyBB as the middleman), and I did so on my Localhost which all worked well. Once everything was set and ready to go I uploaded to the Webserver and set everything in the config file accordingly. However since it was uploaded I noticed certain images are now missing. Thanks for any help in advance

I'm trying to install IPB on my site which is only avalible via https. I use Nginx so redirects are set up on the http version so my site isn't avalible to be viewed, I'm running into issues with installtalling IPB, when doing the install I can't get past the bit where you enter the licence key, it seems that the form is trying to be loaded from http What am I doing wrong?

So if you go to the website & see the main article at the top titled: MJBizDaily.com Crash Course Recap https://www.ohiocannabis.com/ I created this "Featured Blog" manually with a WYSIWYG - there didn't seem to be any way to do exactly what I wanted any other way. But the image needs some padding on the left & the title text almost seems as if it needs spaced out between the 1st & 2nd rows of it. Anyone know exactly what I can edit in CSS so that it fixes these issues? Thanks.

Hello, How would an individual go about removing the ability to search an application from both the quick search and advanced search? I don't think I've missed a setting anywhere and I assume there's going to be a few files that need edited. I need to do this on a third party app (iAwards), but I think this isn't really an application specific question, hence posting here rather than support for the specific app...It may be useful to know how to do it for any application. If this is something application specific, I can post there instead, even though the developer doesn't seem too active at the moment. Thanks! -Cris

Hi All, I have set a job from the administration panel to move a whole group of 700 member's into a new group. The move is still going and has taken 3 days so far. Now i know the text does say it will take a very long time, but is this normal? Can i quicken this up? If so could someone let me know how i can achieve that. Hi, I am navigating to my articles database following the upgrade to IPB 4 .. but the templates seem totally off. When I go to templates, I can see templates available (2 column, 3 column etc), but when I go to the database and try to select any of those templates .. Only default template names are available such as "Category Listing" "Display" "Form" etc... What am I doing wrong? Does IPB4 not ship with a decent template right out of the box? Surprised. Thanks

I recently upgraded my site to IPS4. I've had issues, but ended up completely deleting my old site and re-installing IPS4 and updated my database. After working on the site and getting everything where I want it, test post but nothing happens. Hitting Submit posts but nothing happens. If the user refreshes the page their post is there, but if they hit Submit again it double posts or posts however many times they hit Submit. I've gone through and disabled any and all plugins, still same behavior. I eventually started disabling applications one at a time and testing. I've narrowed my issues down to the Pages application. Hello, I'm testing IP.Nexus now and I'm little bit confused about how custom fields work. I'd like to set some fields in my ACP, but I don't want customers to be able to modify them, i.e. I have products with different langauges or release dates, so customers should be aware of such informations, but not able to change them. Is this possible with default IP.Nexus? If not, is there an app or a plugin for this?

Is there a way to allow people to look at the store but in order for them buy are place anything into the shopping cart they will have to sign in first? I find out that people are now liking signing up for an account at the end of the check out progress as easy as it is to do tho.

There are no links to any member profiles by clicking on their name or profile picture. On my other forum, it works. It is like something got turned off on the forums. No pop up box for member details because no link is active (their name is not an active link to go there). Is this feature turned off on the one forum? Where would that be if so? One of my mods also stated that if they send a PM it shows up in their status updates which is goofy. Is this a bug or feature and how do I turn it off? Thank you!

Got all the files copied up to my server, but now when I run the upgrader, I get the following error. Sometime recently either Google started storing our pages differently, or the software started handling degenerate or old-style URLs differently. I am getting links out of Google in the form: https://forums.egullet.org/index.php/topic/142948-people-who-just-cant-get-a-meal-ready-on-time/?&hl= late Notice the index.php and the weird query string at the end. I don't understand how to write an .htaccess rule to correct these to the modern canonical form (e.g. to strip out the index.php part, and to convert that hl into the correct form for a highlight.) Can anyone help out with this?

Hi all, we're about to pull the switch (a bit late) on upgrading to version 4.1.14.2 of the forum software, and (amongst other things) I'm so pleased that we're finally getting Justified text, rather than the old left, right or centre of 3.x.x, which leaves a jagged edge down one side that always looked messy and unprofessional to my eyes. What I'd like to do is set up the posting window so that it defaults to justified text, rather than have reviewers (and the members) having to click the button every time, which is easy enough to forget to do. Hello, we're in the process of testing a migration form phpBB 3.x. Everything's looking smooth so far, and we've been quite impressed with how robust the conversion process is. The only thing we're baffled by is how we can easily migrate our Geshi code over. I'm looking for some general advice on the best way to proceed. Hello, as you can see here, my blog title is cut off because the name of it is too long to fit into that particular header. https://www.ohiocannabis.com/forums/blogs/ What is the easiest way to fix this? I would prefer to not have to edit the name as this puts restrictions on what people can call their blog. Should I just make the column wider? Or could I have the text go to the next line instead of adding the ... and being unreadable? Is there a way to adjust this within the dashboard or do I need to add some custom CSS? If so, anyone know what div/class specifically to add to the CSS to make only that blog header widen? Thank you.

On 6 I was using mySQL but on 7 everyone seems to recommend MariaDB which I installed. When trying to import my forum DB, I get the following error: ERROR 1214 (HY000) at line 1287: The used table type doesn't support FULLTEXT indexes What am I doing wrong?

In one of my Gallery categories I've set the default sorting order to 'Title', however upon viewing the category the images are not being sorted by title, but instead I think they're being sorted by the image name part of the image url. Is this a bug or is that how it is supposed to work? When in the category view, if I sort by title it sorts them correctly... Also, is there no option to choose ascending or descending for the default sorting order?

After a recent attack on my site last night, I've switched over to SSL. The issue I'm having is some, not all, of my images are broken and not found. When I go into the directory and perform a search, the images are there but with a bunch of different numbers that I guess get added after upload. The differ though from the numbers in the url that the page is looking for. I've run support to clear cache but this hasn't seemed to have helped. Can someone suggest something?
