Someone registered to my paid forum and they never paid their invoice. I have deleted their id and was left with the invoice as a result. When I saw expired invoice assigned to the guest I wanted to deleted it. It gave me an error and now I am getting the heading " A configuration or server error has occurred" and below "EX0 -something went wrong, Please try again." when going into to the "invoices" section in commerce. I opened up a ticket for it, as I found no post with similar issue. I guess the learning was to delete the invoice first and then the id. I think. Nevertheless executing "delete" button should not cause configuration issue. This is of course a bug and th…

I've noticed that in the new version of IPS it's harder to type multiple emoticons in a row like that: . And some emotional visitors of my forum used to like to type tens of smilies in a row. In IPB3 it was easy but in IPS4 this pop-up window with smilies tend to disappear too quick. As far as I understand, the easiest way is to make some custom HTML buttons with code like this: < img title=":lol:" alt=":lol:" src="xxxxxx/uploads/emoticons/default_icon_lol.gif" /> Is there any other way? For instance, to prevent the pop-up window from disappearing to quick. Thanks

hi I have mixed members some of which are "business members" and some "non-business members". Is it possible to hide a profile field for the non-business members ( namely the website URL) as they have no need for it. Thanks if you can help, or it might be a custom job.

Hi, I have recently switched over from SMF 2.0.9 to IBS Boards 3.4.8. I have IPS successfully installed, but I am having problems getting the converter installed. I have the files uploaded and unzipped in my FTP, and yet it is not showing up on the right hand side under "manage applications". Is there some trick to changing permissions that I need to do? Not sure what else would be needed for you to know to help me. I'm kinda at a dead end on this.

I am using Pages in the root, just like explained here: There is a big issue related to SEO. The system does not allow different meta tags (title, description, keywords...) to the Pages index and to Forums index. If a launch the live meta tag editor, when I edit one, the other is automated edited and vice-versa. How to solve this?

Hello Community, My registration configuration is set so that new users that register have to be approved by an Administrator first. Everytime I approve a new member he/she gets their group automatically changed from Guest to Member. I however, have content on my forum that shouldn't directly be available for them. So everytime after I approved them I also have to edit their profile and assign them a new group that has less permissions than a regular member. I call this group 'Registered Guest'. Is there a way to change the group the button assigns the user when I hit "Approve"? Thanks in advance

Appear to be having problem with DEV MODE as created a plug in (my first) following this documentation and got it to work but as soon as I change the contants.php file to come out of DEV MODE (or remove it) I am unable to access my forums, just get a 500 error saying temporary technical error If I replace the constants.php file then forum works Can someone please advise what I have done wrong as the plug in works in DEV MODE but not otherwise so am assuming there likely something else to do before coming out of DEV MODE ??

I haven't seen this mentioned on the forum or in the bugtracker in the last months so I'm curious about this issue I'm having and if a solution is planned to be released. If I choose "Prev Week" in View New Content and click on a page number I don't get returned results from that week but just the present week. I'm using these filters in View New Content: Topics Filter results by forums Weekly view (or monthly)

Hi I love the staff view link now added into 4.0 but it would be great if I didn't actually show the admin ( or at least certain of them) as many of them are developers working on the site and not for the site as someone to contact or even view. Hi When I activate the commerce app ( nexus) there are two links automatically added onto my my primary main menu, the links are store and support Is there a way to prevent this from happening please? I've got my categories within the articles set to "Post a topic to the specific forum each time a new record is added" and "Comments will be posted as replies". The post is indeed made and replies are posted in the forum. However I was expecting those comments to be visible from the article as well, but it seems that this is not the case. Is this correct?
