I am able to make status updates from the side bar widget and CREATE menu but only as ADMIN. I have all my other groups set to use Status Updates but no other groups can add updates! Am I missing something here?

Hello. I have a databse which allow me to create articles and that work fine. I choose the option to autamtically create a subject in the forum. This work fine also BUT my subjet in the forum only have raw text. No pciture at all.... How can I change that to have at least the picture of what we are talking about ? And also in my subject I have : (title): (value) Any what clue what is that and where it come from ? Hi, I have just migrated my site from the cloud to its own dedicated server, I host this via Plesk has I did previously and all is working well except for one thing, when I ran the support function to see if anything wasn't working it stated "external connections not working". This is proven to be preventing clients registering as this throws the error EX110. After asking the support team they have stated the issue is related to the connection being lost to MySQL, I'm not able to find how to resolve this issue, any idea's? Regards.

A few people accidently registered with their email address as their display name. We changed it but others can still view the display name history for those users and see their email address. How can we clear the display name history or disable it from non moderators to see display name history?

Hello! We have migrated our forum to the new server. Database was transferred with mysqldump. Files were transferred with scp (zipped). Our wordpress site working good, but when we try to access forum it says: No such file or directory What can be a problem? I can't find any log with more information. Note: Directory path was changed. From: .../balkans1/.../forum to .../admin/.../forum Thank you!

For the past while (not sure how long) the Who's Online block has been visible to members. It shouldn't be because I've set permissions to Administrators only (Applications > System > Online User List). Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

I've got a long standing forum that's been there for years. (can't remember but early 2000's) It's very well established I'm getting annoyed though by the page redirection that goes: www.website.com https://www.website.com https://www.website.com/forums/ This also affects my site speed and I'm keen to eradicate this by moving from website.com/forums to website.com Question is though - how would this affect my standing with Google, SEO etc?

Swearings getting a bit out of hand on my forum lately, probably due to everyone being bored out of their minds, frustrated, skint etc etc because of Covid. Haven't activated the swear filter up till now, but as the forum is for professionals and is widely visited by the public I think I need to do something. Rather than just replace words with ***** I thought it might be fun to replace them with alternatives, might make the posted second guess trying to beat the filter, specially if I cover all bases. Anyone care to put forward some suggestions? Needs to be subtle enough as to not make a mockery of the place Example: c word - awesome guy

Hi guys, I am trying to convert from MyBB to IPB but I cannot get the full paths to MyBB installation to work on the converter. There are 3 instances that I need to fill...emoticons, members and attachments. I did install IPB on the same server as the MyBB forum...it is actually in same directory (7173mustangs.com) but I installed IPB in 7173mustangs.com/forums (new directory) Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I keep getting logged out of my admin control panel every 1-2 minutes. How can i stop this? I went to Security Settings and turn off Check IP address when validating session? and that fixed my issue, but in the setting's description it says "When disabled, there is a greater risk of session hijacking. In most environments, this setting should be left on. " What is a better way to resolve my issue with "Your IP address does not match this session"?

After talking to support and coming up empty handed, I turn to you. Maybe some of you came across something similar and found a solution or workaround. We have a forum that only members in a specific secondary group can post in. Users are manually added to this group at moderators' discretion. We've now decided to allow every user with 150 posts and more to automatically be allowed to post in that forum. However, after doing that, members in the secondary group (who were manually added) that DON'T HAVE 150 posts, can't post in the forum, even though all appropriate permissions seem to be set up correctly. been trying to setup facebook promote to my page, but it requires 4 additional permission like 'manage_page' for each permission I need to provide steps for them to test the feature, which I can't cuz it is not enabled tried setting up test developer api to use but it had like permission issue when requested how did you setup your facebook promote?

Hello, For some strange reason, my CKEditor stopped working. It doesn't appear: Inspecting the source code of the page, I came across a script from ckeditor not working, could that be? It looks like this message: The file is in the directory, the point is v=4e52a1ea3c when I remove this part it appears. I can't say if this code is a key, but could it be something there?
