IPS monetization options are becoming more and more complex over a wide range of physical/digital/services offers in use. What we require is an option for pricing declarations next to each price display anywhere in the community, according to the app / widget used (f.e. IP.Commerce, IP.Downloads, 3rd party Apps) We already have the option to choose different TAX classes and enter for each TAX class different TAX rates for each country or in general. In Downloads and databases, categories as-is are not implemented correctly. The category allows you to drill down to a more specific set of items, but the parent should allow you to view all sub-items. For example, selecting "Characters" in the categories for this site lets me view all items at once: https://www.gamedevmarket.net/category/3d/characters-3d/ But I can also select "Humans" to just select human characters: https://www.gamedevmarket.net/category/3d/characters-3d/humans-characters-3d/ As it is, IPB subcategories are just a way of hiding an item so it can never be found. It would be great if there was a way to have multiple social accounts so that I could promote certain content to specific social accounts. I have a few different Twitter accounts for different content: General Content News Content Off-topic Content It would be great if I when I click promote it would go to the specific social account. Options: Multiple Social Accounts Assign specific social accounts to specific forums. Adjust permissions for each social account. Standard, when I create a new saved action, it comes at the bottom of the list. I would like a feature to re-order them, so they appear in the moderation actions in that order. Plus the ability to add seperators.

The largest complaint I get from members (and a constant source of my servers getting on RBL lists) is that IPS has no way to stop all emails for followed content. I'm not sure if I'm just not seeing it, but I just started playing with the promotion and our picks features and noticed that there aren't any notifications settings around this. I was looking for: A notification when your content has been promoted by staff or something like that with where it was promoted to (within the community, facebook, twitter). A notification sent to others who are able to promote, that content has been promoted by someone ("user just promoted......"). I would love to see that the Support part of Commerce will be integrated in the Core itself. Because to me it doesn't make sense to buy a Commerce module just for the Support part. Plus...one could be in need of a Support module with only Forums / Pages / Downloads etc.

In IPS 3, there was a tool where you could use the admin web UI to bulk import files from a directory. Downloads > Tools > Bulk Import From Directory Was that removed in IPS4? If so, please bring it back, and soon. I routinely import large amounts of files. Are there alternative ways to do this in IPS 4 besides manually filling out forms?

It seems the feeds set up under ACP → System → RSS Feeds have changed with the 4.2.7 betas. They didn’t include replies before, now they do. Or am I wrong? Is that intentional? Is there a way to turn it off? If it’s intentional, I wish such changes wouldn’t be made silently. Instead there could easily be an option to have replies included and have that turned off by default in order to not change existing implementations. I have “new content” feeds set up which I also push out to RSS services like Feedly. Now the subscribers will suddenly be flooded with reply posts, which I never intended to and never advertised. And I probably can’t even change as far as I can see.

I guess the title kinda says it all here. The option in the admin CP to sync a single forum in a Club with a regular forum on the forums page could be useful. So basically new topics you start in this particular club show up on this one particular forum and visa versa. They're basically 2 windows to the same thing. This would allow certain clubs to act as "extensions" of certain forum areas, by theme in a sense. Which could in turn add an overall more "cohesive" feel between the 2 features all together, allowing them to bridge so they're not so completely independent of one another.

I hold a lot of hope for the Create + menu when I'm finally able to upgrade my site to version 4.x. I'm confident it will help many people who, for some reason, find forums structure confusing. So, I find the Create + menu a great thing. Now, I also find great that Status Updates include photos now (even when the potential to go further is still a big one). But even as they are now, I've thought I could push a Status Updates stream as an alternative menu to lure back the sort of members we've lost to Twitter. So far, so good, easy to achieve. Hi I start using Invision software since the beginning of 2006, moving from phpbb.At that moment phpbb offering a very helpful point system for attachment view/download. From my point of view a tool like this will help/force users to contribute to the board success by reducing the bandwidth consumption and also to increase the interest of the users to post on the board (not only to read and to download the content or the files). My board is completely free to use (require authentication) but the users like just to use all the features without any contribution. Hi. There is option "I will choose which content to include" in streams / widgets, but there is no option to exclude specific content (forums). So when we need to exclude 3 categories on forums which have 100 categories, we are forced to add 97 inclusion rules instead of just 3 exclusion rules. Also we should remember to add new forums once they created. It's wery non-friendly way so i hope you'll fix this. Thanks.

It would be a nice idea, if I could add users or usergroups manually and/or automatically to the event reminder function on the calendar frontend (for permitted users/mods/admins). I'd like to always inform my community (or parts of it) f.e. 1 week or 3 days before events start. Maybe this could be added on the event creation mask, if permitted users create new events.

We're building a system similar to itch.io and it's really a drag when the author uploads a zip file called "My Game.zip" but the resulting download is named something like "23498738432423_MyGame.zip_32498749824". It's really hurting us from being able to do this, because the user downloads a game and then has no idea which file it's in. I'm talking about database fields.

My request to IPS is to please re-design the system to deal with subscriptions as its own thing. It all feels put together in a make shift way. In other words. When setting the type of product, there should be a 4th option: 1. Hosting Plan 2. Advertisement 3. Normal Product 4. Subscription With this 4th option you have the possibility to create new specialised logic, for example: a. Members moving up and down subscriptions more fluidly. The steps are pretty easy to understand in ACP. Feedback: Not sure how to trigger Profile Completion bar on the front-end. I filled out all of the steps (set all to voluntary) and logged in as a regular user (who had blank profile) - did not see profile completion bar on front-end. I can't reorder the steps. Since you're making the entire step required / not required, it might be useful to just toggle from the table.
