Hi Victor,
Our converter will already redirect vB Blog /entries/x URLs, all you would need to do is make sure those requests are redirected into your Invision Community platform i.e redirect yourdomain.com/blogs/entries/x-title to yourdomain.com/forums/entries/0-title our converter will automatically see this and redirect the request from there.
We don't redirect article paths because they can greatly differ from one vB install to another and may clash with our own Pages URLs.
The redirect rules are in the converter PHP files themselves /applications/converter/sources/Software/Blog/Vbulletin.php -> checkRedirects()
Thanks!

You'll need to submit a ticket for assistance.

You could still upgrade your resource without submitting it as a new one if you prefer, see this contributors topic for more info: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/457670-moving-from-a-plugin-to-an-application/
Let us know via that topic if you have any questions.

@Martin A. I just tried to update to version 1.0.4 and as soon as I hit install, it stripped all the CSS from my ACP! Not sure what to do now??
Run the support tool to fix and then apply the patch to prevent this occurring 🙂

You can't match by querystring like that (the things after the ? in the URL) for a location block in nginx. In our testing, we left basic authentication on and did not have issues with Marketplace. Not sure if something has changed with 4.5.3 making that a prerequisite.
I was told the same thing by support at one point, yet there appeared to be no actual requirement for removing basic auth.
We did have the /api url open though....
Good to know, I don't use Nginx personally.
This is only for the initial login process, other Marketplace actions will work fine before a password prompt.

I'm not familiar with Plesk so I'm unsure if you can edit the .htaccess file (although, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to). You can use something like this to exclude a path from the password requirement - https://stackoverflow.com/a/41289289
You would need to exclude
/index.php?app=core&module=system&controller=marketplace
Alternatively, you could set the test community offline instead of using a password prompt, it pretty much does the same thing.
Don't forget though, our license terms do provide allowance for one test installation 😉
QuoteYou may install and test one additional instance of the Software for the purpose of development and testing. This installation must be and remain isolated and inaccessible to the general public at all times.

I don't see the update for 4.5 this was made for that version?
Moods is a pay application xD
48 minutes ago, Joey_M said:Neither do I, this update which is requiring approval by IPS seems to be taking a very long time. 😕
Badges is available for 4.5, but Moods hasn't been resubmitted yet after being rejected a few weeks ago.

@Daniel F & @Stuart Silvester Do any of you guys have an idea what's wrong with @MrUtOpiK's installation?
@MrUtOpiK I think you may have to submit a support ticket to IPS for this.
I suspect that @MrUtOpiK has completed the Marketplace setup process and told the system that his Member Map application is Community Map. We'll need a ticket submitting in any case.

Hi Ben,
This is an issue with your ImageMagick installation, you should ask your server administrator/webhost to look into that for you.
-
We do have a "what's new" feature that we've used in the past. It will show up again in 4.5.3 however at this time it doesn't go into as much depth as you are suggesting.

I do not want to see my front-end changes in the AdminCP,
If this is happening, I would consider it a bug. The AdminCP should not inherit any design or colors from another theme.
Please submit a ticket and we'll take a closer look

Stuart, will categories in Wordpress migrate into Pages and create same categories there? And will WP users be migrated into IPB? I'm worried they may overwrite what's already in IPB.
Thanks for your help!
Yes, you can find out about what the converter supports here: https://invisioncommunity.com/services/migrate/#elSelectPlatform (select WordPress in the dropdown).
If the conversion process encounters two users for the same person (based on email address) those accounts will be merged, it will not overwrite the existing account.
-
Yes, it should. The WordPress database doesn't change too often, so the converter is quite stable across the many WordPress versions.

That does not look right, if you hard refresh your web browser, does it fix it?
Please submit a ticket regardless, we'll want to have a look at this.

Hi,
Associating plugins with the Marketplace won't affect the ability to enable/disable/uninstall them, it sounds like something different may be going on if they're all saying 'locked'.
Are you using an administrator account that doesn't have full unrestricted access? -- You can check this in AdminCP > Members > Staff > Administrators

This would be a good example of a guidelines violation, point 1.1 - https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/submission-guidelines/
I'm afraid, It isn't something we can allow.

Another suggestion for the ACP Marketplace, please have the error message that pops us when trying to upgrade be more specific when it's time to renew. I tried to upgrade an app and see this when I click Install Upgrade, then I click Agree & Proceed:
Then I need to leave my ACP, come here, pay the renewal fee, leave here, go back to my ACP and try again.
Could be a little smoother. 🙂
I have this on my list of things to improve 👍

What will have happened here is that the database dump was generated with the wrong character set (one that isn't utf8mb4). This will have corrupted the 4-byte characters in the data, which is why you see a question mark instead.
There isn't any way to fix this except for reverting to an earlier backup where the characters are not corrupt. However, due to the nature of this, it's likely that your backups may also have the same issue.

Hi,
I wanted to clarify the process for any critical updates you may need to make that may potentially need a higher priority when it comes to a review. A critical issue would be something that causes a large impacting issue to your resource, such as a fatal error that prevents it from working.
- Submit the new version of your resource with only the fix for the issue, no other bug fixes or enhancements.
- Specify in the change log what the fix is for (so it's obvious to us what you are fixing).
- Submit a support ticket asking for an expedited review.
Asking for an expedited review doesn't guarantee we'll be able to do it, but we'll try our best where possible.
Thank you!
Stuart

87% of current pending reviews were submitted either yesterday or today (i.e. in around the last 24 hours), there are three pending reviews that are taking longer than usual for various reasons.
Reviews are definitely not slow at the moment, but what you may be seeing is a developer saying their resource is pending review and then their submission being rejected. In this situation it may look like the reviews are taking longer than they really are, but we're waiting for the developer to submit a fixed version in that case, so we can review it again.

I just purchased the page enhancement for the Commerce section of my software. After buying it, I clicked 'Install' and the pop up window told me I need version 4.5. My version is 4.4.10.
How do I upgrade to 4.5?
KL
If you scroll down on the Marketplace, you can select a previous version, if you find the last release before the 4.5 version was released, you will be able to download it.

Unfortunately, just because it has been part of your resource for a while doesn't mean it's the right way to do it. Re-using a core editor location for other things can cause issues that are really difficult to diagnose. Such as (but not including) rebuild issues, attachments and content mysteriously disappearing. It does mean that your plugin would need to become an application, which is a bit more involved than a simple update, but if you need any pointers or advice please feel free to post in our contributors section.
