Hi, I can’t seem to find the settings to change a category cover image in Gallery 4.7.8. Where did they go? In some categories wether using the default theme or my own, I see an option to remove the current cover image: … but in others it’s completely blank: Thanks 😊

4.7.9 Beta-1 stripe payment refund from ACP no longer works for me. I can receive both PayPal and stripe payments. I can refund Paypal payments. However, when I submit a stripe refund using the ACP, it shows as payment refunded in the ACP. When I log in to my Stripe account it states the payment was not refunded. Can you check on your end to see if refund to stripe account is working? "This beta contains changes to the PayPal and Stripe integrations, please proceed with caution if payments are core to your community."

A user has pointed this out and I have confirmed I can repeat it. Entering something in the search box then pressing enter results in "This page isn't working" and "HTTP ERROR 500" There are two entries in the error log but they refer to repeated searches in a short time e.g. please wait 18 more seconds... PHP8, IB Version 4.7.8

I am migrating hosts, and in the process trying to complete an upgrade on the new environment before switching over where my domain is pointing. I had to manually upload files to the server via FTP. During the system/file check part of the upgrade, I receive the following and am not sure how to proceed. "If you are sure the files have been uploaded correctly, make sure the permissions are set correctly on them." All files exist on the server and were set as CHMOD 644.

When trying to upload photos I'm getting error messages that I've reached the limit even though I'm way off. Gives this error. Tried lots of different photo combinations with the same result, seems it thinks the limit is much lower than its set as.

Hello, I'm not sure when this started to happen but I have many forums and subforums where I added an image. All these forums had the forum name overlapped in the image, added by default by IPS. I'm running the last version, and now I can't see ANY of these forum titles 😞 😞 I've not touched anything in AGES. This must have happened in one of the recent updates. How can I fix this issue? What controls the font size/colour for the forum names? They For example, for the second image... See what ACP shows. I've not touched anything in ages. I need the forum names back, but no idea how to fix it or why this is happening happened 😞

Hi, I have a problem with deleting the template files that I created, when creating a new template, this directory with files is automatically added to the new one. Enabling template creator mode and physically removing this directory from the server after synchronization still works. There is no way to delete these files and folders, they are restored with every synchronization. wants to delete the __bmw and __bimmer directory and all the files in them.

Hey guys, was hoping I could get some help. I cannot access my admincp after I disabled several login groups via the admincp settings. I was getting bombarded with spam and tried to disable all groups from logging in. I think I did this a little too successfully as now I cannot login as an admin. At one point I tried to disable login from one group and it gave me a message that I couldn't disable that group because it wouldn't allow an administrator to login. Hope this makes a little bit of sense. I was wondering if I can change something in the database table that would allow me to login as an admin to the admincp or if there was another option for …

I've renewed the invision license and just switched the URL from an old one to a new one. Everything seems to be taken care of through Client Area but on the actual forum, it says that the forum license key is invalid. Please see attached.

Hello, How do I not repeat the same advertisement on page? I created 2 test ads. And I put them both on a test page Circulation is set to "Randomly select an advertisement" But unfortunately one of the ads ends up repeating itself on the same page where it was added, is there a way to prevent this from happening?

We use Invision Community to provide a forum for our members, who pay us a monthly subscription. When a member cancels their subscription, how do we 'suspend' their forum account? We don't want to delete them in case they renew their subscription in the future. But we do want to 'deactivate' their forum account, so they can't view or post in the forums, until they renew their subscription. How do we do this? (I only see options in the forum backend to 'ban' people, which sounds more extreme than what we're looking for.) Can anyone help with this please? Thank you! 😊

1. My Email SMTP Provider has notified that our email bounce rate are increasing. 2. We have received a list of bounce emails which we have verified to be from old accounts which for some reasons have abandoned their old emails. Is there any way we can en-mass turn off emails notifications ? Thank in advance.

I have noticed that IPS seems to be very overzealous on auto-embedding content as an image since the last update. This appears to be an issue on self-hosted, cloud, and even here. A link such as https://offtopic.com/ is being grabbed as an image during pasting and just showing as a broken image. This seems to be pretty common for most links. I am on Chrome via Chrome OS (fully updated) at this time and can not confirm if the problem is also on Windows as I am at work.

If you attempt to upload Media, it uploads but preview doesn't show and the Tag fails to work too. If you copy the image URL and delete the letters after the image finishes so .png - It finds it. <Code>AccessDenied</Code> <Message>Access Denied</Message>

Hi, we have an issue where spanners have managed to get through our filters and then rather than posting on the open forum of managed to post directly to the profiles of existing members. Is there any setting which would allow us to prevent that please? Ideally we would like to prevent that kind of post until the new user had chalked up a certain number of posts
