Hi When contributors are allowed to earn credit by selling things in the downloads app it would be VERY handy for the site owner to be able to have a running total (site wide) balance owed at any given point. When you have MANY contributors and not all of them immediately withdrawal funds, it's a little worrisome that an incredible balance could be growing. I would love to see this summarized somewhere. Can someone tell me where to look? If it's not available this would be a great 3rd party mod for someone to build. Thank you 🙂

Hi, we have clubs on our forums from years, but they are based on forum and topics in it. We want to migrate our clubs into IPS Clubs. But mow we have it like: one club = one topic on forum. So on new Clubs we want to make it easy for our users. I found option to move Topic tab into 1st place at club, but still user must go into (new) Clubs, select Club name, and then enter Topic on new page. My proposition is to make an option, to set it, that if Club have only one topic (like in our case) - to open that topic automatically.

For extra anti-spam I make use of the build in "Question and Answer" challenge. However, I can't define anywhere how many questions should be asked. At this moment I've got 7 questions in there from which I like to have asked 3 of them randomly on registration. When testing registrations for another problem, unfortunately only 1 of those questions is asked and it's also often the first one. Is there an option to have a custom set (for example 3) question/answer challenges done on registration? Or if not, I would like to put this in as a feature request.

1. add the number of guests to the output display thinking is that it shouldn't really add to the performance hit , yep? would be a lot more useful and also give out a more 'positive' vibe to guest viewers who currently just get 0 members etc 2. if #1 above can't be done then have a auto-hide option if no members are viewing

I have no idea why CKEditor was very recently updated with IPS again, but I just realised I lost all my custom buttons and toolbar setups. I know some people here will say it's my fault for customising (not that there were many), but it eludes me why it had to be updated again so soon. [Grumbles about IPS needing an editor button managment system...] EDIT: Ok, it seems as if the CKEditor version is listed as the same in the Add Button screen....but the last update toasted my editor button configuration (not only custom buttons but also my toolbar layout) and I have no. idea. why. 😲

Subscription plans are missing the following setting that store products have: I would say that this setting is very relevant for subscriptions as you want to offer members the opportunity to buy a subscription plan as they register. This would allow us to keep the "Force Subscription purchase when registering?" setting to off. We just need members to be given the option. Thank you.

In CSS file framework/popup.css you enter the following rules: .ipsTooltip { ... padding-top: 4px !important; padding-bottom: 4px !important; ... } but in file framework/comments.css have this .ipsTooltip.ipsComment_inlineQuoteTooltip { ... padding: 7px !important; ... } Here the browser recalculates / and accordingly delay / and results: "padding" resets "padding-top" and "padding-bottom" property set earlier. Please edit these rules.

Hi InvisionCommunity, I purchased the Cloud service tonight, but it looks like something went wrong with my forum provisioning. I've tried opening my site across two different browsers, but the forum appears to be corrupted. Is there any way to fix this, outside from submitting a ticket? Thanks!

4.3.3: When a user switches to the rich text editor for the description, two of them display. Also, when a user is tagged in the description, everything after the tag disappears when it is submitted. This only happens during the upload wizard, not when a description is added after the fact, and it happens at random. I am able to duplicate both bugs on my live site with and without third party content, and my test site which has no third party content and a fresh install of the beta files.

Commerce feedback I installed the Stripe payments option for Commerce but I'm disappointed to find IPS loads multiple Stripe files on every page throughout the community, not just where actually needed such as inside a store or checkout page? They also get flagged for having various issues on GTMetrix which reduces your performance rating. If you have multiple payment options, would they all load unnecessarily on every page? Please could you install a check so they only load if and when required? Many thanks.

I haven't noticed on this website anywhere that there is a directory of Invision communities. If I've missed it then please point me to it. If it doesn't exist then it seems to me that it would be very interesting for lots of people to be able to have a look at the wide range of interests which are reflected amongst Invision platforms and also the variety of styles and approaches that are used by Invision communities around the world.

Reported content often needs some discussions with the one who reported and the one who posted the content. Now we have to use private messages or mail and tell the other moderators about it. If we had two more fields like the comments, one for the reporter and one for the author, we could have the discussions there and at hand, if any moderator needs them. It should be possible to use something like the support part of the suite.

I alway visit to marketplace and know the most new of apps... But now all new apps are by kirill gromoll I think there should be add a widget or filter that let me check files by the newest, but a list of all apps... Now I don't know if before kirill gromoll there are others new apps are submitted.

When upgrading my themes to 4.2, I have been intentionally trying to avoid HTML modifications in an attempt to make my themes "upgrade friendly". In some cases, template modifications are necessary - however based on my own experience and customer bug reports, it has become increasingly apparent that there are design issues with the Default IPS theme. Many pages lack the .ipsBox class which should be used to wrap content. Failure to use this class means text is displayed on the body background which is rarely intended. While the custom profile fields currently allow for a maximum length setting. It does not allow us to set a minimum length at all. Not even for the Password field... I think it would be great to add a Minimum Length option to all fields which currently support the Maximum Length.
