I just upgraded IPB 4 and now the dropdown menus don't work instead it just changes the url to #elUserLink_menu. Can someone let me know how to fix this or how i can revert back the upgrade until i get a fix

Yes also in ACP I have the same problem.

I'm using the 4.0.10.2 and I think is a javascript problem. Now I have contact support. Waiting their answer

Ok navigating some of the new features of the administrative panel I found the solution.

Just go to support in acp, then enter as a keyword editor, the system automatically deletes the cache.

Without this back to work the editor that the menu!

Beautiful this new function, but a button to clear the cache could leave

Alas, don't get that far. It just dies when I go to step two. AJAX is completely broken. Anyone know any other way to clear the caches?

Unfortunately I do not know how to help you, try in case reload the files via ftp and then delete the cache. Otherwise, try clicking on immediately:
"Something is not working Correctly."

Fixed it! Thanks so much, filpi. What I did was use the Opera browser instead of Firefox, as I found it seemed to handle the Ajax problem better for some reason. It allowed me to start the support wizard and get the cache cleared.

I always use Chrome when I do these updates because the other browsers always give me problems with ajax!

For anyone else having this issue try re upload the files then if it still occurs you can try change the permissions on your datastore and uploads folder. These must remain writable. They might be set at 755 rather than 777 (this fixed my problem)
