Missing Features: 1) Ability to hide birthdays / e-mails (From other people viewing) 2) Various group permissions that 3.4.8 had but were removed... I love the performance updates etc.. But Permission set are very important.

This feature is in regards to "Commerce": Currently once someone buys a gift card for someone, (including themselves) then goes into "manage purchases", every product can show a custom image (thumbnail), EXCEPT for gift cards, which are stuck with a black place-holder image! Clearly this is an oversight. In the commerce gift card settings page in the admin CP, there should be a spot to upload an image to represent purchased gift cards. Please add it.. This is the only remaining element of our store/marketplace system which still looks unfinished and unprofessional. Thanks

Would like the ability to Like Gallery images in the stream. Or at lease please put the Like button in the light box so when we click the image in the stream for full size, we can Like. We don't leave the stream, and see it full size so Liking making sense, but leaving the stream doesn't and is an annoyance just to see what is already in the stream. Thanks. PS. Would be a great feature to have in the light box anyway.

In the past there was an ability to select a category or album as a source, and then to rotate images through a selection of #X. This would then imbed into IP.Content as a block and display one random image at a time. This was a fantastic feature to allow for unique and tailored images on various IP.CONTENT pages. Is this ever going to return to the new system?

I appreciate the fact that you made it possible for us to set the Editor line spacing to 1 line vs. 2 (paragraph return), because I never liked being forced to use double spacing each time I hit the Enter/Return key. Unfortunately, there are unintended consequences that come with the new "one line" setting: - All previously made posts are now formatted and bunched together. - Spacing after the Quotes do not add a space, and are bunched together as well - The "Edited X minutes ago by xXx" now rest just below the last sentence in the topic, which bunches it together as well I hope you can fix these issues Thanks for listening

Dear IPS team, i have upgraded now from 3.4.7 -> 4.1x and the pages app is great, much more possibilities than ip.content and the acp part is very good! but please offer here a docu i find lot of things after hours of playing around - there is so much behind the big menu points where you do not anticipate that there is so much more. also the changes simple page creating is good - very good idea was the page builder i cannot use it at the moment regarding upgrade script issues but i think support will fix this soon after weekend break in total a very good way with this app!

Just a small "nit" that I found that is kinda of a "bugme" deal. It doesn't impact the running, but the graphic is not really correct for it. Most people associate search with a magnifying glass, and settings with a gear. Guess what the highlighted does.

Hello. If we ban a member for 2 hours for example, he just have a message containing the date when he will be unbanned but not the hour... The idea is to add the hour of the unban to the message, it will be more explicit. Or better : using relative time. Eventually, we can also improve the message displayed for member when we put a "moderate content" or "Restrict from posting content". What do you think ?

One of my users brought to my attention the inability to search album titles in IP.Gallery. This is problematic for a well-ordered gallery as the image titles often mimic the filenames (or the IPS-version of the image names), which are often a string of random letters and numbers. However, the album title is always appropriately named with the subject matter, and should serve as a rich source of indexing for searching. Album titles are what users remember, not the specific image name when there are many similar images grouped under the same album. Will there be sub-sections for the each product like it was for IPB 3 series? I find it current a problem to find things for a product I'm looking at and not much in information in the forums when doing a search. If it was in sub-sections like it was it be much easy to see that is where I want to go and read up on what people are saying for that product are ask for help in that area as well.

I created this topic on the 4.1 site and got a response from Lindy but never got to see any other responses because that site is not available anymore. So I thought I ask about it here again -- could you please add an option to disable embedding of topics/blog entries/gallery albums etc. (but not external media such as Twitter and YouTube)?

After doing one fresh ips4 install, one conversion from 3.4.x, and preparing a third for conversion from 3.4.x, I find I would welcome the following features in the ACP: I would rather that custom.css open by default when clicking into a theme to edit it. Global template is rarely the reason I'm into a theme to edit. (Admittedly I'm not a theme developer just a user trying to tweak defaults a bit in an upgrade-friendly way.) Or both would be fine. A one-click shortcut to recache the site (equivalent to Support → something isn't working) perhaps in the header right next to the Site link. And a hearty +11 to a previous request that block template editing…

Please, add more search sort by options. Today the only options are: date and revelancy. For my community and I guess for many others sort by replies and sort by views would be a nice feature, just like sort by in forum topics index. Notice that sort by replies or views is not the same as the search filters minimum replies or views.

Hey guys, For latest blog posts, I noticed that it only shows the title and profile image of the blogger. However, is there anyway for most recent blog posts to display a primary "featured" image, just like Worppress does? This is very important for the community I plan to build since the featured image has always been used to grab the attention of my visitors and it summarizes the blog post in a single image. Anyway to accomplish this?

Working with the advertising system in Commerce, I've noticed a few thing which I would love to see in a future version. 1. Fixed Dimensions for Ads Option. Right now I can enter a banner ad dimension but not make the dimension fixed to the exact size I want. So, if I put in the max dimension of 720x90 and they upload a 500x500 it's going to stretch that ad. Even worse, when the customer is checking out it doesn't show a preview of what the ad is going to look like stretched. I'm sure if the client saw what the image what going to look like stretched, they'd upload the correct dimensions. Having the ability to set the dimension as fixed would allow me to force …

Hello, I am not sure whether anyone has proposed similar idea before, but I would welcome if there was an integration of Nexus into the Gallery. My site has a collection of some unique photographs of architecture and they could be offer for sale to members. I can imagine many other similar applications when after looking on a gallery image one could click on 'buy' button and be transferred to nexus for the rest of the payment (where say the full res file without a copyright could be offered). Is it something that would be interesting for other clients as well?

ID #: 932260 Gallery is down and has been for 3 days (very important to my site), a little surprised there has been no ticket response for 3 days? I'm worried when I finally get a response it'll be the generic "run the support tool" which I have already done. Disabled plugins/apps, created new default skin, etc. problem still exists.
