Think I am screwing up here and missing something.... Creating a database driven website. (localhost) [EXAMPLE] Created a site form First Name, Last Name, Address1, Address2, State and Zip code. Then created the database "Test1" table "Profile". I then inserted name1, name2, address1, address2, state, and zip..... Where I am confused is linking the database and page to connect?

I just upgraded a community from 3.4 to 4.2. However, I did it on a subdomain upgrade.mydomain.com. Then I changed it to forums.mydomain.com (and updated the config file accordingly). However, the fonts loaded by the CSS files have a hardcoded URL towards `upgrade.mydomain.com`. So they do not load. I traced back that these links are in: upload/css_build_1/*****.css (many files) upload/css_build_2/*****.css (many files) upload/css_build_3/*****.css (many files) How do I rebuild these files? I couldn't find any possible way... I can replace them manually but it doesn't feel right - they look generated.

I have multiple calendars splitting events nationwide different events are shown on different pages, however today I noticed when i dragged a new upcoming events into a new page from the block manager I can no longer select the calendar I wish to show the events from whatever I try I cannot scroll through the calendars to choose the correct calendar, can anyone throw any light on this as its worked fine previously i recently applied the upgrade but cannot recall how long ago it was since i last dropped in this feature so cannot say if this is connected. Hey Invisionerz, I have a site that has a Downloads and every time I upload maybe anything bigger than a maybe 2 MB. My PHP.ini does say I have "post_max_size = 100M" and "upload_max_filesize = 100M". I've reported these to IPB but posting here in case anybody else gets user reports of search issues and goes looking for answers. Since upgrading to 4.2.6 searching private messages is broken - I'm seeing the same issue on the IPB forum as well so I don't think it's a specific issue with us. Also, when searching the forum, if you change the sort by to 'Relevancy' it generates an error - I think this is connected with the private message searching above and I have also replicated that on this forum. Hopefully it will be an easy fix.

Hello, We used IPBWI for a while to have SSO between IPB and WordPress. Now we removed it as we no longer need it but it looks like IPB is still trying to handle slaves. Whenever a user logs in this message is displayed in the browser. There was an error processing your login request at one of the sites in our network. How can I use "Account Credit" as a primary payment method. As it stands, I need to have at least 1 active payment method to checkout. Instead I would like to just use Account Credit as the primary payment method, if the user does not have enough Account Credit it just displays an error of choice. Thanks. Hello, I'm wondering if there's a way to enable Twitter or Facebook login handlers without creating a new account when people do so. If you aren't aware, the "Scunthorpe" problem is an issue that computers using word filters have with certain legitimate words, that get blocked. Scunthorpe is a location in England, but it also contains a (for most parts of the world that aren't Australia and some of England) a highly offensive swearword. Invision has a word filter. Now my issue isn't specifically with Scunthorpe, but it is football related. As you can see from the signature my website is based around a football team. I am trying to setup the following scenario. We have a "VIP package" that users can buy that is a subscription plan that gives them some extra benefits in our community. As for pricing, I want it to be "x" for the first year, but a discounted amount for the following years. Questions: 1. I would like to clear out our member list by removing those who haven't logged in for X days. Should be simple enough? I can't find a reliable way of doing it. I understand that the "Last Visited" date is the last time they logged in. I have a member who's last visited date 22nd December 2016, so If I cleared out everyone who hadn't visited for six months, he'd be gone. But he reacted to a post this month and posted last month so clearly HAS visited more recently than 22nd December 2016! Any suggestions as to how I do this please? Many thanks Bill

Hello, I have to make the registration process to the community subordinate to the insertion of an alphanumeric code. The idea is that an aspiring new user first enter one of these codes: the system should check if the code is valid (and unused) comparing it with a stored list and finally proceed with registration (only if the verification were successful). Any ideas on how to do that with IPS? Or if a suitable plugin already exist? Thank you all, Ric.

Hi, We've built a website using IPB4 but whenever we try to add a link to one of our web pages to a LinkedIn post it doesn't generate a preview of the page - we just get a message saying "Cannot display preview. You can post as is or try another link." Does anyone know what might be causing this? The page I want to promote doesn't have any restricted permissions. I'm wondering if it might be a PHP or coding issue. Samantha

Hi, Our users are complaining that they can't find where the expiration date of their current package bought using Commerce (Nexus) is located, and some suggested adding this information in a more prominent location at the front-end. For example, at their mini profile near all their posts. Is there an easy way to do that? Thanks.

I seem to have issue with Commerce. This has started happening when I have upgraded to the 4.2's I have attached a screenshot that a member posted. I have seen quite a few of these and had many complaints about members not being able to pay due to an error with their address. But when i test this address it works for me. It works for some and not others. We have lost loads of business because of it and I had to set up temporary forms and manually add them. I have 5 set ups of Commerce, not all of them do it, but when I look at the set ups of them all they are identical. So, any ideas what could cause this issue? it seems to me that paypal are rejecti…
