Is it possible to automatically include content with Tags in a search? Is this a setting I missed somewhere? Users are confused that searching for a Tag does not find the tags, because Tag search is an "Advanced" search option. For instance, if I search "Dragon", content tagged Dragon does not come up. I have to go to the "more search options" then "search by tag" and then "dragon" there to get content tagged "dragon" to show up. Is there an easier way to do this?

TL;DR: How to best give one month of subscription to a referrer and referred and then cancel it if they don't renew? *My head is kind of all over the place so if something isn't properly explained, please ask and I will elaborate. Good day everyone, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on what would be the "best way" to share articles with stock analysis on my forum. I have not launched it yet because I need to make some important decisions is sharing a weekly video analysis I do about certain american stocks. Hello, I'm making this thread in hope that someone is knowledgeable enough on this software to help me out. IPS has two product types, regular products, and subscription packages. There's a huge issue though, at least with what I'm experiencing. I can setup prices quite nicely with products, but the problem is I can't add a "lifetime" option. With subscriptions, you can add a lifetime option, but the pricing functionality is completely scuffed. Why am I only able to setup a initial price and renewal price? On my current product, I have options for a day, week, month, and "100 years" since there is no lifetime option, which looks absolutely ridiculous and out of place. It'…

I was notified by PayPal that there are some changes coming effective March 11, 2021 I use the downloads app and pay my contributors exactly in the same way that IPS does here for the marketplace it’s very convenient to pay contributors their commission using PayPal through the admin control panel Is this no longer going to work after March 11? So far, the only threads I can find about this are old and weren't answered, so I'm hoping this is an option available now. Is there a way to delete PMs from member accounts through the ACP? We have a certain amount of banned members and don't want to store the files for all their old PMs.

Could someone help me figure out how I can go about exporting existing records from a database in pages from one site and import those records to the same database at the new site? I really don't want to re-create each record manually.. which I have done before and it totally sucks and takes a ton of time. Seems like there must be a way. I exported the database from site1 and imported database.xml to site2 which doesn't include records but includes everything those records should need (I believe). I just don't know how to get the records over. Thanks in advance for any guidance

Hi, We’ve set up an article database using a custom field for a preamble and for a short text display on the front page. Now, we’d like the RSS export to include this custom database field instead of the standard Content field. Any idea on how to accomplish this? I’ve been searching the templates for RSS export but have not yet found anything. I realize RSS export from multiple databases may need an identical custom field name on all databases. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I want to make a few design changes to the products page. IPS is very poor managing payments and the fronted template and the way to show the products leaves much to be desired. I guess that with the help of some specific plugins and custom design, that could be remediated. I would love to have something similar to udemy courses. Hi everyone, So I have IPS connected to my subdomain. My main domain has a Crisp chatbox for users. I'm trying to get that chatbox into my subdomain, but not quite sure how. I've tried pasting the HTML code into the <head> of the globaltemplate, but it's not working - no chatbox populates. Has anyone been able to do this? There's no direct integration through Crisp to connect to Invision. I'm copying the Crisp code straight from their website settings module and pasting it after <head> and before </head> below the following code: Should I be doing this differently? Hello, Is there a way to ''force'' display of HD emoticons on desktop instead of the regular low-res ones? On desktop, they appear somewhat blurry. Hi all, I am after any advice, suggestions or examples you have implemented please... I have a new forum that I need to vet/assess new account registrations to ensure they are allowed on... however, I have no way of personally doing this, only the existing members will be able to confirm. So I can see there is a 'Referrals System' and an 'Invite System' applications which are options, however pose some issues in terms of the invite process as they require email addresses. The Referrals System is the more flexible of the two for my needs. My only other thought is to allow anyone to register and put them into an 'unverified' group with restricted posting…

Hello, We have a moderator group with the permission “View Reports” turned on, however, that group still receives an error when attempting to review any reports (Can’t be accessed by their account.) and they do not have the report icon in the userbar. Does this permission require other permissions to be turned on in order to work? First time in 3 years we’ve had this issue.

My site wants to offer a process for club owners to use to select the members for their clubs. It's a play-by-post roleplaying game site, and for us, clubs are actually games. So we're creating a template process by which the game owner advertises their prospective game with relevant information and solicits applications to join. We'd like to offer a standard application form that the prospective player can fill out and submit to the game owner, who can then decide which applicants to accept. I am trying to transition from wordpress to IPS, but i am really missing the formating options and block styles available on Wordpress. Is there any plug-in that allows blog posts to use blocks similar to the Gutenberg/Elementor blocks used on Wordpress, or any similar solutions that would add the same functionality? EDIT: it seems like elementor can be intergrated with mostly everything, and that developers are encouraged to do so. Has anyone in here tried to work with it?
