I just upgraded from 3.4.8 to 4.0.11 and now my community is totally unusable. Like there is no styles anymore? Upgrade went fine but after the last click "move to community" or something like that, caused problems. There is default theme is use, no modifications. Maybe you know quick fix for this? Hi, After upgrading script to ver. 4.1 i got huge problem. Every new post, new translation etc. works perfect. Every Polish character displays as it should be displayed. Problem is with old posts, topics names end everything where polish chars was used. - Everyone polish letter like "ś" "ł" "ż" displays as "??". and almost everytime post wont display all content. (it ends dependig on where polish chars was used.) Anyone know how to repair this? I have tried convert my DB using MySQL Wrokbench manually, using UTF 8 converter... Everytime end with this mess... We have an issue with implementing SSO properly. We use SSO to verify if the user is logged in on other parts of our website, on the same subdomain, same protocol (https). It works fine but sometimes after inactivity on the forum, SSO doesnt recognize the session any more while if you browse to the forum - youre logged in. The cookies are still there. We use this code (see bottom of post) to check if someone is logged in our forum on other parts of our website. Could someone tell us whats causing this and if possible how to fix this. I've been investigating some reported slow posting speeds. I'm finding very odd results that appear to be very consistent, yet completely inconsistent pending which way you look at it. In one forum area I'll post a reply (typical "test, test, test"). It will take 2 seconds on the dime to post. In another area it takes 5 seconds on the dime. In our new question/answer area it takes 15 seconds on the dime. If I go back and do them in a backwards order etc I seem to get the same exact results for the same area. Obviously the 2 seconds is good. But the 5-15 seconds with my 50mb connection is painful. I hear those with slower connections are getting much worse results at our f…

Why, when your default engine is InnoDB, and you have converted your existing tables over to InnoDB does IPS insist on using MyISAM for tables that it really doesn't need to? I'm specifically referring to Pages and when you create a new DB instance via it.

I know that profile views were disabled for guests in IPS3, is this possible for IPS4? I'd rather be able to disable profile views for guests to prevent spammers/spambots and the like from collecting email addresses of my community.

Hello all, I'm looking to create something that can pull a users profile information, checks a 3rd party site based on some of the account and profile information, then modifies their group depending on what is returned from the 3rd party lookup. I have most of this covered however I'm at a loss on how to actually pull all users then pull a specific users information, then at the end change their group? Is there like a current example or a how-to for 4.0? I found a lot of out of date information while looking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Rob

I like how these are top aligned. Switching to expanded they are not top aligned. If I can move the post icon down as well as the arrow pointing to it from the white box, that would be great. It looks like I could accomplish this by making the space above the arrow the same in both boxes, so whatever it is on the top one, mimic below, and move the icon down so the arrow points to the center of it. Then both would be the same. Any help appreciated, thanks!
