I'm slight confused the different between some of the fields in meta settings, wondering if someone could clarify the differences between a couple of things? I've already set the page title as you can see. In the next section what is og:site_name and where is it displayed? also we have an og:description. How is that different to the description in the drop down box? Thanks

Hey guys, I've noticed that sometimes the notification bar you get, when there is an upgrade to the suite available, is missing. I only get the email that I can upgrade the suite. Also there is no hint in the ACP -> Dashboard. Therefore I cannot upgrade within the suite. Only after running Support -> "something isn't working" I get the hint that I am not running the latest version within the regular checks. After that I have the notification bar on the front-end and the back-end. Does anybody have similar problems? I don't want to nag support with it if it is not necessary. Is it a default setting that members can't mass move, edit, or delete images in their galleries? For instance, as Admin, I can select many images at once and mass edit. Can this be turned on for members to use for their own images?

I promoted a post via twitter, and it was put in the "Our Picks" section. Now I have unpromoted it, but it still remains under Our Picks. I cannot find any way to remove it, unless I delete the post.

I'm working on a small application which will a) Allow those in a moderation usergroup to move new (moderated) members into the normal (unmoderated) usergroup. b) Send a notification I've got a) working smoothly. I've figured out how to send the notifications I want, but only to one person. $notification->recipients->attach( \IPS\Member::load(1) ); I want to send to an entire usergroup. I can see how I can check an individual member against a usergroup with ->inGroup. Hello I'm not very tech smart but wondering if there is an easy way to wrap (?) my forum. I do not want the blue header and menu to stretch across the screen but rather be enclosed within the page. Gosh, I hope I'm explaining myself clearly given my limited tech terminology. When using xf UI themes there was an option to "wrap" the theme so I'm guessing the term is wrap is correct. Hello, I just migrate my forum from vb3.8 to IPS4. In the old forum I had vbSEO installed. Now I would like to adjust the rewrite rules in ISP4 so they match the old ones. Is there a way to export and import furl settings? In the file system I found applications/forums/data/furl.json But the changes that I made in the backend were not saved in the json file!? In the database, unfortunately, I could not find furl records too. I hope this is possible, because I do not want to enter every single rewriting setting in the produktic environment again P.S. This is my first post and I would like to add that I find IPS4 pretty cool up to now!

Hello, after using Mass PM from marketplace, i have tried to remove some pms to reduce sql size. My question is when a pm is created , what is changed in DB? Has anyone noticed that even if you delete content, the # of posts/topics in the forum statistics block stays the same? I've even gone to the Moderator CP to permanently delete "deleted content", cleared my browser cache and refreshed the site. Seems odd.

I'm working on some very basic plugins - the current one allows a certain usergroup to promote new members out of a moderated usergroup into the normal unmoderated group. I'd like to be sending out notifications when this happens. However, the documentation for plugins doesn't refer to notifications. Can I send notifications out with a code hook extending existing notification classes? What's the best way to do this? I can see applications can send notifications out, but I've only just started looking at plugins...

Hello, I wonder if there is an application / built in support for the following use case: We got a partner website redirecting traffic to our forum registration. On the partner's website they will set a cookie and in order to track how many (and especially what users) are coming from our partner's website we want to check for the set cookie on registration. If it sets we want to add some sort of identifier to the user's profile in the database so that we could potentially select all users acquired through our partner. In version 4.2.5 I notice a strange issue with Cover photo. It exists both in profile and in clubs.It is also available in the default theme. Essence of the issue - when loading site, images cover photo load well between 2nd and 3rd second. Then, for about 200 milliseconds, these images disappear and only a dark background is displayed. After these 200 milliseconds - images appear again and everything is fine. It has the effect of blinking images. See attached screenshot. So I was just wondering why when I look at my sitemap there are no Topics listed in there but on IPB official sitemap there are? https://community.invisionpower.com/sitemap.php Now I am just using the "Recommended settings" function of the sitemap. I have went and looked at each forum and they are all set to "1". So why when using the default setting are topics not added? Can anyone explain?
