Alright, the short version is that I haven't installed and setup a web server in about 10 years. In order to get IPS setup within the company I work for I need to setup an internal server and I'm having nothing but a pain in doing it. This server is refusing to install anything but 5.4 PHP which I'm willing to come back to later. Before I tried updating to 5.6 I had free and clear everything and I should have installed and just left it at that. Now I'm having a nightmare of a time getting the install script to work at all. i got some issues with member accounts in my forum i believe after i upgraded to ips 4.1.3.2 or it was exists even before that im not quite sure so dozens of my forum members are completely broke im not sure how many because they are in all groups BANNED LOCKED SPAMMERS VALIDATING i have checked several members in each group they are all same so the problem is i cant change edit move or doing ANYTHING ELSE on this members the "SAVE" button on this members doesn't work in acp for example if i wanted to move one of them to another group I CANT because after i change their group and clicking on "save" nothing happens its like the save button is not clickabl…

Hi guys My board has thrown a wobbley during the latest upgrade. Its saying my PHP version needs to be 5.3.0 or above but my version is 5.3.27 Unless im reading something wrong here i already meet the requirements. But like i said the upgrade process has stopped. And its causing huge problems around the board. Any help would be great thanks.

Hi Guys, just searching for some help here in dealing with an upload field in Pages and inserting <img src=""> in to the first 2 file objects of the array and ignoring the rest. I have an "Upload" box in a form that allows Image uploads: Inside the listing format I have custom: Now my issue is with the output, I note that it states on the page "If using mulitple uploads, $value is an array of File Objects." I created a new database template. But, there's some stylistic things on that page that I'd like to do with CSS. I noticed that inside of Templates there is a CSS tab, and no files inside. I created a CSS file there. How would I go about assigning that particular CSS file to my new database template, or that file to specific divs?

So I've got several fields in my database that I'm not requiring my staff to fill out. So it's an optional database field, essentially. When it comes to displaying this on the front end - can someone tell me the "Custom Display Format" that would hide this field if nothing is filled in. Then display the field if the staff member had put content into that optional database field. Thanks!

I installed a test site and the editor seems "stuck". I tried clearing all of my browser cache / settings (Chrome), closing and reopening the browser, and also running the site through the ACP support tools. Still no editor. I just installed this test site, it's completely stock. I went to the toolbar in the ACP, and you can see all of the buttons are missing. I cleared the cache and reopened my browser several times, still no luck.

If you add a spoiler to an announcement the contents of the spoiler are being shown to everyone in the announcement block above say the forums. If you enter the announcement then the spoiler works as intended. Running the latest version.

Hi, I want to edit the email templates, but it is very hard to edit them, as there is no visual editor or a preview button. So it gets very annoying editing, and then somehow forcing an email to be sent to myself to check if the changes I did are correct. Is there an easier way to edit the email templates? The addition of a preview button would go a long way... Thank you all in advance.

I like to show more than 5 popular contributors on the side bar widget in topic view. I toggle the option from front end widget control to make it 10 or 20. It's only increasing this numbers for week, but not for month, year and all time which remains fixed at 5. If I move this widget on main body above the topic it's showing up to 15 (not 20), but not in the sidebar. Anyway possible to fix that?
