Hello, The Terms & Privacy Policy link does not appear on the footer, is there a setting I missed? The board is configured as follows. I can see this in the footer: {{if \IPS\Settings::i()->privacy_type != "none"}} <li><a href='{{if \IPS\Settings::i()->privacy_type == "internal"}}{url="app=core&module=system&controller=privacy" seoTemplate="privacy"}{{else}}{setting="privacy_link"}{{endif}}'>{lang="privacy"}</a></li> {{endif}} So I guess there is a way to set this privacy_type elsewhere?

Hi guys, Been stuck on this outdated version of IPS for a while because our host kept saying they'd upgrade PHP but never did. Transferred the site over to the a new server host, got everything running, then tried to update it via the admin CP. Unfortunately I got this weird error during the upgrade and now I get it every time I try to log into the CP. I have a support ticket open but they are taking a really long time (we don't have priority support). I figured it was worth a shot posting here, maybe someone could point me in the right direction. at the bottom of members > groups > (GROUP NAME HERE) > Social tab, it says "If you have enabled integration with Facebook and/or Twitter, users can import statuses from these services." Where is the facebook and twitter status integration? Searched all over but couldn't find instructions for it.

In IPS 3, there was a tool where you could use the admin web UI to bulk import files from a directory. Downloads > Tools > Bulk Import From Directory Was that removed in IPS4? If so, please bring it back, and soon. I routinely import large amounts of files. Are there alternative ways to do this in IPS 4 besides manually filling out forms?

Dear Community, I've got a problem on my Forum with this device. In detail I can do the "Login" into the Forum and see all the "Discussions" and I can also create a "Discussion" but I can't answer them. I've tried with many browsers (Safari, Chrome, Dolphin, Opera, iBrowser) but it doesn't worked. Another problem is also that when I try to "Logout" I've to tap several times on the corner-right "Menu" before its opening. Can you help me please? It's urgent! Thanks in advance.

I'm having the hardest time getting my email configured. I was told IPB doesn't work with yahoo mail, so I created a gmail account for purposes of this IPB. When I try to configure the basic email, it gives me error after error. If I use the PHP option, some mail goes through, but it is delayed by hours even days, or it doesn't go through at all. Hi, I am trying to configure the email settings for G Suite Gmail for business to handle my forum emails. I have tried the smtp setting sent to me by Google but it doesn't seem to be working. smtp.gmail.com I tried ssl, I tried tsl different port numbers etc. Any ideas what the connection issue might be? Hi, Does anyone have a way to limit the number of topics that can be created during a 24 hour period? Max items of content (posts, comments, etc.) is available as a limiting tool for number of content, but is it possible to specifically limit just topic creations? Also what time interval does the content limiting use? Is it daily based on time stamp or is it 24 hours from the first post in chain?

I have a drop down menu, using the IPS drop down menu feature. It goes like this and my question is, how do I make the main and sub menu's clickable when they are set to be a drop down menu (PS, CJ Menu does not work for the theme I am using). I'd like to be able to remove all activity from guest visitors. I am told this is only possible by modifying the theme directly, which I'm finding hard to be believe. I would prefer to remove specific activity from a few of the things that are really for member eyes only, but I would take turning off activity for guests for all things if it meant more privacy. Anyone have a solution out there?

Despite a reasonably active Board I rarely Ban Members. And I haven't since converting to IPB. Typically, removing Posting Priviliges and sometimes disabling Messaging capability sends a strong enough message. Ive noticed when deciding to Ban a Member you are given a choice of time frame for Ban or Indefinitely, and can move them to a different group. The last field shows IPS addresses. The first choice is 0 items and then a list of ISP addresses. If a long term Member as in many years that list of ISP addresses can be extremely long, I lost count at over 100 addresses for a particular Member. Question: Can you leave it at 0 items and still successfully Ban that…

Looking for a solution for banner ads... adsense responsive ads don't pay hardly anything (they are lame) and the 728x90 ads hold the window open on mobile and mess up the mobile menu slide out making it hard to sign in etc.. Is there something simple I can do to show a different size ads on mobile and still have the big one for desktop or do I need to write a ton of code for this? Thanks...

Do we have access to the filesystem to be able to add apple touch icons in the cloud hosted IP.Board? If not, is it possible to do this some other way? I've just become an admin on a forum to assist them with theme development/customization/etc. and have not yet used the cloud version and the owner doesn't seem to know the answer.
