Hi All,

I have set a job from the administration panel to move a whole group of 700 member's into a new group. The move is still going and has taken 3 days so far. Now i know the text does say it will take a very long time, but is this normal? Can i quicken this up? If so could someone let me know how i can achieve that.

Please ask for any info you may need to assist.

These tasks are triggered by traffic on your site, if you don't have much traffic, click the run now link, and let it run in the browser.

Hard to guess, as it would depend on your hosting resources available, a best guess, it should completed in less than an hour.

You could also run the background task manually as stated in the description.

Thanks @Daniel F and @Rhett, running it now by clicking on the run it manually in the text. It now says processing members. Lets see how that goes.

The image quite clearly says 11455140.19% and with no progress bar. There is obviously something going wrong and stuck in a loop here. 

Could you check your system logs located under Support -> Support in your Admin CP and report back any errors that seem related to this? Just remove any file paths (up until the point of your root IPS folder) or other revealing information like IP address from it if you're not comfortable with others seeing that. 

Hi @Rhett and @Daniel F, the move is still going today. Is this normal? I left the window open saying processing MoveMembers and its still going just under 24h later.

Is there any way to get a process update on the move? Log file or something like that?

Thanks @TPS, just took a screenshot, nothing really suggesting an error with the move members.

There are no error logs either.
