Hi! in ipsuite is present a setting (in Advanced.. I don't remember, but exist), to make a link, just only one, in menu! (totally usefull if exist pages).. anyway, if i make a link with My root url from Here o from pages menu maker, this menu remain inactive when im in homepage. My request is if is possible to make a menu Like this: Home (pages or setting from acp - but with active function); forum; Gallery; database1; blog database2; download; etcc etcccc... thanks in advance For any reply

So I'm having trouble tacking down an issue for a member. This member seems to be the only one that is having any issues but it is more likely that she is the only one pointing it out. Now first thing is that I can't duplicate these issues and when I try to duplicate them I either can't replicate them at all or else my bugs happen differently. So far it's specific to using BBCode but things like using the URL= code she states that her cursor pops to the beginning (just after the equal sign) and then adds these spaces that she must delete. Making changes etc does the same thing, always pops her to the equal sign and adds the spaces. Also using align BBCode doesn't work whe…

I upgraded a 3.4.7 forum to the latest IPB 4 and the UI does not work the way it should. I can't close IPB's drop down menus once they're opened. Here, the menu opens when I click my name on the top right corner and closes when I click again. On my site, it does not close. The only way to get rid of it is to click on another link. I have the same problem in ACP, clicking my name opens the "Change detail/Signout menu" but then I can't close it. ACP Search gone ?? In IPB 3 there is the search box on the top right corner, you type something and brings up everything that contains the string from settings, pages, members etc. I don't have this in IPB 4, has it been re…

Hey, I'm wondering if there is a secret behind the online userlist. We noted since a switch from phpbb to ipb4 a fall of online users from 50-60 down to 20 active. After several days observing that, we added on another site a session logger where the user automatically logs in after logging to our forum. The other site displaying active sessions from the last 15 minutes and this includes the amount of online users we had previously (50-60). We also asked not to log off from the forum and simply let the session expire. How is this possible? Is there any known fact regarding this? We never used a faker for online users and won't do that just as small side information. But i…

Once you post a Youtube link in the editor and click submit, it automatically embeds the player in to the body of your post. However, the default setting has the player much to large. How can I reduce the size of the player. I'm totally loss about are there or aren't there BB codes and where to find to them.

I know that with IP Board 3.0+ you were able to select a sub-forum and make it where any post created in that sub-forum would not appear in the "Recent Topics" side-bar module. Is this no longer supported with IP Board 4.0+ as I cannot find a way to do this.

Just upgraded to 4.0.9.2 and am getting the pages up fast however looking at the bottom left it says as it seems to keep loading the page "Establishing secure connection", then it blips back and forth to "Wiating for designzshop.com" for about 10 seconds no matter what page I go to. Anyone else experience this running full https? I don't have this issue using 4.0.8 on a different site on the same server, this just happened after upgrading my theme site.

I am trying to delete the values of a custom table using the "delete()" function. I just copied the code and change it a little based on the given code in the members page. The result was, the delete animation takes place but after the redirection the supposed to be deleted table reappears.

I am moving some forums around and notice that in the ACP one of the forums have MOVING/DELETING next to it and the forum is now gone on the board. I did not delete the form. All I did was drag it to a new position. How can I get the forum back?

upgraded to IPS4 this morning now i have no access to the admin panel the username and password works fine to go into the upgrade utility but trying to access the admin panel submit the login id and password and it will just ask fro username and password again with no errors any ideas?

So i upgraded to ipb4 about 6 days ago. the background process started and was moving at what seemed a normal pace then after about 3 hours hit a point were it pretty much doesn't move at all. Over the past 6 days its moved 2 percent for the 3 bars that are moving in the background process. if i click run manually it starts to run it normally for about 2 minutes then gets stuck in some sort of loop where it just refreshes and shows the '>' symbol were it should say what it's processing. In the ACP, I have changed the search type to Sphinx. Server address is 127.0.0.1 listening on port 3313. I have taken the sphinx.conf file and placed it in the forum root directory and started sphinx: searchd --c /home/whadmin/public_html/sphinx.conf and it starts up fine. When I click "rebuild index" in the ACP I get an error "EX1064 Something went wrong. Please try again." It doesn't appear that the sphinx.conf file is complete compared with 3.4
