Hello, I have reCaptcha 1 with default public/private keys configured for guest posting. It used to work fine but now it is not working. The captcha is not shown and when trying to post it shows an error. Anybody knows why this happens ? Thanks.

Hello all! I've been searching around a bit, but can't seem to find a way to view statistics per category or per forum/subforum. The statistics and graphs built in to 4.2.7 otherwise work just fine for me, I just want to be able to filter certain items from its count to check only the Wishlist subforum activity for instance. I am fairly sure this can't be done out of the box but if anyone knows of a plugin or other extension that will allow something like this, I would be most grateful for a link. Thank you!

I'm building a template for my database and am currently customising the listing template. I want it to be similar to the groups directory, in that I would like the list of records to show the featured ones in one table, rather than list them with the other records. I know how to identify whether my category has any rows: {{if count($rows)}} With that, I would normally call the recordRow template. I need to keep that as it is but have another line which means "if there are any rows which are featured". That's where the problem lies. If I could work that out, I'd run a foreach loop for those records to generate a list of them. This leads me on to a se…

is there any way to hide an advertisement placement when a user is visiting on a mobile device? I have an ad block with two banners in it, so the "smaller version" option won't work, but the banners are too wide for mobile users and are breaking the mobile layout

I am moving my site from Hostgator to Amazon AWS. I got the EC2 instance setup with apache, mysql, php 7 and phpmyadmin and right now I don't have DNS set up for this site so I am using the IP for now until I get everything working like it should for a smooth transition. I edited the conf_global.php file with the ip address in the url. I backed up all files for my IPB install, dumped the database via phpyadmin and transfered everything over. I chmod 777 all the folders that needed to be and it checks out in the support tool that those folders are writable. However none of the themes will load at all. Hello All, After recently upgrading to 4.2.7, we are experiencing issues with posts and messages. 1) When a user types up a response in a forum and clicks "submit reply", it does reply, but the submit reply dialogue window stays open with the text that the user typed. They think that the reply wasn't uploaded, so they click "submit reply" again. We are seeing a lot of double posts because of this. We see this on all of our skins. 2) When a user types a private message to a user, we see the same issue as number 1 above. Hello! I've been searching for information or add-ons that control the members birth date. Age is an integral part of an adult website. Allowing an user to change their birthday translates to that person being 50 one day and 21 the next. Of course, I realize that as long as they enter a birthday over 18 years of age at registration, does it really matter, without proper validation? No. But, in an attempt to maintain continuity and limit fraud....is there a way? I would like to display age on the profile, but the only way that the date can be altered is from the ACP. Hello! We are having a problem with people coming back after they are banned, or having multiple accounts in violation of our TOU. We have the CJ Duplicate Member logger running already, but it's not catching everyone (from what I can tell, it doesn't work cross browser or after a cache / cookie clear). Does anyone have any good sql queries or tools or tips they are using to combat this problem?

I have no idea how I did this, but for some reason I've completely lost the Widget/Block arrow that is normally on the left hand side of the index of the forums. I assume it's likely due to permissions, but I can't see any area in which I would have changed this. Is anyone aware of the settings to re-enable Many thanks!

Hi, I updated my default email template to test it with a wider image than my usual logo, based on my community's background header image which is 1920px by 200px, but a separate version with the name of the site included in the image instead of it being a separate logo like the header arrangement. The standard one bugged me as it never filled the width of the email header. I've tried setting the CSS to Background-size property to cover. In the Gmail App it now shows roughly just the first third (the left part of rectangular image) and you have to scroll sideways left to see the rest of the image off-screen over to the right. We have a lot of players tracked with individual forum threads. Creating a database for the players I had the DB create a forum topic. Trying to merge the old thread and the new one does not seem to work. I can merge other threads fine. Any ideas?

I would like to globally move all Pages field descriptions below the field title in record forms. Empirical evidence has shown me that people filling out forms DO NOT READ the description *below* the field entry. I would like them to see the clarifying information from descriptions before they enter the field data. Descriptions are frequently used for qualifiers, examples, limits, etc for the data to be entered. I don't find it sensible to tell people what they *should have* put in a field *after* they have entered something and moved on. Experience shows me that many skip over it and move on to the next field. My hacky workaround has been to mangle the field…
