Apfelstrudel
You don't need to add a goal code to ipb. Just create a GA goal with following parameters: Goal URL: /forum/register/?do=validating Step 1 URL: /forum/register/ If you also want to track validated members use: Goal URL: /forum/register/?do=validate Step 1 URL: /forum/register/ Step 2 URL: /forum/register/?do=validating That's how I do it. Nathan Explosion
All assuming you've already put the google analytics tracking code in to the google analytics tracking code box in the ACP, which is found by typing google in to the search and clicking the relevant result. It's not working for me, because when somebody register - his URL path is just /register/

EricT
Hi, Is it working for you @Apfelstrudel ? I don't understand why this solution is not working at all on my site.
Apfelstrudel
Yes, it is. But goal 2 of my examples works not in 100% of the cases. I think the problem is that the validating page doesn't run the necessary GA code before it does the page redirect. Goal 1 works perfectly.
