dalbert Posted December 28, 2015 Share Posted December 28, 2015 I have dumped a 3.x members database from a sister site (via MySQL), and have pruned a bunch of the extra fields out of the resulting CSV file. As a test, I manually created a small CSV in a text editor and was able to import it, but when I try the real CSV (with 5000 entries, or even pruned to 500 entries) the member import page never makes it far enough to match the fields together .. Is there a recommended maximum number of records to import, and are there any other things I should consider doing to the data before importing it? dalbert Posted December 28, 2015 Author Share Posted December 28, 2015 As a follow up to this, when I pruned it down to 100 entries, the data gets to the data correlation page, but every record is now shown in the column from CSV. When opening the csv file the lines do show (it's not just one long run on line)... From there I changed the output in Excel to Windows formatted CSV, and that brought in the correct number of fields. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
