I use Amazon SES for my SMTP mail service. It works great, but they require that we “have a plan” for bounced emails and complaints. Does IPS track which emails bounce? What options do I, the admin, have to handle those bounces? If something hard bounces, can I have the system automatically unsubscribe them?

Hello, I am getting a little frustrated as this is my 4th attempt at getting our forum set up with HTTPS. I submitted a couple of tickets last week through the help section in the Admin CP of our forum, but have not gotten a response (though it says support will respond within 24 hours). Then I followed up with an email earlier this week to support@invisionpower.com, and again, no response. We are Community in the Cloud customers and would like to request SSL/HTTPS be enabled for our community. Can somebody please contact me about this? Thank you, Jennifer

I havem just installed CMS at my website. And added Pages to website. Do I understand correct that this is the best way to publish articles at my website? Because I am confused as I see here, at this website so called "Our picks" and it looks like typical pages with content. Anyway I have Pages installed. I see that comments are allowed: Bui in fact, there isn't option to comment when user goes to the article. But when signed in as Administrator then it is allowed to comment. So how to allow all user comment articles? Thank you for your help!

I am not sure how I can edit articles created by other users in a database (Pages). I am administrator. Administrators are allowed to to perform any action on database. Container inherits the permission of the database. Administrators have Unrestricted permissions in ACP->Moderators. I cannot see the link Edit below the article unless I set in ACP I am the owner for the field Author. I need a permission to edit any article on the frontend (not ACP) without changing the author. And ideally a possibility to give this permission to another user group. How do I configure it?

I have a lot of legacy postings in a number of specialist boards that would probably do a lot better as clubs. I don't see any current method of being able to import/move that content into a club. Are there plans afoot to enable Invision to do this?

Hello, I'm using colors for a few different groups and they display perfectly on mobile. My problem is that they don't come through on desktop anywhere besides the online list. Is there something I've missed that would allow the user names to show different colors in regular posting activity? They're all black currently.

In 4.x it's only possible to append new tags at the end of the list. Not a good solution for a list that is sorted.. (In 3.x the list was editable) Would be nice to be able to insert, delete and edit tagnames (correcting typing errors etc.) And let members add tags to existing topics, inclusive those started by others. (We had 60k topics when the tag system was introduced) Anyone aware of an add-on that can do this?

Hi, I have created a new database, that has no categories, stores records in database directly and should show records like articles on the database index. Now I would like to use a custom template for articles listing view and not sure if it is possible. In ACP I go to Templates and click on New, then select add database template. I would like a custom template for Category Articles (a red arrow). But there is no such template type in the dropdown list for the template type (red question mark). What template should I add in this case? I have tried Category List and Record Listing, both had no effect on my database index view. Or is it not possible t…

On our previous software there was an emoticon screen and when clicking "more", there would be a seperate little popup screen where we could click emoticons or smilies. This way it was easier to choose several emoticons to place in a post. Is there a possibility to do this with Invision too? But now it's click the emoticon, select emoticon and window closes, you have again to click the emoticon to choose another smilie/emoticon.

There are settings for global user notification settings (i.e. email, notifications, disabled) and I can set it so that, by default, users automatically follow content they start or comment on, but I don't see where I can globally set how often users are notified via email of replies, even though this is a setting at the user level (see screenshot). Is there some way to set the default for all users to the one selected below, rather than a notification after each new post? Thanks in advance for any help!

How I can make this forum default? Does forum has handle where I am? I mean if i am on homepage, Everywhere makes sense. If I am in category how by default i can restrict it to that category or forum? Wouldn't it make search more faster? Ex - if I am in Google search - I get all. If i am in "News" tab - i get all the News.

Hi, my provider just installed redis on my server. But I'm not really sure what settings are recommended. And what values are necessary. Right now I use the file system as the data storage method. I guess it should be Redis now? Caching Method: Redis? Redis server address, port number and server password? And what happens if I set wrong values, can I lose all attachments or other files? How long is the process in moving the files to the database, will it be server intensive? Thanks.

For instance, I would like to color links to our Subscriber packages in the store (We do not use the Subscriptions module, but actual Packages because of discounts for longer periods). Is there a way to add an HTML class to these links so that they can be individually colored? I know that they have a data-role:"productlink" type.
