Hi there, I noticed in our test environment that in contrast to all other settings in our conf_global.php file the setting for sql_utf8mb4 hast to be without tick mark. So this is wrong: $INFO['sql_utf8mb4'] = 'true'; It should be: $INFO['sql_utf8mb4'] = true; If using the first entry with the tick marks in place the Support tool within ACP states an error, that the DB is not configured correctly: Since our DB is configured using utf8mb4_unicode_ci I found that the conf_global setting isn't interpreted if set with ticks... We just moved one of our sites over to S3. We are an image heavy community. I want to know what are the normal recommendations that you have set for max attachment size + image pixel size? Do you recommend your users to use different services like Flickr, YouTube, etc. and just embed? Thank You!

Hello, I want to know if the upgrade to 4.4.2 not only does automatic skin checks (and mentions the incompatible ones) before the upgrade but also shows incompatible hooks and plugins? If not what happens when you upgrade your board and the incompatible extensions give troubles and or errors? Does the automatic upgrader switch off those extensions or not?

Is there any IPS Cloud Guru's out there or anyone that knows how me (cloud package) can use the group name formating to make the name be animated? i know there is a way to do this by uploading to FTP but, i don't know about that, and i am pretty sure us cloud users cant do that so a way to do it in acp or file i can buy would be awesome thanks in advance

After upgrading to 4.4.2 you might notice that you see less entries or missing parts of entries (like images) in certain areas like Pages feed blocks. This affects stock blocks, but also third-party products. In my case for example SuperBlocks, SuperTopics, SuperList … The change here is that certain queries are now limited to one year, so older content that was shown before might be missing now. IPS made these changes to reduce problems on larger boards. The issue was reported and there might be improvements in the future. I've had the Unread Content set according to this for as long as I've had the forum running: As you can see, after upgrading to 4.4.2 it is no longer displaying anything even though there are new replies to view on the forum. I'm not sure why this is the case because it worked perfectly fine right up to version 4.3.6 when set this way. Any idea why this might be or does this need to be raised with official support as a bug?

While testing our community on my Galaxy S7 yesterday, I noticed a potential navigation issue for users within clubs. If you open a club on a device with a phone-size screen, the Overview tab displays, and there is a 'down arrow' (circled in red in the screen shot) to show the drop-down of other club tabs. The functionality is working as expected. However, the black 'down arrow' is barely visible against the dark grey background beneath the banner photo. Many users will not see this, and may become frustrated. Questions: 1) Is this a bug/mistake (should the down arrow be white, for example)? 2) If not, which is my guess, is there a theme color set…

Greetings, I am attempting to upgrade my 3.4.7 forum to 4.4.1 on a test server to make sure everything goes smoothly before I do this on the live server. And before I actually do the migration, I have a ton of other work that needs to be done (hence, setting up a test server). However, the upgrader is failing, and it's unclear if Invision will help me with the problem. I've been told that they don't normally support "test" environments, but there's absolutely no way in hell I'm going to upgrade my live forum until I can do a complete upgrade on the test server without errors. I'm trying to get an approval queue count on the userbar. Part of this involves the following code: $approvalQueueCount = \IPS\Content\Search\Query::init()->setHiddenFilter( \IPS\Content\Search\Query::HIDDEN_UNAPPROVED )->count(); As I understand it, this should return the number of as-yet unapproved content items and comments. For some reason which I cannot make sense of, this consistently returns a number 2 higher than what's actually in the queue. I went hunting for phantom unapproved content. I really don't know the technical terms for asking this question, so sorry if this is unclear. In previous versions of the software, there was clickable text at the bottom left of a thread's page which had the forum's title in the text for returning to the forum index (Ex: "Return to XYZ Forum"). Now it says "Go To Topic Listing". Similarly, to go on to the next unread thread in the forum, the text on the bottom right of the page would be the title of the thread (Ex: "Puppies Are Cute!"). Now it's "Next Unread Topic". Can this be changed locally or not? If yes, how? TIA.

Updated my board to v4.4.2 this morning and received complaints that the display of all posts on desktop devices has problems with the display of the text. Here's an example: This image has the text constrained to the left column under the profile information, while other posts in the same topic will be a single letter wide and scrolling down the page. Mobil display seems to be OK, but any wider displays (like desktops or iPads) have the mangled text. I have a ticket in for this, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. I have unedited standard theme with no modifications, and I've tried all the usual browser cache and cookies clearing, etc.

I've used the search on here in a variety of ways to see if I can find anything about aligning tags - I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone have any idea how to align tags so they look uniform and tidy in the forums? This is what mine look like now and it looks ugly: If they all aligned to the right using the furthest one as the guide it would be great. Either that or have the tags just before the title with some spacing to keep it neat and tidy. Any ideas? Anyone? With thanks

Hello, Today i have setup IPB with cloudflare. after adding the name servers, i see that homepage has been messed up. its not coming as expected. when i pause the domain under cloudflare, then homepage is working fine is there any settings in cloudflare should i disable/enable in order for my IPB board to work properly
