Hi all, I'm using the API to create a topic for users but I've noticed no one is getting notifications through when people reply to the post (even though they are the topic author). So they don't know people have replied to the post unless they specifically look. Any idea how to fix this? Cheers

Hey guys, Is it possible to auto delete content from the Pages application. We have a section Offer and Demand where people can offer or ask for services etc. Most of the time after a couple of weeks / months these items are not relevant any more. So is it possible to delete content here without any interaction from moderators? If this is a setting somewhere, great! But I wouldnt mind using a plugin either, so if you know one please let me know. Best regards!

Hello, I am building my own NodeJS OAuth2 server that services authentication from IPS. However I am encountering some issues making it work. IPS constantly throws me error : "The provider is not responding as expected. Check the application settings are correct and you have registered the correct Redirect URI." I'm building a database with Pages for copies of our magazine. The smartest way of doing it seemed to me to give each edition its own category and then use the records within each category to be individual articles. My category listing currently looks like this: It's not so bad at the minute because I haven't uploaded many issues. But ... I'm currently editing issue 986! That means that in a few months there will be 986 issues in this database. Even though I'm compressing the images, I'm going to end up with a massive page, potentially in the region of 200,000 pixels in height on desktop and over 100mb in size. Ouch! Google login isn't working, it's throwing error, 'something went wrong, please try later' I am guessing they updated their name scope and IPB is falling behind... i tested on discourse it's working right. do you use Google login? any solution to it? or should we wait for an update from IPB or anything else? Hello I have a forum that I want to moderate all content on. I have it so that all posts needs approving by a moderator. But members seem to be able to edit their posts --- and the edited posts go live instantly without moderating. Is there a way for edited posts to also require approval? I may well be missing this right in front of me, but I don't seem to be able to find it! Thank you

I've been trying to do a fresh install of 4.3.6 but have experienced a problem that I hope someone can assist me with. I ran the requirement checker prior to installation and got a green tick for everything. Installation went fine and I got to the final page which gave links to the suite and admin. However, when I try either of these links, I get "An error occurred (500 error)" page. The admin error page also says "Call to a member function language() on null" I checked the database, re-uploaded all the files, used the recovery mode file (constants.php) and tried a separate test install - all of which resulted in the same …

Hi all, hopefully a quick-fix. We're running nginx + php-fpm. No matter how much time has passed, or if a user has posted, the Editor is retaining the last post that it saved through the auto-recover feature. How is this fixed so that it's only saved until posted, or until a certain time limit has passed? Cheers!

Hello, On our IP Board install I've currently deployed a translation pack for french. When I check what's translated I find the names of the days, the months, etc. But on the front page the dates like "Friday at 7:18 PM" stay in english, it seems that only things like "Yesterday/Today at" or "19 march 2018" are translated. In admin panel I've seen a locale setting, but on our host there isn't any for fr_FR, and our provider doesn't want to install them, citing system concerns. How can I force the display in french for all the dates ?

Hi Since changing from HTTP to HTTPS uploads on slow connections (mobile devices) are failing with the usual -200 error. The uploads are small images of only 2-3 MB. (forum limit 5MB) When the forum was set to HTTP all image uploads never failed even on the slowest of connections they would complete, HTTPS does seem slightly slower. Is there any thing I need to adjust either to speed up uploads or to stop them failing, I have the usual php setting set that I have always used without an issue. upload_max_filesize = 50M max_execution_time = 340 memory_limit = 512M max_input_time = 340 post_max_size = 100M

Turning tags off for Guests I want to prevent Bots using the tags system totally. Does the tag system exist in the sitemap and can it be turned off totally for guests so i can prevent it being spidered (even though indexing is turned off) thanks
