Hi, I have just upgrade to IPS4.1 from 3.4.8 and all the process was ok But now I have only the A Test Forum and some other default datas. All my forums and members don't appear. I still can find the ips database with all the datas (and modified by upgrade) but nothing on backend and frontend. Could somebody help me ? Thank you!

Is there a way to disable avatars of the last poster in the forum views on mobile? Seems pointless and just causes the title text to squash up. I see no mobile options anywhere to adjust this view. Thanks

I have dumped a 3.x members database from a sister site (via MySQL), and have pruned a bunch of the extra fields out of the resulting CSV file. As a test, I manually created a small CSV in a text editor and was able to import it, but when I try the real CSV (with 5000 entries, or even pruned to 500 entries) the member import page never makes it far enough to match the fields together .. Is there a recommended maximum number of records to import, and are there any other things I should consider doing to the data before importing it?

I used to be able to just post the URL to a YouTube video and the forum software (V4) converts it automatically to an embedded video with the thumbnail and play functionality. That doesn't work anymore. When I paste the URL, its published just as a link. Any idea how to fix it? Thank you

As part of a subscription, I would like to allow users of a group to create up to 30 new topics in our buy sell forum, but have unlimited responses, and unlimited posts in other sections of the site (discussion boards). What would be the best to implement this functionality (or is there an add on that would enable this)? This quantity of allowed posts will need to vary depending on what group the user is in. Thanks

I am converting my SMF site to IP4.x.x. I already know that I need to go SMF->IP3.4.8 -IP4.x.x but I have a few questions. Must I install all of the 3.4.8 applications or just the forum? (i have them all and will use them all when it upgrades to IP4.x.x) Must I wait for all of the 3.4.8 background tasks to complete before upgrading to 4.x.x? I have a LOT of images on my SMF board so I am concerned about this making things take for ever, any suggestions? Thank you

I'm trying to create a new page and add blocks to it but having a few issues. So mainly i'm trying to add a recent picture gallery to the top of a page which there is a custom block already created or I should say it was already in the list of custom blocks ( I never created it) So the issue is even though I select that it still says (see attachment) I have no Idea where to go from here as there is not many option to select and I checked all the permissions that I know off and I can't see anything else to change there I'm no pro at this so Any help would be awesome! My forum is massively heavy on youtube and soundcloud embedding which was previously done in bbcode. How does it work now? You just post links? Does it auto-embed from every site available? And how can I stop soundcloud from being so huge? It posts enormous and the entire width of the page. I have 'Maximum video width' set to 700 but that completely ignores Soundcloud. And how do I get it to work for Mixcloud? Why remove bbcode then create some automatic system that doesn't cater for everything like bbcode could?

Hi! Atm i've used iframe for long php script in pages, but this isn't ever the best solution (eg: https://laltroweb.it/webmster-tool/thumb-your-pages/ ). My request is: how i can write raw (real) php code directly inside ip.pages? I've try with "insert" and work fine (i can insert a script with php code), but can cause issue if this script has a form. - Write php directly inside pages can be the best solution in some circumstances. Will this be an issue? Installed the latest of the 3.4 line, set it up, imported my XF site and then ran the upgrade and got this during the upgrade. Is this because of the update checks that the system does and since it was a fresh install, no entries were in that table?

I have created a new forum that ties directly into my Twitter community and I would like all new forum members to be required to join using the Twitter handler only and force the new members to use their Twitter usernames, Twitter avatars, and Twitter header image so that the other members can identify who they are communicating with in the forum and be confident they are actually talking to that same person from Twitter. So I moved my installation to one directory up from the original, I updated conf_global.php and most everything works except I seem to be missing everything that was in the uploads directory, however that directory was moved, and automatically updated in the storage settings. There is also no recache options like I keep seeing everywhere I've searched as the cache seems to be turned off for my site(for now). Any suggestions?
