Hi, I think google photos is so populated today, as google map and others google products. Why ips don't want to take this advantage of free storage for end users, have it integrated with IPS gallery or whatever? 🤔 Because don't like Google? All my photos and videos are take by my cellphone, thanks for the google photos without limitation of storage, I can have this "big storage issue" resolved. I would like have the photos album, videos or pictures, embedded into my ips site for my members or projects scenes of use. https://developers.google.com/photos/library/guides/overview

Hey, IPS, you must do it! This is a good part of any community. You do a great job for us, but we do not have a some functionality, for example we want to create topics with custom template with fields. We want to create events with Database Relationship field to retrieve data from the Pages and etc. Is it planned to do this in the future?

Maybe these are a stupid ideas IDK/ MOD APPROVAL 3RD BUTTON When approving content via site moderation, have a third button: Approve but don't notify. Maybe the content is spammy but not spammy enough to delete. So the content is approved but none of the followers get a notification. As the admin, you've determined that the content is on the borderline of being acceptable and you'll approve it, but not send a notification. Reply in the thread still get notified of replies if they follow the topic. Just people who follow the forum wouldn't get notified on that initial thread creation. I'm struggling with a navigational issue involving the IPS help guides here that has irked me enough to make this request. There is no way to navigate to the "next" content page when browsing the guides. Would you please consider adding "previous" and "next" links within the guides, and maybe for bonus points, jumps to the last and next sections of the guide as well. For example: While in the Pages section, I might be looking at Core Concepts and be reading along each entry. To go to the next one, I need to scroll all over the page to find the menu on the left, figure out where I am, and then figure out what the next page is instead of a nice "Go to Databas…

The default streams created by ips already use nice furls stream id furls are fine for streams created by members, but system streams created via admin should have more control when adding new default streams to the ACP , there should be an option to set the url for that stream.

Why do we have to pay for a URL change after we use the free one every 6 months? Day light robbery, we already subscribe for a license, and paid the initial fee to get the software, makes no sense to charge even more to do a simple task that nearly every software vendor offers with no additional costs? Two URL changes in 6 months, out costs a $25 USD 6 MONTH renewal price..

It would be nice to implement pastebin, so pastes can be pushed via editor directly and inserted into post. Pastebin is widely used to provide range of pastes, read more: https://pastebin.com/api It is also a good way of avoiding long content posted by users as a paste what is pretty annoying and common issue. Pastebin is free to use but also has paid features, less than $50 lifetime, so it is not expensive, worth to implement.

Hi, Currently the option to select a preferred currency seems limited to the Store's front page. I couldn't find it in Account Settings or elsewhere. This limitation means users clicking on the available subscriptions widget or landing on the subscriptions page, won't see it and don't release they can choose to view prices or pay in their preferred currency. I also think the option for reviews/comments on Subscriptions would be nice to see and might encourage others to upgrade to a premium account.

If we click on Restore Default Streams then streams are immediately restored, there is no confirmation screen before it happens. The restore method also restores Stream Titles. If the community is not in English, then all translated titles are wiped out as well. There should be at least a confirmation screen before restoring that informs that stream titles will be reseted to English and have to be translated again.

I have been on the CiC for many years, wanting to merge a couple sites meant going self hosted and while I already had a license I never really used it @Rhett has been great support and has helped me thru what was probably simple questions for those with server experiance without showing up at my door and smacking me in the head, thanks Rhett. All IPS staff has always been great to work with over the years. @Adriano Faria was also a huge part in helping me with getting this done, one of the best 3rd party devs on the marketplace.

Not being able to offer discounts is the main blocker for me not being able to use the Subscriptions feature in Commerce. I cannot see any logical reason for this option not being available. Am I missing a trick? If not, please can I get an explanation as to why this is the case.

I think Commerce is one of the most useful features in IPB. And I love the fact that it allows for community members the opportunity to upload files that they can sell and make money from. However, in the future, I see two nice ways to improve upon this and take it to the next level. 1) Allowing the sale of physical items as well. Yes there are 3rd party plugins that can be used for that right now, but it would be great if it were just apart of IPB. 2) Stripe Connect! Right now, when a member sells a file, it's too much of a tedious process to get their money. It goes into their account as credit and they have to withdraw it. And for people like me who don't enj…

Credit where credit is due, from my experience the spam filter works beautifully without any false positives. I have seen other forums, using competing systems, being destroyed by spam and their admins being overwhelmed and don't know what to do. I am so glad that IPS has a solution that does not require any maintenance and in combination with the regular captcha makes my board virtually spam free. I see there are some spam detection enhancements on the marketplace, maybe useful for other users, I am speaking just from my experience that the built-in functions are perfectly fine and I am thankful for that.

Hello, I am using IPS 4.4.10 and I have noticed that you can still visit and see the login page even though I am already logged into my account. I believe that this should not be possible? Like make a check that checks if the user is already logged and if they are to display an error.

Hello, Replying support requests sometimes may take even most part of work day and is highly irritating for "nowdays" full-stack developer who additionally handles after-sale support 😉 Commerce needs some better way of applying pre-defined stock action into editor. I see two possible improvments. 1) Right side panel with all actions available, full list, scroll-able with load after single click selection instead select field 2) Keyboard short-cuts configurable for every stock action. Additional, optional option per action would be to auto-submit after shortcut what saves extra step of clicking submit.

The iframe embeds are nice looking but they don't offer the same SEO value as a text link. Google follows an iframe src link but they don't pass any "rank juice" to that page. Basically, if you use use embeds for internal links you are not getting the full SEO value that is usually associated with "internal linking". IPS should offer option to Ignore Internal Links? to go along with "Automatically embed links?" It's currently an all or nothing setting. (After a considerable amount of time researching this I'm still not 100% sure but I rather be on the safe side.)
