9,800 topics +/- They were archived. Ok, I disabled it and pressed the YES button to unarchive but there's no indicator anywhere on ACP of how things are going. Not a background task on dashboard or a task running. How can I know if it is REALLY unarchiving and how can I see the % unarchiving ? The guide simply repeats the description of ACP: Tells nothing.

I'm searching ACP for the uploads directory path and cannot find it anywhere. It used to be here, wasn't it? Or not at all in 4.* and I'm confused? I see there is a directory with the name "forum\uploads" on my linux server. I mean, the directory structure looks something like this: - forum --- uploads - forum\uploads This is not normal behavior. Might have been caused by my upgrading the forums on a windows machine and copying the result to a linux server. I don't know, but it's the only explanation I can think of right now. Hi, We are in the process of moving form wordpress to IPS4 and converting users in wordpress. We use a S2 membership plugin. I have used the IPS migration tool but it doesn't seem to have brought the passwords over some members we have tested and they dont work. Does anyone have experience of bringing users over with passwords from wordpress. Thanks in advance

So I'm using the featured content widget which is a little bit resource intensive. Is there any way I could add a little option in people's settings so that I can display an alternative feed? Basically I'd have the featured content there by default, but if they choose the "Show me less intensive resources." option or something, they'd get shown a basic topics feed which would have the same info (w/ the featured content I'm just putting nice images into the slideshow really). I've just had a few people saying page load times have dramatically increased and would like to give them the option to load 'less intensive resources' so to speak. I can probably figur…

Anyone have a solution to the current Commerce conversion rates. I currently use the Points Economy along with commerce for one product I have. I want 1 USD to equal 1000 Points. So for example a $10 item would cost 10,000 points but that doesn't seem to work. To make it work I have to enter in USD * 10000 to get the conversion to work properly. I also noticed today that when someone used their points to purchase a item that should have cost 15,000 points, they were only debited 10,000 points. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Not sure if I'm describing this correctly. I though years ago we had an option in ACP to set up auto tasks for moderation ( I never needed them before now). Like if you had someone posted something in the wrong area, you could move it with the option of using a template that posted something to the effect that you moved it and why. Do we have that or was/is it a plugin now. I'm having trouble locating it in the marketplace or in the ACP. Thanks,

I've tried, tried, tried, but everytime it fails: upgrading 3.4 to 4.1 I already tried to upgrade to 3.4.9 (which works but breaks some stuff) and then to 4.1.11, but it fails on an error that should have been solved since 4.0.13 Also the conversion to UTF8mb4 broke a lot of stuff Here's the story: 1st part of the upgrade works fine, but then error after error: After the 3rd error I can't continue. The conversion to UTF8mb4 lead to questionmark Unicode characters, I can't fix them. I do have a backup of the old, unconverted database but I will miss a week of posts when I go back. Hey, So I have created some limited admin groups on my forum. I want them to be able to view staff notes in the commerce / support tickets but only those in the administrators group seem to be able to view them. My created admin groups even with all permissions given seem to never be able to view staff notes? They can see their own staff notes but not other admins. Any suggestions?

In 3.4.x when you went into the logs for moderators you could see the post number they deleted or edited. In the new ACP 4.1.10 I don't see where you can see that any longer. Is there someway to view that? We used to do a contest on who could guess the number of posts made since creation of the site. Now all I can find are the standard current post count from the forum stats mod. We have had around 300,000. We delete very old posts regarding trivial no informational games so the actual total all time post count was different on 3.4.x but all I can verify is what shows in the forum stats right now 98,000+ Anyway to find out like we used to what the total amount of pos…

Ive submitted a ticket to Support on the following: I ran a demo of IPS Board a few months back and noticed that I got this error when trying to upload photos to a Reply/Post from my iPhone 5s: "There was a problem processing the uploaded file.-200". The salesperson assured me this problem would be corrected on a new Upgrade. Ive since purchased IPS Board and had a major Conversion done of my old board and am up to date with all Upgrades. This problem persists. I cant and Members cant upload photos to the board via iPhone (not sure about Android). I am running a medical site with IPB. However google was indexing all the profile photos. Then I moved all the profile photos to uploads/profiles folder and added noindex for images in the robots.txt. That removed most of the images from google. But not all. IPB staff advises to add noindex to all upload folder, while doing that will remove lots of images that bring traffic to my site. Please advise me an effective way to do that.

I've bought a custom theme from ipsfocus, but everytime I update the theme, it resets everything to default so I have to spend 5 mins changing everything again. I asked on their forum here: http://www.ipsfocus.com/forums/topic/10459-when-updating-theme-it-resets-it-to-default/ But the "root admin" was unsure how this works. Is it possible to upload an update to a theme without losing all your custom edits to the theme? Thanks in advance.

Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to keep the skin settings intact when updating to the latest version of a skin? Whenever we try, the custom css all stays in place, but any additional settings set in the skin get reset to their defaults. Thanks

I'm getting a CSRF error since upgrading to 4.1.11 in the Calendar. More specifically this pops up when someone tries to "Download Guest List" It doesn't seem to occur anywhere else. I've tried support tool with no luck. All of my themes are up-to-date 4.1.11 Happens on IPS default theme as well. Screen shot: Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know if you have a subscription on a master IPS community whether that subscription/change will also work on the slave community? For example Site 1 has subscriptions but Site 2 is just a simple Pages site. Site 1 is the master. Site 2 the slave. When you subscribe to Site 1 does it update Site 2 or just Site 1?
