Users are complaining they can't see the "choose files" and as a result can't figure out how to upload. I don't think it's a permissions problem because I can see it if I log in as a regular member. A bug perhaps? Javascript error? ugh.. any ideas? PS, this is with NO extra hooks or mods of any kind installed.

I have upgraded my forums and downloads to latest version of IPB v4.x IP Downloads are working fine, but I can see in the error log that some of the files could not be found. Before the upgrade I have copied the Downloads and Screenshots folder and most of the stuff works fine, but can't figure out which files are missing and why. Here's the error message: Sorry, there is a problem The CSRF protection key did not match. This may indicate a plugin or theme is out of date. Please contact technical support for more information. Can anyone help me out with the search. Mysql database stopped from fulltext search. Was trying Rhett´s answer: I can confirm this is working after clearing the cache, here are the currently needed steps to do this. In your my.cnf or your mysql config file, (will vary depending on setup) add/edit the following line ft_min_word_len=3 Restart mysql Rebuild search index in IPS4 Run the first step of the support tool to clean the cached files mentioned above. Success! after this there is no changes. Can somebody do a walkthrough how to do every step. I´m using an own server and Putty ssh.

Got carbon from IPSfocus installed with problems regarding my windows phone, I have the completed topic here http://www.ipsfocus.com/forums/topic/9825-carbon-on-mobile-smartphone/#entry41590 Anyway, Carbon theme clickable links, like the main navigation manu seems to not be working for me. Same for the demo site and two other peoples website that use carbon. No problems with uniform theme. I'm using windows phone. And browser is working I think it is anyway. When I load the website with Carbon theme selected it loads and freeze and I can't do anything

I deleted the default emoticon group in adminCP, because I wanted to replace some emoticons. After deleting it, I cant create new groups. This is what I do: click on 'Add emoticons' > select emoticon > give grp a name (e.g. Other) > press save Nothing happens after pressing save. Can someone pls help me to restore the default group? I think deleting the default group caused some internal error somewhere.

I recently converted and upgraded from SMF to - > 3.X.X to --> 4.x.x My root install folder (smf) was at www.mydomain.com/forum/ on 3.x and when I upgraded I installed to www.mydomain.com/forums/ <--- the same but I added an "S" on forums I liked it because I could still access my old forum and I could also access my new forum. However, I see that many people are trying to log in at the old location. They must be using outdated links. Google has lots of link juice and old references too. Should I try and do some fancy regex redirect or should I simply change my new directory to "forum" instead of "forums"?

Is there a way to detect/edit/create a Menu Item Type in the Menu Manager? The reason I ask is that I would like to add easy access to some of my Store's categories to the menu using the type of smart application linking that is already available for the store itself. Some of the dropdowns already available for the Store's stored cards, addresses, personal info, etc. are already included. Is there a way to get store categories and sub-categories tossed in the mix, dynamically?

Hi Just today i have upgraded Invision power board from 3.xx In 3.xx any image posted, used to auto fit in screen. But in this version its showing full image. I have also tried after changing setting of " Maximum image dimensions to save" and Maximum image dimensions to display from System > General > posting but still its showing full image Example:http://goo.gl/gFkzi0 please suggest

Is there a better way of removing old attached files and images. I have upgraded from 3.x to 4.x I was trying to use the "Insert other media" and I noticed many file showing 0bytes. So I went to attachments and can't find them there. I did find some that are no longer needed as the posts are probably gone and years old. When I go into attachments and find the one I'm looking for by selecting the image tab, sorting by date, then by member and click "delete". It deletes the image fine. It then throws you back to the very first page and you have to reselect Image, date, member each time you want to delete a file. If you have several this can take forever. Is it sup…

Hi, I have just upgrade my IPS 3.4.8 community and have some issues. The worst for me is this one : All old image attachments don't appear on forum posts, but when I edit the post I can see the image attachment Do you know how to resolve this issue ? Now that we've got HiDPI smileys, is there a way (in 4.1) to add other HiDPI assets? I'm most interested in our organization's logo, of course, but there are a lot of graphical assets in our boards that would benefit from having a HiDPI version available.

Hi there, Since I've upgraded to 4.1 from 3.xx, I've noticed that the notifications doesn't tell us anymore who did what. For example, if someone like a comment i've made, i'll receive a notification saying "someone" like your comment in .... Same thing for actual likes. We cannot see who like what for example. Is there a way to set it up so that we have access to those informations? Thanks guys

Hi there, since a few days (4-5) my users experience some outages while using the chat. I received a few mails from the error log daemon (error code 5H268/6 - The server can't connect to the IPS-chat server) and some chat messages are doubled or deleted. Does anyone have the same issues?

I've been attempting to do a test upgrade of my forum from 3.x to 4.1 on my local machine via WAMP however the upgrade process keeps getting stuck with the following nondescript error: It doesn't matter if I click 'retry' or 'continue' - it just repeats the same thing. How do I troubleshoot this issue - is there an error log somewhere with more detail about what the problem is ?

I have a member using Firefox who cannot post on the message board. When she uses Chrome she doesn't have that problem. There never was a problem before upgrading to IPS4. I had her delete cookies and try again, but it still doesn't work. Are there any suggestions as to why Firefox won't let her post?
