Hi there, I am using a theme and at the top there is the name of my community. I am not seeing a place to turn this off anywhere in the theme settings, so I am assuming this is a setting within the Invision backend. Any ideas on how to turn it off so that there is no text over the girl's face? Thank you!

Another reply from Zapier: I checked if we had an Invision Community integration but couldn't find anything, so I assumed they weren't building it yet, sorry about that! I checked our Partners approval queue and I can see that there is a private app for Invision Community waiting for a reply from our team. Hi there, I upgraded and am anxious to get started with Zapier Beta. As instructed in the Community Enhancements section, I go to "My Apps" on Zapier, but IC is not to be found. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way I need to "enable" participation in the Beta? Thank you!

Hi everyone, I am using the Database feature within invison community's admin panel. Can anyone tell me the pro's and con's of when to make something a category vs. a separate database which can link to information. I am holding data such as: An entry that represents each child of a user (they may have 2 or three) Various "profiles" for each child (e.g. behaviors, strengths, incidents, etc.) I am inclined to put all of this into one database and simply use categories. Permissions seem to be working (only me and the user can see entries, not community as a whole). Any advice on when it is good to use a different database? Does this slow things down? Thanks!

Hi there! I am excited about the prospects of using the Database function in invisioncommunity. However, I would like to be able to have a more advanced form take the information. I use NinjaForms. I currently have Zapier, and there is a place to add MySql databases. I have been trying to get this to work with my database within invision, but it is not working. 1) Are the "databases" that we can add to pages and have users add/edit MySQL? 2) If so, where can I get the following information? I cannot find it anywhere in the Admin areas of through documentation. Host ("The IP address or hostname (db.example.com) of where your database instance resides. Note, localhost and 127.0.0.1 are not valid! Make sure it is accessible from these IPs: 54.86.9.50") i. I can't find any IP address references nor has using my site's address worked Port Couldn't find a single reference to this in documentation. Am I wrong??? Database I assume short name? (e.g. happypeople vs. Happy People Database) Username and Password They suggest making a user with very limited access but with database access, which i have done SSL Client Certificate (optional) and SSL Private Key (optional) Invision set me up with this--can I get the info from them somehow? Thank you so much for any advice or help you can give!

I bought a theme! lol. It is more customizable and makes things much more pretty from the start and helped me go in a different creative direction.
