Has anyone else noticed the huge decline in visitors and members on there forums over the last couple of year. Page hits and ad impressions have dropped dramatically . Theres now a 1/3rd of the visitors who use to use the forum now active, adsense revenue is now a 1/3rd of what it used to be... Is there an answer to sort this, its purely down to Facebook groups... My forum is 14 year old and I'm considering options..

I can't seem to be able to download my member list, no matter what parameters I enter. I don't want to enter special parameters for the member list, I want to download the entire list. So when I leave everything as is and continue on, I get a blank list download. So then I try entering 01/01/2000 to 03/24/2018 as the join date parameters.but then when I hit continue it just refreshes back to the first page where I started or gives me a progress bar and then refreshes back to the first page where I started and nothing happens.Is this a bug or is this a problem with mine i need support on?

I am working on a Marketplace in Pages and would like to have the following to make it easy to contact the person who posted the record/marketplace ad. Email: when creaitng a fiedl, you can set the data type to email. But that displays the email address in plain text on the page. And this may be a magnet for spam bots. I would like to have a button the visitor can click so their email client opens up with a new emails where the email address and subject field is automatically filled in. I just noticed that after clicking "Edit" button if the post contains some text inside code box that text can't be edited. Why is that? I found a way around it by using "Source" button but why I can't edit code text normally?

So I did a local test, kinda did a preconversion of my old board before migrating everything to my webhost, same urls with the execption of apache locally, I use nginx, imported my database, kept forum structures however now I'm basically getting no theme displayed. Anyone mind lending a hand with this? forum is located at http://vba-m.com/forums if you want to see the damage.

I am trying to setup the PayPal Withdrawal Method in Account Credit Settings but the URL on that page for "Request API Credentials" is sending me to a PayPal page that does not provide me with any option of allowing IPS to produce the credentials it is looking for. My PayPal account is setup for Payouts so that is not the issue. Anybody know where in PayPal I can get the API username pass and signature this is looking for?

....Default Avatars appear when sharing a Topic to Facebook. I have a private Facebook Group only used as a supplement to my main IPS Board. Only Members of the Board are Members and activity is modest by design. Occasionally I will Share an interesting Topic from the Board to that FB Group. It seems that the link always has a default Member Avatar as part of the linked Topic; The square colored block with a letter Avatar. Other times there is no Avatar at all in that Link. Many Members that participated in a particular Shared Topic have loaded personal Avatars, which would look more attractive and in context in that FB Topic link. It doesn't seem to matter if …

Hi there, I'm having trouble setting up PayPal and would love some help if anyone has any suggestions. I am offering a recurring subscription and am happy to have this occur either via a BIlling Agreement or Direct Card payment. I have checked my Paypal developer account and my LIVE app is eligible and active for recurring payments. PayPal is added as an option in IPS AdminCP and my API LIVE credentials are entered successfully. For some reason, the payment option for PayPal does not appear on the checkout. I have tried different option combinations in the PayPal payment page in IPS. No luck. Any help is appreciated, if possible.

Greetings! I want members to be able to buy a product, let's say product X, in commerce, and after buying, they get access to view a specific page or post that they only access if they purchased that product. I know I can create this by making individual groups, but we plan to have a lot of products along the way, and making a special group for each one is going to be tedious of there are hundreds of products. Does anyone have an easy way to simply give a user access to a page or post vs group specific permission to make this easier after buying?

We have always had paid subscribers to our site to assist with our finances. There hasn't been any advantage to subscribing, we've always relied on members just doing the right thing. I would like to give subscribers more and wondered what other sites give subscribers as incentives? I know I can restrict parts of the site to "paid only", but I'm nervous because those who haven't paid anything HAVE submitted content for these areas and it seems a little unfair to now exclude them from the content they helped create. Dear, I can't find any help article about this. Hope somone can help me out. A long time ago i started Duken.nl with Joomla en SMF forum. Later i upgraded joomla to Wordpress and SMF to IPB. At the moment i have a wordpress installation on Duken.nl in the root and a IPB installation in /forums I redirected the frontpage of duken.nl to https://www.duken.nl/forums/home/ (ipb pages) I want to remove Wordpress on the root and move IPB from /forums to the root. Hi, I just want to add a canonical meta tag to the club pages because this part doesn't have one yet. I already got the condition to filter those pages in globalTemplate: $location['app'] == 'core' and $location['module'] == 'clubs' and $location['controller'] == 'view' ... but I didn't find the right param to get the current page url or canonical (if available). Could somebody please give me a hint? Thanks

Hi, I installed a news ticker plugin I got from the marketplace. Something went wrong during install and now my website is running extremely slowly and even timing out in some cases. I fear it's some sort of script problem but I have no idea how to fix it. The website is running so slow I couldn't even get to the admin CP until I uploaded a blank index.php temporarily. I tried disabling the plugin and then I tried uninstalling the plugin -- no luck. I tried uploading an original theme (I suspected it was a theme issue) and setting is as default, still the problem persists. I've also tried going to System -> Support and disabling all plugins. I just tried upgrading to 4.3 beta via the ACP installer and no issues while it ran. However upon receiving the completion message I returned to my forums to see the site entirely down. Called webhost and they turned on page-side error view which showed the following PHP error: They suggested I restore the backup I took from prior to the upgrade. Has anyone else had this issue while trying to upgrade to 4.3 beta?

Hello fellow Invisioncommunity members. I'm an old, impatient, busy man. I run 50 websites on 5 servers and decided to move an old SMF forum here. I swear I think if I could get 20 minutes at one stretch with a competent tech, my issues would be over. Unfortunately, the ticket system here doesn't seem to agree with me. After 3 frustrating days, my forum is moved and everything is visible. The last unsolved issue is critical, all my forum members are listed as "Guest (Old Member name)" by their posts. Hi folks, we have a copy of our forums as development/testing environment, where we make changes before going prime. How can I make sure that his testing board doesn't send E-Mails to my members, i.e. weekly digests etc.? At the moment we disable tasks all together, which isn't really good. Thank you, Thomas
