Hello, There's a problem in IPS4 that didn't exist in IPS3 which is that when you remove an emoticon, any post that's ever used it shows a broken image. What I want to do is to somehow find any occurrence of the emoticon code in the database and replace/remove it. Does anybody know how to do this?

Every now and again when clicking 'home' I get the following error: Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX1054I've tried to trouble shoot the error by deleting cookies and trying to be logged in or logged out (happens either way). It seems to be random and mostly on pages that have widgets assigned to them. I have block widgets, the latest post widget, whos online widget, gallery widget, and upcoming events widget on the page. When the error does occur on a single column layout page, the header box disappears and the side-bar disappears. Only the main body (which is a topic feed) appears. Hello everyone, I've contacted support back on the 12th to understand why my upgrade from version 3 to 4 corrupted over 200+ users. I have not heard from Tier 2 nor have I seen them connect to my server to "investigate" the problem. I have over 200+ users with very strange usernames. Examples are provided below. 1947_1436634761 1936_1436634760 654_1436634740 1880_1436634759The e-mail addresses associated with these accounts are also wrong. For example user 1947_1436634761 has a registered email Email@1357662615I'm hoping someone here has ran into this problem before and has a solution ?

Hello everyone! I would like to upgrade my community from IPS 3.4.8 to IPS 4 and currently working on a test environment. I successfully converted everything with no issue (thanks to this topic) and performing on the rest of forum configurations and settings when I encountered an issue regarding to the Friendly URL. I have created an additional template and applied to one set of pages that load the classifieds database. While creating new database template I am assigning to required database. Once I copy the edits I do toggle in the database from Category article to Classified template. Then change the listing, Display and Form drop down to classified templates. And it failing. I have done this exercise multiple times now and each time I create new template and apply, the front-end page disappear completely to absolute white screen. When I go into a members profile, their email address appears under Contact Information (email) Is this viewing of the email address only for Admin/Mods or is it also viewable for all members to see each others email addresses? If it's viewable for all, how can this be changed?

I recall for the RCs that there was a workaround to get your license set up on a test site. I can't seem to find that, and now what's happened is that I've set up a test install (closed to the public) using 4.0.10.2 -- can someone point me to what you're supposed to do to get the test install licensed properly?

So after waiting for 4.0.10 to come out, with its promised performance improvements, we made the plunge and upgraded our IPB 3.x forum to IPS4. From what many people said, overall performance was a lot better than on IPB 3. But we've found the exact opposite, so far, and in particular we're finding what seems to be an enormous amount of SQL queries which I simply can't understand. I often looked at the process list on our forum, and in general queries would go through in a split second -- they'd be there one second and gone the next -- and often there were fewer than a dozen queries (mostly sleeping processes) visible at a time. That's the message I get when I try to login using Chrome or Opera -- Firefox has worked fine, but I think only because I was logged in already. I have no cookie-blocking add-ons, so I don't quite understand what the issue could be. Anyone seen something like this happening with IPS 4, and know what the solution is? Thanks!
