A little help, please. Update: I now only need to know how to change "Invision Community" from FFFFFF to 000000, so it can be seen with the light colored background. It is located below my first question in the screenshot below. Thank you! My forum is hosted in the cloud. I am making these changes by smartphone, and changing the appearance of the forum as seen by a smartphone.

If a user reports their purchases as fraud, the first thing I do is BAN the user account associated with the report. I don't want that user to ever come back on my site and purchase another thing. Can they come back with a different account and use the same credit card all over again? Thank you 🙂

Is there a way to automatically change members avatars from first letter of user name to a defined picture of my choosing? To clarify, once a member is banned, I'd like the default avatar to be changed for a ban group's avatar.

I hade som strange behavior in my ACP and i culdn't figure out what the problem was. My meny icons start to disappear. I thought the problem was with the cache or some PHP functions. I allso translated my site at the same time but I could not first understand that this also affected the icons in ACP. A small tip is to be careful when translating because some ACP icons are also affected if you translate system words as an example: system menutab__members_icon user I translated the user to swedish and the icon of the Member in ACP disappear. class="fa fa-user"

This past weekend, our community switched from XenForo back to Invision Community (which we were on up until a few years ago.) I looked around and everything seemed to indicate that old XenForo URLs would automatically be redirected to their Invision counterpart, however that is not currently the case. Old URLs simply dump users back to the site homepage. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of guidance on how to make sure URL redirects after conversions are working, and what to do if they're not. Did I miss something? Is there a setting I'm not seeing that I need to flip on?

Hi, I converted from vbulletin and for some reason the "post must be approved" settings are both set to "yes for all forums. No i have around 100 forums and to be honest i really don't want to loose time changing it manually. Is there a way to it for all forums at once ? Thanks.

I'm fairly new to the software. This is my first question. I have no clue about css. In designing the colors etc., the easy editor function helps a lot. Although not always. My problem can be seen on the screenshot. The words/links circled in red are not "white" enough to be seen. How can i change them? Thanks for your help

Hi, I've moved my community (+ Wordpress) to another host. I went from Apache to Nginx. Everything looks to be working except for the 'friendly url'. I know Nginx doesn't support htaccess but i don't know the solution. If i disable the friendly url setting the community works fine...but all my links are broken. Please advise. Thanks, Ronald

How can I schedule the Daily Digest emails that go out so that they are sent in the morning for each time zone? Right now for example they come in the morning for me but some one ten time zones away gets it in the middle of the afternoon...can I override it? Thanks Melissa :)

Hello im new to this software, i see there is a Cpanel/WHM server setup in the admin panel, im looking to sell pages that clients can sign up for and have their own page to advertise their products on, so when they sign up they would get a cpanel account on my domain using a [subdomain], is is possible to set up packages this way?

I figured I'd resort to here as the plugin-creator hasn't responded nor read my inboxed messages in 6 days now but has posted all over the IPS Forums. I bought a donation plug-in that came with a meter that is supposed to move when a donation has came in, our donation goal was set to $200 and has had over 75$+ in donations but the meter doesn't move and it still says 0$ of 200$. The good news is the donation system works and updates the recent donors, all-time, and monthly, but the meter itself does not move upon donation. Does anyone have any idea why this may be? I'm building out a community that needs some custom pages - the pages will be accessing the DB but also have custom designs. What is the best way to do this? I cannot get it to work using the following methods: Custom Page Only - This accepts all HTML and JS code but any PHP added just gets ignored/ not displayed. Custom Page with Blocks - blocks accept PHP but don't allow any HTML at all. Workable but would need a custom block for each new bit of php. Ideally someone will be able to point out how simple it is to allow PHP on custom pages and how stupid I am for missing it. Thanks in advance.

I'm hoping I have the right section; I had tried to reach out to the plugin developer in which he hasn't responded to me in days, spent some decent cash on his plugin, but when I install the tar file, and then refresh the site to begin messing with the widget,etc. The page glitches out upon installation. https://gyazo.com/f8eef84ce23fd621ef5bb8474013a01d I had to remove the plugin as it created the page issue. Does anyone know a potential fix to this issue or am I stuck waiting on the plugin creator to reply? What happens if the plugin creator does NOT reply and just goes 100% inactive. Is it like a your money is gone and you're out of luck sort of deal?

I have done a migration from XF over to IPS and the have kept the XF ability for users to have Albums but I am questioning the value of allowing albums or just have a gallery of images without albums as there seems to be albums that have images across many different categories which makes it hard for users to see all images pertinent to a type of category. What do you think...is it better for categories to contain all images specific to that category and not have albums or have many different category images in a single user album? Hi guys, I have installed SSL certificate on my server, checked it with a checker website - everything works OK. Then I used this guide to enable it on my community https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/configuration-options/using-ssl-https-r273/ added an "s" to "http" in "site url" in conf_global.php - uploaded it via ftp to server... And I get 403 error every time I try do do anything more, I can't access the site, admin panel, anything. I cleared my browser's cache, it did not help. I had to re-edit the conf_global.php back to http. Any ideas? Thanks
