Hi, I would like to display some custom icons (available payments) in my community footer but only when the Commerce app is displayed. Which variable should I test in global/footer to do that, please? Something like {{if ( $app ) == 'nexus'}} or should I try to find '/store/' in {expression="request.url()"}? (and I don't know how to do that too, by the way). 😕

I lost two tables, ibf_downloads_fileviews and ibf_profile_portal_views from an old 3.x installation. My host has an idiotic backup method and has nothing to offer. I'd like to recreate those tables. Has anyone got the schema definitions for those two they can share with me?

Hi, I'm slowly getting to grips with Pages and Databases. I'm trying to create a database to showcase my Canva templates. Canva has an oEmbed framework or a div block embed code export to work with. I've created a database and have a text block for writing about the template, an image upload (which I probably don't need), and an url field to also copy in the url to the template. I have my categories sorted and displaying on the page, and I can add records just fine. What I would like is a block on each page which displays the oEmbed code link for each template. I want to put the Canva template into a block so I can keep the layout consistent for ea…

Looking at the Viglink documentation on Sovrn, I can see that they provide examples for HTML, Javascript and Java API. I can't figure out where in the Invision Admin CP I can add this code to make it work again. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm having some problems upgrading my forum to the newest version (4.7.7). I've done everything under "Manual upgrade" part in the Guide. After updating PHP 7.4.x -> 8.1.8, copying all files successfully from the package downloaded in the "Client Area" and then proceeding on the "/admin/upgrade", I'm having this communicate for files under "/applications/blog/*" and "/applications/gallery/*" -> "If you are sure the files have been uploaded correctly, make sure the permissions are set correctly on them." (other requirements are green), but I only have subscription for the "Forums" package, however I've seen that in my older installation there were fold…

Hello, Last night, I upgraded the forums to the latest version, and now I have to approve posts that have no restrictions, either on the forum or on the person themselves. Even Moderator posts need approval. Has anyone else had this same issue on the upgrade? Thanks, BB

I've been getting internal server errors for the last few months whenever the site gets busy normally. The server isn't overloaded but this is the error in logs 2023/01/10 21:20:49 [alert] 127868#127868: *28491671 socket() failed (24: Too many open files) while connecting to upstream My hosts don't seem to know and have increased the open files limit to a high amount but it still happening and now just pointing me in your direction to ask how you handle traffic as I've got 167 children spawning which may be causing too many open files? But this was happening at 1am in the morning when the site wasn't busy. Any ideas?

Hi, Im looking to purchase & set up a self hosted Forum. Im running the self hosted compatibility checker & have a error : Your PHP memory limit is too low. It needs to be set to 128M or more. My Hosting people added a PHP.ini file to my server root : safe_mode = off; max_execution_time = 100; max_input_time = 120; allow_url_fopen = On; memory_limit = 512M; post_max_size = 512M; upload_max_filesize = 512M; max_input_vars = 3000M; but im still displaying the same error on the ips4 page : https://www.hardscore.com/RDBforum/ips4.php It would be great if someone could advise what could be the problem. Hi, My website is behinds Load balancer. Currently SSL is installed on all web-servers. We tried to install SSL on LB but it didn't work. We install SSL certificate on LB and removed certificate from webservers. it was throwing error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS. Then we changed Base URL (in conf_global.php) https:// to http:// Now website is loading over https but without images and css/js as this is taking http path from conf_global. How can we install SSL on LB and where to change path for images/css/js ? FYI, We have 3 webservers, 1 File Server and 2 Database servers.

Hi all, I'm trying to move a website that has been sold to be, it has Invision Board running (license in the previous owner still). I'm getting this error: "We're sorry, but a temporary technical error has occurred which means we cannot display this site right now." I'm trying to enable debug to see the cause of the error. I've done \define( 'IN_DEV', TRUE ); In constants.php but it did not change anything. How can I enable debug mode so that I can see the error? Thanks Alex

Hi fellow invisioneers. Is there any way or setting I have missed that allow select groups to bypass new version approval in downloads? I can only find a setting in download category settings but that turn on/off approval for all groups.
