Myself and my co-admin keep getting the "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" when editing some PMs and topics which include images, and it does disconnect my board for several minutes at a time. I did a quick Google search, and it brought it back to Chrome, and I did try and troubleshoot using their suggestions, however, none are working. Is this something to do with IPS, or would it be my host? We are getting this issue:

Hi all, I have my live dev build running on a subdomain. I just noticed this morning there are 12 guests browsing the dev build. I'm wondering what is the recommended way to prevent other people from accessing it is. I have the Guests' group setting "can access site" turned to off, along with all groups other than admins. I have the site set to offline. Somehow they're still browsing, as shown in the admin cp, the "Whos Online" widget, and the Online Users page. Unfortunately WayBackMachine apparently allows access to an older version of the dev version. If they were browsing an archived version of the dev version, would it show up in those places as them c…

Hey guys, where do I find instructions how to move the board to a new server ? Do you just upload the files to the new server and setup a database with the same name ? Is there a CHMOD list for the different directories ? I have a VPN that I can manage though WHM. I tried to disable the listed dangerous functions, but it didn't seem to work. I went to cPanel --> MultiPHP INI Editor --> Editor Mode --> Home Directory and added this to the bottom: disable_functions = exec, system, passthru, popen, proc_open, shell_exec Then back to WHM --> Terminal --> service httpd restart These functions still are listed as enabled. I'm sure I did something wrong, suggestions?

Sendfile is an IPS plugin that implements server X-Sendfile support into the software suite. Hello, i've added the plugin that allows fontawesome icons in HTML. But when i try to add font awesome icons in the blog section or in a regular forum thread it doesn't work. Even when you go into the 'code' part and paste it there. It removes the code and doesnt display. Any fix or how can i make this work?

I have been using CentOS since last 5-6 years and have no problem or preference over it. I understand that moving forward my only choice is CentOS 7 and that too for next 3-4 year of EOL. What are the other possible stable choices out there on which I can run IPS site? Is there any Linux server OS that comes with GUI panel to manage server? Hello, I've been advised to use SMTP instead of PHP to send emails, in the ACP (system, email settings). Can you give me a few hints about the way it should be configured ? As we are getting busy and at times our current server screaming for resources. So we plan to shift to a new server and wish to split entire IPB (single site) load into 1) web server and 2) mail server. Appreciate if someone can guide on how to tell IPB core to use different mail server on different IP and domain name? Also if some one has other idea or experience to handle load, will be highly appreciable. Thanks. Web server load: 1000 unique / day (10-15K pageviews /day) Mail server load: 3k - 6k email / day - just IPB notifications, no newsletter, no spamming.

I am getting this error when I try to get an access_token from the IPS oAuth server: { "name": "AuthorizationError", "code": "invalid_scope", "status": 500 } I didn't find any official documentation on this and it would be great if someone gave me the link. Hey all, recently have been getting a lot of the following error: Error: Call to undefined method stdClass::language() (0) #0 /home/vms/ipb/html/live/system/Dispatcher/Admin.php(93): IPS\Dispatcher\_Standard::baseJs() #1 /home/vms/ipb/html/live/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(103): IPS\Dispatcher\_Admin->init() #2 /home/vms/ipb/html/live/admin/index.php(14): IPS\_Dispatcher::i() #3 {main} This seems to be resolved by restarting php-fpm however am not sure why its happening now all of a sudden. Hello, I seem to be encountering issues when logging into my community's admin control panel. This issue is intermittent and I'm not entirely certain what could be causing it. Sometimes I have to log in 4-5 times to the AdminCP before it will log me in. The issue seems to be because of the ref= query parameter containing the adsess= parameter when accessed. I think a way to replicate it is to: 1. log into the admin CP and navigate to some portion of the adminCP (for example users) 2. Browse the community and click the AdminCP button (this creates a new admin session) 3. Go back to the first tab that had the original admin session and try to perform an action.…
