I'm looking for something, even a paid plugin is good - I just haven't found what I'm looking for. I'd like to be able to add someone to a secondary group for special access for a pre-determined period (30 days, a year or whatever I want). Is there such a way and/or plugin to do that? Willing to pay to develop if someone can do it.

I must be missing something, but on my forum, when viewing posts and you see the user name next to it - where it says "Location" there's no space or colon or anything after it, it just runs into whatever they put for their location. Never mind! I found where I could edit the field name!

Got a weird problem If I add php/html into globalTemplate or create a block and add same code into it and then reference the block in globalTemplate then the code works and shows 100% using either option However, if I enter the same code into a new template and reference the template in globalTemplate then get error 'Something went wrong' (code EX0 and message UnexpectedValueException: (0) ) So can anyone explain why code works if using block or adding directly into globalTemplate but not if adding into new template ? Meant to add if I revert the globalTemplate so it is as per default (so there is no reference to new template) and remove the new templ…

Hi, I've recently upgraded from 3.4.5 to 4.2.7. I have thousands of subforums and while it has been less of a problem than what I imagined to deal with them for 4.2.7 in terms of loading the forum index, etc. I've just run into a tricky one using the ACP. My forum has a deep structure with few subforums at the top levels, and most of them in the deepest ones. Tonight I created a new subforum as a child of one the biggest ones, and when I went to reorder it, I got a nasty message: "Request-URI Too Long The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server." Hi, over the last week we have had a high number of spam accounts getting through the defences. I'm running CAPTCHA2 and have spam def on. it seems to come in bouts. nothing for ages, then 3-4 new accounts each day for the last few weeks. I've just updated all my security questions (hobby topic related, so you need to know the topic to pass the quiz) but that seems no barrier. any more suggestions? http://tga.community

Hello, I have found numerous topics about this two items, but no answer to the correct size of the image. Is there a set px size that would make the perfect size or are these a "fluid" box and things will fit better depending on the theme and screen size? Obviously, I know any image technically works, but is there a "perfect" size. Thank-you

I have new ipb forum files and my old forum files are infected. I simply need to copy over the old forum design (the forums theme which should work if the images are copied over idfk what image folder though) I have an old database file, and I need an admin account created in my database manually the skid hacker deleted all my admins. My skype: unrivaled_gods WILL BE DOING SRVICE IN TEAMVIEWER, I DO NOT TRUST OTHERWISE. If this is wrong section forum moderator please show me correct.

I’m setting up a Commerce store to sell software licenses, which come with product-specific EULAs, which might change over time. Therefore I would like to save a version number with the purchase, so every order gets something like an “EULA Version 1.5” tag, and when the EULA changes future orders (and only those!) will all get “1.6” and so on. The custom fields come to mind to do this, but they are for selections/input from the user, not admin-defined information. Is there a stock option to this? Almost two weeks ago I asked how i could re assign the group a new member of the forums is assigned to. As they are currently assigned to the "Member" group when they should be assigned to the "Applicant" group. We have a few days until we're expecting a large amount of new sign ups and I would like them to be placed into the correct group ie. "Applicant" automatically when they sign up, because at the moment i have to manually go through the list of new sign ups and change their group from "member" to "applicant" (VERY TEDIOUS!) Please help!!

I have my calendar on a rss scroller feed and I am having problems with all date events and one-day past events showing on calendar. Image below shows an 8pm start for an all day event the next day. The time zone are both correct for the calendar and the RSS feed from Feedwind.com I'm not sure if it is the RSS Feed or from the calendar itself. Is anyone else having problems with the caledar rss?? Thanks for any help or tips...

Hi all, My members have been after a "random thread generator" for some time, we lost it when we changed from VB to IP. Would this be a perticualrly difficult thing to acheive? Essentially it would just look at all the forums, and display a random thread at set time intervals.

I was looking for an option to use Google's Invisible Recaptcha in 4.2, but apparently this is not possible (yet)? At least I haven't found such an option in the AdminCP. Can the Invisible Recaptcha already be used in 4.2, or am I correct that I have to wait until 4.3 is out?

Menu behavior "Create -> Topic -> Select Forum" Many topics are created in the wrong sub-forum because of the way this menu works. The menu does not close if the user selects a main forum. In this case, the user needs to select Notebooks and then click the area in blue below. If the user selects a sub-forum, the menu closes and he understands that he is in the correct area. Is there any way to change how this menu works? Maybe tweaking the theme or creating a plug-in.

Hi, I just setup CloudFront in front of my EC2 instance to help with performance, but I noticed the devices for every user are now set to Amazon, instead of their browser information. I assume its because I am not passing certain headers to my origin. Is anyone aware of what headers i need to pass? Am i right in assuming its a header issue?
