In topic view there is "Show moderation tool" link: I really see no reason why that section is not simply expanded by default: What does it really do? Saving a space of one tiny line?

trillian (astra) would be a useful addition as trillian users often encapsulate a lot of other IM programs under their account.

For quite a while now we've been testing the new Android App beta version. As it is now it does not seem to provide anything that isn't already in the mobile skin, and as such we don't understand the point of making the app. Who is going to waste limited memory resources on a mobile phone for an app that doesn't provide any functionality other than what exist in the mobile browser skin already. We would very much like to see at least basic moderator functions such as topic and post management built into the app.

Using search... Let's say I'm on a main page and I want to search for "something" in IPS Marketplace. I type "something" then I open drop down menu. At this moment "Forums" are checkmarked. When I change it to IPS Marketplace I'd expect drop down menu to close. It doesn't. I see no reason for it to hang down there when I made my selection already.

I have been an IPS Customer for about 6 years and I don't recollect ever taking the time to say "Thank You!" so here is a long overdue... Thank you! I've put together a short list of things that I think make IPS and the IPS Community stand out:- Product Set The 3.2 product set is quite simply amazing, it was difficult to think back when I was installing version 1.2 that things would come along so far in such a short time. Great Team, Great Product Set, Keep up the hard work! Support - Always timely - I don't recollect having to wait long for an informed response - Excellent Knowledge - It's always a pleasure to deal with someone who knows what they are talking ab…

http://community.inv...725#entry117725 Give it back? this was useful to both the modders here AND your customers..... at least some reasoning behind Nuking it? its NOT like upgrading the templates and letting us do the work of fixing the record content was THAT hard.... http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/custom_services.html well, at least we KNOW the board is 404'ing proper again :P

I was thinking about this. In ACP we should have options what should happens with deleted topics, entries, photos etc. Now when moderator will delete topic, guest gets 404 error. In ACP we could have option that deleted things would be redirected to board index. When I click on link which belongs to deleted topic I should be redirected to board index rather than get 404 error.

A lot of people nowadays are using forum software to replace and enhance functionality from things such as Yahoo groups, which are becoming more archaic as time moves on. One way to ease the pain of migration and to much improve functionality from the users perspective would be for the board to periodically parse a pop3 box (of your creating), and create a thread or add to a thread via incoming email. A bonus would be to be able to do things the other way round too, which would add full interactivity between boards and make migration from yahoo to ip.board a reality. None of your competitors offer this (there was a Mod for vb, however it performed very poorly and nev…

Hi, I'm making a hook and I see no way to add a new input box inside the fieldset for the fast reply controls. Could this be done? Or is there another way to achieve adding an input box there with a hook? Want to keep template edits to a minimum and the hook also require some setting checking to check if it can be displayed. edit: and I want a hook point in front of the reply button on the full reply page. (postFormTemplate)

Things have been fairly positive from my members on the switch. The iPhone and Blackberry users aren't as happy. I don't use either product, nor do I develop or know what is in development for these phones, so I don't know what advice/info to provide them.

This thing is glitchy as hell. I've tried it on Chrome and Firefox on IPB 3.2.1, and most of the major issues haven't disappeared in 3.2.2. I'm not sure why it's listed as "beta" because it looks more like an "alpha" to me atm, and possibly should not have even been added in yet. Among the many bugs/issues are the following: - the color slider doesn't slide properly (e.g. simply attempting to move the circle thing to choose a different color will completely alter the hue) - the color picker or other tools often get glued to "on" mode, rendering the VSE virtually unusable until re-launched or reloaded - colors and/or color previews often don't update after selecting…

I really like the idea behind arranging emoticons in 3.2. :) With that being said, importing new emoticons one at a time takes too long when in previous versions you simply clicked on the ones that you wanted and clicked important to do it all in one shot. I hope that I am doing something wrong here, because this is way too inefficient.

Does anyone know why the "Start New Topic" button was removed from the topic view? I actually found it very useful when I needed to post new topics two at a time or three at a time.

In this file could be included apps which we have installed. So now there is only board, but could be there blogs, gallery, calendar etc. In ACP I should have option which apps I want to have included (or should be based on permissions, in case when somebody has blogs only for registered members, blogs shouldn't be included).

I was wondering if there was any chance this decision will be reversed. There are many reasons direct checkout works better than a cart for subscriptions (especially recurring), as noted [url=". If the decision is final I will just hope that per-product multiple billing options (including recurring) are added to Nexus, as suggested [url=". Thanks

The IP. Chat text editor are not WYSIWYG and only have the basic customizations: Bold, Italic, Underline, Smiley and Links. I think the IP.Chat should use the CKEditor (IPB 3.2 text editor) instead.

Hello! Out of all the IP.Board applications, I'd argue that my community uses IP.Chat far more than any of the others. And so far, our experience has been great! Well, mostly. I do have a few suggestions: 1. Moderation Hierarchy - Currently, there are two levels of moderation on IP.Chat: either you're a mod, or you're not a mod. If you're a mod, you instantly get the ability to ban or unban members - even other mods. This means that my regular moderators can kick or even ban me, an admin. More customizable moderation settings would be extremely helpful, including the ability to be unkickable, unbannable, or unignorable by lower level mod groups. 2. Fixing the Ban Syste…

I do like new HTML email notification. My suggestion would be to make a link to the topic standing out better. Bold? Different color?

I want to post a link to a discussion in hopes that one of the developers will take this on: http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/344798-just-want-to-add-tables-to-ckeditor We've got a full featured editor available in IPB....but we'd like to be able to enable some advanced features while keeping the IPB modifications. Anyone solved this yet? Anyone willing to take this on? You can see what we've done and I think that we're close. We just need some help getting over the hump. Thanks, Chris

Quick heads up, I'm not getting email notifications from this site today. I subscribe to each of my mod support topics with immediate notification, and the last couple of posts in those topics have not generated any emails to me.

There should be a live search at the top of the quick-navigation, it should be live and update as you type and would make it easy and quick to find items that match with the search term. It would make it quicker to navigate to forums.
