I remember seeing the issue with the betas that application (and plugin?) updates may not be detected immediately. Admins could repeatedly "Check for updates" or run the equivalent task in Tools to force it along. I'm now running 4.5.1 (non-beta) - I still have applications that are outdated. I know this because when I click on the "Marketplace" link next to them, the Marketplace page shows a newer version along with the message "This resource is already installed and up to date" (even though it isn't). I've tried repeated "Check for updates"... There are still no updates detected. Am I missing something? Is this still a known b…

We want to make "activity" in our forum NOT VISIBLE to guests and non registered users. Right now anyone can come to our site and see the activity, listing new members, etc. How can we turn this feature off? Thanks! Hello, I have plugins and custom applications that are not compatible with IPB 4.5.0 I cannot update without those applications that are essential for the functioning of my website The original developer who created these add-ons and applications has not connected for a long time so I have no contact with him. My question, is it possible that another developer can update if I pass the plugins or apps to him? or do you need the source code? Thank you

I know there used to be a plugin or 2 for that, but they are outdated and I cannot find any newer ones. Is there a way in 4.4 to force certain groups to read a certain topic before continuing? Announcements don't always work, and I would prefer members to have to go to a certain thread, before they can continue. Anyone know if it can be done or if there is a current plugin?

Can anyone tell me how to replace the CSS forum markers with an image within the default theme? I know you can add an icon via the forum categories, however, I don't want to interfere with any of my other themes. I simply want to switch them out, I'm surprised the default skin doesn't have an option within the themes settings like custom themes do.

Doesn't happen that often and when I do get guests posting, it's mostly junk and or spammers. What I can't see and or find setting, I thought that setting was enable from the start for guest moderator approval. What guests to post but approved by a mod before it goes on public.

As the title says, the index.php shows the forum list all intact and amdin pages work just fine. However when I click on a diffferent page, even if its a forum, all the pages show up as Status Code 404 page not found?

Hi, I don't know where to post this, I was trying to install an application I have developed on my test bench and I have tried to upload it to my live site, and the admin CP broke, my application does not mess with anything admin CP Related. Everytime I try to access the admin CP, I get this error, please help me since this is an issue with my live site my users will be effected :c

I upgraded software on my cloud plan. At the top of the forum this error is displayed to all visitors. [[Template core/global/global/includeJS is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] And, nobody can reply or create new posts. I submitted a support ticket but who knows when IPS will get around to it. My inbox is filling up with members asking what is going on. I was only upgrading from 433 to 434. Any suggestions? Its a cloud plan so I dont have access to the server.
