This technical stuff is above my head. Could someone tell me what I need to do to fix this? This is the error I receive when trying to log in using FB Further, I used to be able to share a post to Facebook, but can no longer. Does anyone know why? Are these issues one in the same? For that matter, it appears Twitter login doesn't work, either.

Following a migration of the site, everything went well (well transferred database, change urls for uploads and datastore files, the chmods are correct) but here is impossible to connect. For login the popup window opens well but then it points to the file / login or when I try to register, it points to the registered file, but since there is not it put me an error page 404. I do not know where the problem came from, if a charitable soul could enlighten me, I thank you for it. I want to point out that I can connect to the admin panel. http://last-warriors.fr IPB v 4.4.2

Today I accidentally deleted around 3,000 threads in a forum and was hoping someone could advise how I can get them back by using a backup I did previously. Basically I need to somehow import the threads, posts and attachments from one forum in my backup (done yesterday) to my live site. Any advice...thanks

Hi there! I'm looking for some advice on how to most smoothly update my custom profile fields. Right now, we have a bunch of 'badges' members have on their side panels next to posts to show other members information (we are a Harry Potter RPG). We have a LOT of badges, and have a couple different fields (ie, Hogwarts House) to keep things organized. Our field type is 'select box' (the drop down box) and we would like it to show a different image for each selection (ie, we choose Hufflepuff, they should have a Hufflepuff badge in that area). We uploaded the images to our skin as a resource as a place to store them (because it saves the file name instead of randomizin…

Am moving my community to a cloud server with a LAMP setup After some back and forth with support, they recommended a recursive application of 755 and 644 to all folders and files respectively, however when trying to upgrade an already installed application got an error indicating a specific file should be 777 instead of 644 in order to make the necessary changes They recommended a recursive CHMOD 777 on /applications and /plugins but even with this applied I am unable to install or upgrade any Applications due to permission issues Has anyone had an issue like this?

I have guests able to post with admin approval. Since the update, there is a broken image when guests post and also when they write on their form. The image address is 84c1e40ea0e759e3f1505eb1788ddf3c_default_photo.png I tried to upload an image with that name and that didn't see teem to work. Any help is much appreciated

Wondering about Profile Tabs count How many profile tabs can be shown on profile page before either cut off, doesnt show anymore, or possible errors? or possible start of new row I ask this cause it seems that a lot of major third party apps have the tab in it to display on profiles, and we plan on asking for custom mods to be for tabs on apps don't have this IMO - I like this, and think it's great, and hoping that it will start a new row of tabs? this helps to not clutter the menu screenshot of why i ask this.....thinking that i am missing a tab or two (2 files call for a tab in profile and i don't see them)

Some members are getting a -200 error when uploading files. I experienced it myself too when I was away from home with slower internet for a few days. I'm guessing its timing out because its taking too long to upload? Any ideas how I can fix this please

Hive mind ... When email notifications are sent out to our members, the font varies between 'Ariel' and 'Times New Roman,' depending on the notification type. For example, digests are generally sent using 'Ariel,' but a private message notification might go out as 'Times New Roman.' Is there a way to set the font for all automatically generated email notifications? Ideally, I would sent everything to Ariel as that matches our organizations branding guidelines. Thank you for any insights you may have!

I checked my app settings and it seems like it auto deleted my existing app. Now twitter wants me to apply for a new one with all these more more difficult requirements. I really don't like this one bit. It's making it impossible to promote to twitter.

I can see they are passed as a url encoded string, like follows: data:image/svg xml,<svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 1024 1024" style="background:#a462c4"><g><text text-anchor="middle" dy=".35em" x="512" y="512" fill="#ffffff" font-size="700" font-family="-apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">M</text></g></svg> But I don't see this directly called out in the member data base table. Just if a member has a custom photo. Any ideas on how to query the database and construct these svg type profile (letter) photos? Thanks!!

During a previous version of IPB, I think it was during the 3.x series versions, I was able to exclude certain forums from visitors and guests. It was a way to draw more interest in visitors to register having member's only forums. I've tried looking under "Search" and "Search Engine Optimization" and I've even tried looking under the forums themselves but I've been able to find anything to exclude certain forums from the search results. I'm hoping that someone here has a solution to this or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places in ACP.

I was wondering how to create a different colour set depending on what group someone is in. So say member group 3, the user photo has a border that's blue but people in group 5 have a border of red, etc. Would this require a script or can I edit the html and css to do this?
