Goog day everyone, I was wondering if there is a possibility, a tool or extension for Invision community that will allow me to automate the bulk emails. I want to promote interaction amongst users. My web site is a learning platform and interaction of members is crucial for learning, so I need tools to send automated emails to users that haven't been active for a period of time, haven't posted more than X posts in a period of time and so on. I don't want to send a single email. Maybe 2-3 after X days. A sort of funneling. Is there a way to do that with an extension? Is there a way to search for embedded content in the search results? For example, an embedded youtube/vimeo video that someone has posted. I see no way how to search for youtube embedments; even if to search for the word "youtube" or "youtu.be" in the source code of the post.

You can tell I've just upgraded to v. 4.5 can't you? (With the usual trickle down of required PHP upgrades etc.), anyway... There has now appeared some kind of topic statistics block on some (not all) forum topics that I view. Using the "Manage Blocks" graphic editor will not allow me to remove the block from display on the page. Does anyone have any more information about this? Why it appears on some topics, yet not on others? How to completely remove it (I never asked for it). Many thanks.

Hi guys, can we customise order in which forums are displayed when using default IPS theme via mobile device? We are using chatbox plugin and it is always displayed in the middle of the wall, which annoys my users. Is there a way to move it to the bottom on mobile theme, just like you move blocks around on desktop theme? Thanks

Hi there everyone, I recently took over a forum that was being managed by someone who essentially abandoned it. It was extremely out of date, and is facing some serious issues. So I bought a new license key (as the old owner took his Invision account with him) to upgrade the install. Unfortunately, I bought the edition with no Nexus / commerce module or whatever, and that has caused some issues with the upgrade, as it's saying the files were not upgraded properly (as they are likely still out of date, since I did not purchase that module, nor do we need it) and now since the upgrade is in progress, I can't access the adminCP to disable them, nor can I find a wa…

When you visit a profile page and click on a members See Reputation Activity link, it comes up with an empty page and a message that says, "There's nothing here yet" What am I missing to get this working? Is Rep different that reactions? Maybe I missed a setting somewhere?

Hello! I am trying to set up group permissions on my community, but I'm having a bit of an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Right now it seems as if children categories/forums are not inheriting their parent's permissions list. This is causing permissions to not be synced, which is a huge requirement for my community. Am I just missing a blatantly obvious setting or are permissions simply not inherited from parents? Thanks again! 🙂

I purchased a plugin (https://invisioncommunity.com/clients/purchases/81289-hq4-badges/) and the plugin has image resources that I cannot download because when I try to download the plugin it just gives me instructions for how to install it through the Admin CP. I know how to install the plugin... I want to download the files so I can get the image resources that are included and the system just forces me to read installation instructions (presumably because I have a cloud subscription to Invision Community). Is there a way I can bypass this? It's frustrating that it just assumes I don't actually want the files themselves.

HI, We use status updates a lot. A member has asked how they can pin a status update to the top of their profile so that when someone visits their profile the status is what is seen first. Is this out of the box functionality? Is it possible? Thank you 🙂

Is it possible to rerun the marketplace setup? I thought that one of my apps was purchased outside of the marketplace on the developer website and marked it accordingly, turned out that wasn't the case and I do have a valid purchase here. So I want to re-run the initial marketplace setup wizard and mark this application correctly, is that possible or it is one shot only?

Is it possible out of the box, with no plugins, to set up a page in Pages that would pull content from the feeds of multiple Invision Community sites? Say for example you ran a sport focused network of communities that didn't make sense to run as individual clubs on a single install (and you want each on their own domain with own theme and own install), but you wanted to show popular posts from "across the network" to cross promote other communities in that network of sites. Hi guys, Have just updated to 4.5.3 and noticed that even using default theme, the navbar shows all the sublinks in the line below. It didn't do this before, and doesn't appear to in this invision community forum either? Is there an issue with my forums template? Is the same whether in grid view or normal. Also noticed that the forums display the subforums too, which makes it look very messy. Anyway to fix these two issues? Thanks Dave

Hi, is it possible to backup applications and plugins so you can get a copy of the tar/xml file like before? Use cases: Depending on the changelog, I might decide not to upgrade a certain plugin or app and want to reinstall it. I might need to install it in my test enviroment, which is not connected to the internet. I think I found the *.tar files in /tmp however, I'm not sure where to find the xml files.

How can I freeze the renewal purchases from counting down? In other words, how can I automatically extend the length of select purchaes? Is there a setting to prevent a member from manually ending a subscription in Commerce? I've looked and can't seem to find such a setting. This is not for me, but a client of mine who wants subscribers to write him when they want to cancel - he's writing something into his T&C's that requires notice of cancellation - so that he can manually cancel and then remove the member from the members list as it is a requirement that members must be subscribers; the site is for Union members. Guests can browse, but benefits and services are for members only. The problem of members cancelling themselves has revolved around people joining for a specific purpose and then …

Is there some way a standard member can get a membership list with a sort by a custom profile field or similar? For instance. Hi there! I'm looking to sell accounts on my website through the Commerce->Products functionality. Essentially, when a user buys the product, they get account info (email address and password to a given service). It looks like revealing dynamic content to purchasers of products is not possible outside of the built in license functionality which isn't going to suffice here from what I can tell. I tried using custom fields on the products but it doesn't look like it can differ for each purchase on the product. Any ideas how to do this?

My new content search for the site displays unread items. If I change the Read Status to everything, it lists the first page ok However if I select load more content, I get told "There's no more activity to display" If I change the time period to "all time" I get the rest of the content that's missing. What can I do to clear this? Server time, date etc is fine.
