I have a question about the new Menu system in 4.1 and want to know if my menu is bugged. Whenever I try make custom menu's like this (regardless of theme) it will not put the menu items I want on the 2nd tier. So any custom menus I want MUST just be dropdown menus. Here is what I mean, I set up the menu and add submenus to the drop downs (and click publish) But then when I check the menu "Companies" there is nothing inside of it. So I have to resort to using drop downs on the top tier of the menu like this. I just don't feel that this is functioning correctly, as I have some default menus like Activity that do function correctly,…

I am hoping somebody out there has some suggestions or already has been through this type of problem and can help me figure this out... I am having trouble with a new, clean installation of 4.1. The installer checks are good, it takes my database credentials and then starts the installation and then just hangs up. No error message, nothing. My license and subsequent installer covers all components of IPB except commerce. I did try running the installer with all the components of my license being installed at once and also minimally with just the core components but either way it stalls out. It does not appear to write anything to the database as the data…

Hi guys, I am wondering why inserting a vimeo video link is not automatically displaying the video frame but keep the link? In this forum I can embed vimeo videos and it is dealing the correct way. Where can I see the default embed services?

Some advice needed! There is one thing about IPB4 that greatly concerns me and I was hoping to inquire to see if you can help me figure this out. It's been awhile since we used 3.X but the last I remembered when there were reported or approved posts, there was like a little icon at the top of the forum that let you know something was reported. As well as there were a notification that was clearly stated that told you when there were unapproved posts.... However on IPb4.x I don't see any of these visual indicators? How exactly are we supposed to know when there are unapproved posts or reported contented? I only notice usually because of…

Several users has reported this and I also experience it on my iPad but not on my computer: When I start the browser and go to my site I get an old version of the homepage (I use all activity as startpage) posts displayed are old and and after a few seconds I get the "There are 56 new Messages..." bar. And when I click it the feed gets updated, but when I close the browser and restart I see the old page again. What could be wrong? Semms like some browser cache issue, but its stange that so many users experience the same problem.

I changed the admin folder location in the security settings now there is no way to change it again or revert in the security settings as the option has disappeared Where can I reset it? Hello, Today I asked my managed dedicated hosting to install Memcached in my server, but even after installation I can't enable as caching mode via AdminCP (the box is unclickable). Maybe the host installed the wrong version ? Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

I took advantage of the Black Friday sale and added Commerce. Do I need to download the entire package and upload those files and run the updater? I am on the current version now, but Commerce is new. I don't see a way to download just that. Thanks

Hello, I'm using the latest version of invision and when I add blocks such as latest threads on the forums home it resets after a day or so and removes itself. Has this happened to anyone else. It's annoying. I removed admits temporarily to see if they were doing it but even when I was the only admin after a day or two the latest posts would disappear abd I'd have to add it again. Many thanks. Ps it's not just the latest posts, I is anything, so I could have gallery images on the side bar on the forum home and they would disappear.
