Had a member account inadvertently deleted. All the blogs were lost, all the posts in the forum area remain and are orphaned to a guest member. I have found within the PHPAdmin the topic locations and can modify that location to assign the post to the newly created/reinstated account. However in the forum view the topic is still identified as orphaned until you click on the specific topic itself and are viewing the content. Once the edit is done the topic itself is linked to the new account as well. How can I do this in an easy way, or quickly? How can I get the forum view to correctly presented the topic as posted by the new user account?

Hey, I want to hide the IP address of my server in the mail header for security and DDOS protection reasons. I tried an SMTP but the server is the sender, so the IP of the server is visible on the header of the mail. The IP is visible with mail() and SMTP too. I found this trick to use a second IP but I would prefer not to see an ip in the header so that we can not identify my host, and it is preferable that I use an external solution if it's possible (in the event of an server ip blacklist, my host will close my vps). Is it possible to hide this IP or use another external method ? I am not really experienced in vps configuration, all I learned is…

hello. i wish to disable the "REQUIRED" field in the support ticket for the difualt text field that cannot be touched. i want the users to send a support ticket based on "custum fields and not on the main "REQUIRED" text location on the buttom of the new supprt ticket. thank you.

I have an issue with a user who says everytime he goes to the forum, it won't let him login. So he resets the password through email, and then logs in. But process repeats the next time he visits the site. I can see all the failed login attempts and then reset password in ACP. I suspected his cookies were keeping an old password saved, but he is adamant that's not the case. Anyway didn't think much more of it, but I've now got another person saying the same thing. Any ideas or suggestions I can give them?

Hello. I switched servers last night, so I am assuming it's because of that, but users can't embed social media anymore. I tried embedding a Tweet and an IG post, but when clicking Submit, the page just reloads. If I take the social media embed out of the post, it will post the text. It seems it has to deal with embedding. Any idea why this is happening?

So i'm using Invision community 4.4.10 on the cloud, and am running into a couple issues that i just cannot seem to grasp properly.. *Disclaimer : I don't usually do this kind of work so am jumping in head first and learning as i go 😉 * So biggest issue that i can't seem to understand : Custom field posting on a license. Hi, I have a forum that's about 13 years old and has plenty of content on it There's a really strange issue with it though If you click into an older thread that has many pages to it, the pages don't initially load unless you refresh the page (at which point the page and content appears) If you click the pagination to go to the next page it doesn't appear, but if you click refresh it all loads and appears. If you click back or next page the same thing happens. If you go forward a page it doesn't load until you refresh. After it's loaded (after refreshing) if you click back a page then forward a page it disappears again unless you refresh the page …

We're trying to send a bulk email. We have an issue on iOS's Mail app where a margin on the <body> is being added (it seems to ignore all <style> tags). However, I cannot seem to inline the styles because the bulk email editor strips it, even when I try to escape it. I realize that it says "Mail Body" but I'm using the "No Wrapper" setting so I'd expect it to allow me to post in a whole HTML email, not just the body's content. When I check the database for previous emails, I see that they have !DOCTYPE and other things like that (not sure how those worked) so I know it's somehow possible. Update: Turns out Google Auto Ads, adds advertisements into Cache in your browser. Even after you turn them off, they are still there until clear your cache... Moderators can remove this post if preferred. Used the Advertisement from the admin panel, and added a Google Adsense above the footer. Except now it also adding it below the header? Any idea on how to fix as it is really messing up my site.
