In the last week or so I have been getting dozens of New users accounts that appear to be spambots. I have setup reCAPTCHA 2 and it appears they bounce right through it. Appears to be multiple machines infected because these accounts are coming from different email addresses and different IP addresses. About 8 out of 10 are actually getting validated. Is there a way to stop this?

I've always thought this was weird about IPB but you can access the registration page while logged in? Shouldnt it check to see if your already logged in and restrict access?

Hi, Although I agree adding the nofollow attribute to every link in a community, I was wondering if it's possible to stop adding the nofollow to some messages, for instance, the Pages or Articles system. How could I perform this? Thanks!

A few hours ago, after a "Something isn't working correctly" on my site, I received the following message. "Connections to external websites are not working. This can cause problems with third party services. You should contact your hosting provider to ask for this problem to be resolved. 1565601474" After a few minutes I repeated the "Something isn't working correctly". The result is the same. Following a recommendation I contacted my host company. This issue was repeated several times. After 15 minutes, there was no issue. At the same time, the site functions normally without issues. From my host they contacted me in half an hour, ie. when everything works…

Hi everyone, When I try to do anything that requires a post request with the request body containing something that starts with "<script="" it gives me a 403 Forbidden Error. For eg. if I have <script=" as a topic heading it takes me to a 403 error. This is not a huge deal if it wasn't for the fact that I'm unable to do some admin stuff like add Google Analytics code to my forum 😞 Please help me diagnose this issue guys and gals. Thank you

When you create a bookmark on a recent mobile device, and place this on the home screen, it seems to be recognized as a web app rather than a bookmark of old. This means the forum is opened in a new browser window, with minimal UI, rather than opening a new tab in the default browser. How do we change this behavior?

Hello, how to disable message merge? For example, if I post a message, then another message, instead of two messages, they merge and make more than one, which is not always readable and logical. My friend has a forum about world war things and collectables. Now we integrated the Google Maps api for him. He creates some points of interest himzelf, like a certain place where a memorial statue is present. But when copying this to his IPS forum, he get's an error notice: Now I've searched Google for this, but can't find a solution, because he's just copying a link which Google Maps gives him. I have created a database for Tutorials which has categories and sub categories and need help to adjust the display of 2 components. 1. The Category menu block contains only the first 4 sub categories under a main category however I need the block to display ALL the sub categories: 2. On a main category page it displays all the sub categories, their title and their description. I need it to just display the sub category titles and not the descriptions as the descriptions for me needs to be long and are contained at the top of the sub category page anyway. Any advise on how to achieve these 2 I would be very grateful...thanks

So when I attempt to upload photos to my websites gallery, it commonly 500 Errors out, nearly 90% of the time. I suspect it is because the images I am uploading are above 5mb's in size, because lower sized photos appear to upload fine, but my permission groups are set above that parameter, so I am left scratching my head. Is there any way to use a link to join a club? That way, I can post it on social media, for example, where people will be taken to our website and (if logged in) immediately added to the Club. Clubs are very much a central feature of my site so this is critical. I tried to just do like this: https://www.argogaming.org/groups/6-indie-games-community/?do=join But it gives the following error. How can I fix or avoid this? I'd like to be able to just link people something that automatically adds them to whatever relevant club.
