Blocks/widgets are one of the key features that make Invision Community great. However, I don't use them all and would like to hide the one's I don't use or don't want to use so that the ones I do use are quicker and easier to reach. How can I hide widgets/blocks from the block manager?

Hello. I also administer an IPB forum from a friend of mine. He has the commerce package. Several over his users are having a paid subscribtion for a year, to get extra access to things and forums. After a year they can decide to get a new subsribtion for a year. Now their forum/club exists for 15 years and they want to give any user registered at that moment, a free 1 year subscribtion. Ofcourse to be fair to the paying members, they also have to get this 1 year free subscribtion added to their current running subscribtion. Is it possible to do this an easy way? Or do we have to add the year subscribtion manually some how to the currect subscribers? O…

Is there any list of official versions of items supported? For example, the 4.5.2 release notes say "Updates search compatibility for Elastic Search 7." but according to @bfarber in this post, only 7.6.2 and earlier is supported. How are we supposed to know the exact versions supported before we upgrade to 4.5.2, without searching the forum for all possible issues? I can imagine many people just upgrading elasticsearch to the newest version from the repo and finding out later that it doesn't work. Plus, how many other items are like this? An official versions supported document would be great.

HI I decided I would try out lazy load and went to my ACP to turn it on. I was surprised to be asked if I wanted to rebuild my content. I thought I knew how lazy load works but now I am confused. Why does this need to happen? What exactly will happen if I rebuild my content? What happens if I choose no? can I change my mind later if I choose yes? Can I change my mind if I choose no? I have over 1 million image attachments. Should I be worried? Thank you 🙂

Is it possible to limit the depth of the Fluid View navigation on the right to only filter 2 levels deep? I have some forums that run 4 levels deep, and would only like to display the top 2 levels as the sidebar becomes excessively long otherwise.

So let's say I have two member groups - Member and Advanced Member Using Group promotions, I set the rule that members in the "member" group are promoted to "advanced member" when x post count is hit However, I want to demote them back to "member" when they hvae been inactive for x days which I presume I use the "member last visited" or if I want to "member last posted" options. My questions are; Do they move automatically when they hit the last visited / posted threashold Do they move back if they visit / post automatically OR does the other rule override them moving back? i.e because they already have x post count? EDIT: solution part 1 | Solution part 2. One of the nicer things I wanted to implement in our community are the badges the appear at the top of posts made by "noteworthy" individuals, like management team members, topic authors and members of distinct user groups (like in the screenshots): But for some reason (we all know "I'm dumb" is a possible reason. I'm just saying what everyone is thinking) I can't find where to enable this feature. Anyone can point me in there right direction? Thanks.

Hi there, quick question. My members are very interested in a better way to search for "custom emojis," or "emotes" as they're nicknamed on my forum. They are extremely popular and often used on my site. Check out this thread that one of my members started. Wondering... would it be possible somehow to sort existing custom emotes? For example, ALL of our custom emotes are in one Group. I was thinking of categorizing custom emotes by Group so it's easier to find them. So far so good with the 4.52 update except one color issue which I can't seem to find. At the top of the page - the notification area, where can I change the color of the text and icons here. They're so dark against my red themed background. Any idea where this color can be changed?

The instructions given for upgrading these is "go to the market and click install", but doing so says that it's already installed and I need to delete the existing one to move to market version. But doing so would delete the existing data. This would suck pretty hard for stuff like feedback and trophies. How can I upgrade without data loss?

The upgrade process of the forum went great, the install of my Light/Dark themes went great as well. Hi, all. I sell products on my board. The new 'product page enhancement' plugin I installed yesterday is showing '0 reviews' next to the price. The old page didn't show that with the 'Customers can submit reviews?' option turned off in the Store permissions. It looks bad with '0 reviews'. So, since I can't turn it off, I'll ask my customers to write reviews. Where do I send them to do that?

Hello, I'm trying to style some embedded cards like reddit and others, to add ba white backgroundon a custom skin. However I can't seem to override its styles what come from this file: https://cdn.embedly.com/css/all.f42da7e9.css if I add to custom.css .card.reddit .reddit-post .card.reddit .reddit-post {background:#fff; background-color:#fff} nothing changes on refresh. but if I add this line when in inspect element - then voila - bg changes.

hi, I recently got into email list cleaning since my community is 14 years as of 2 days ago. 🙂 I know yaaay 😄 so I discovered neverbounce.com they do a solid work and even offer 1000 free cleans on a new account. Thing is I exported some emails from IPS ACP members list. fed it to neverbounce it spit back out a list of non-existant, not working and otherwise unusable email boxes in a csv format. 1m dollar question now is how do I unsubscribe from receiving my emails in BULK those members which have those bad emails?

I changed a word to be filtered into 2 STARs "**" and now I am getting tons of complaints because email addresses are being affected This doesn't seem helpful at all. I would prefer if the word filter sticks to the stuff being posted to the site.
