Quality and concistency assurance. I wish to be able to click on someones amount of contributions in order to be redirected to a filter that displays their work. That we can check up on whether you agree on changes or not. Also consider adding the possibility to approve or disapprove someones work on each language pack. A list of say "The 20 most recent updated strings would also help with this. Reservation. I think there should be some kind of reservation feature for pages. I love to support developers, however I can't buy any of the paid mods or themes in the Marketplace due to the fact that paypal doesn't accept payment from Pakistan. I can easily grab these themes or mods from warez sites or torrents, But I hate it. Therefore I am requesting, kindly sort this out. I am already an active customer of IPB and I can't figure why can't IPB just charge my credit card on files than redirecting me to paypal site... it's really uncool and unprofessional when you already have your very own credit card charge system. please consider it.

Hi IPS, (No idea if this has been asked already) Having browsed round the tinterweb last night on the look out for any websites for sale, I realised I was actually looking for any forums for sale, more importantly, ones run on IPB. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one... so, is there any scope to add a whole new section in the Marketplace to support the sale of websites/forums? Regards Jim

I'm a bit perplexed about this. Cleancut started out as a creation of Ehren's, ipbforumskins.com. It then (I assume) got bought/taken over by IPS. Which is great, I like the skin a lot. I now read in the 3.2 changelog that it's being dropped! So, what's happening with it? Is anyone picking it up, or is going to be hung out to dry, for no apparent reason? Do I now need to pay someone to update it everytime IPS update something? Would appreciate an answer so I can plan forwards for when 3.2 is released ;)

In editor is good feature - My Media. I have about 2000 members on my board but NO ONE use it! Maybe they are too lazy to try something new, but maybe it's not very intuitive and they think that feature is useless. This software needs better support for common members. 85% features they simply don't use. Or have to I write entry about every new feature? It's too hard for me, I have lot of other duties, not playing with IP.Board every day. IP.Board is good software, but common members probably don't need so lot of features. This is one big reason why I probably won't renew anymore. I don't know what I can do with them.

hello, finally ips made it easy to translate the language by adding translate tool but can we add Arabic to the list so i can start working on it and other member as will ips released official one arabic translation but it got problems fixed by sending ticket but the language file did not been updated to include the fix for others if ips can add Arabic language based on the one on the marketplace i'll be more happy to work on it to fully translate it and update it

in the acp it seems that it would flow better if when adding tags/bbcode, etc that the import section be up top along with the add and export buttons. like ADD IMPORT EXPORT right up top.

Hi, I just got a simple question, since in IPS Blog they have announced IPB 3.3 and said that "The next version of IP.Board will be 3.3.0." meaning there will be no IP.Board 3.2.4. I'd like to ask does it also go for all the addons like Nexus, Downloads, Blog and Gallery? Will there be no new versions of those aswell? Except for if any major security or if other big bugs are found. How is it?

I'd like to see the option to require real names during registration including separate first and last names and possibly birthday (like facebook). Separate fields for first and last names would allow for proper sorting ("last, first").

I think there should be an option to send immediate email notifications to a specified email address (e.g. the admin's email address) regarding any moderation actions taken, and possibly also if someone edits someone else's post/topic/content, to help raise awareness of any potentially malicious conduct. Also, I think that any mass-moved topics should be specified in detail (e.g. provide a list of links of the moved topics), rather than just in general. Finally, I think that "super mods" should have settable moderation parameters, such as whether they can hard-delete posts or not, whether they can mass-move topics or not, etc., instead of virtually every moderation option…

If you were to support real names option, could you also add generating a vcard with name and contact info (and any other info that might be appropriate for a vcard like the profile photo). This would allow other members to add another member easily to their list of contacts on their computers.

The aaaa dddd system is VERY limiting. You can basically just have it in fields that can only be in one way, and even then it's limiting. Example: Birth dates dddddd => 830113 => passes! dddddd => 830170 => passes! Whoa? That's not a correct birth date! Let's try it with regexp: /^\d{2}(0[1-9]|1[0-2])(0[1-9]|1[0-9]|2[0-9]|3[0-1])$/ I just wrote this so it might not work fully, but my point is, you can match a birth date pretty accurately with regexp. Hi! Our developer have been wondering why the API doesn't offer a method for changing members. You offer it for creating members, but not editing them. Any specific reasoning behind it? (Our developer decided eventually to create his own API "the IPB way" for editing members.)

When editing - translating the language packs I fill the fields with my translation and then have to click OK button and then click on the next page of the word phrases. I find this very ineffective and I would much prefer to have option for Save and edit next, which would combine the exiting two in one command. The Save only option could stay.

In my SEO logs I see a LOT of 302's. Eg: myforum.com/topic/xxx-topic-name/unread/ 302's to myforum.com/topic/xxx-topic-name/ As many of you know using a 302 redirect will cause search engine crawlers to treat the redirect as temporary so 301 redirects would be better for page ranking of the myforum.com/topic/xxx-topic-name/ URL. Am I mistaken here? If not, how can I manually change it so that 302's become 301's? I want the main topic URLs to have all the page rank. Will this be changed in 3.3?
