Hi, It will be nice to have option to replace badge. I mean we have badge for 1 month, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years and 15 years on forum, but it will be nice when highest one will replace lower badges. The same with 1k, 5k, 10k, 20k, 30k posts on forum. It is nice to have more then 3 levels, but not showing it all on badges. It can show it all, but after clicking on that badge (then show previous one levels for example). This option have Trophies and Medals, but we prefer to use build-in IPS option.

I don't know if this is since upgrading to 4.6.x, but I noticed that when you mouse over a member name to bring up their hovercards the button labels are truncated, like so: So perhaps the card should be a bit wider....or the text a bit smaller?

While I'm working on my test site, I wanted to take the opportunity to say that I really, really like what you folks at Invision have done with the Support page in the adminCP. You've really changed things up and made things very accessible and put a lot of useful server information in plain view (including System and Error Logs, which I may rarely remember to check otherwise!). And the Clear Cache button is finally here! Well done, and keep up the good work! 👍

On my test site I sell Black, Green, and Special Blue Widgets. If I purchase 8 Black, 3 Green, and 1 Special Blue Widget, I receive 13 emails - 1 for the Payment Pending notification (since I'm testing with Bank Transfer) and 12 separate emails for each individual product purchased! Now I realise that this is "a feature and not a bug," since the Custom Emails stipulates that "The emails defined here will be sent for each purchase, so if a customer purchases more than one of this product, they will receive more than one email." But unless I'm missing some configuration option, IMHO it doesn't look incredibly professional to flood someone's email inbox with so much r…

I've been testing out the club feature and seeing how it handles forums. I'm glad it shows the forums in the normal index, however I'm disappointed in the 0 control in the order of them. I'm not even sure how it's ordering them. Having some way to just re-order them in some way. However, the main feature I really want is to just show each club's forum as a sub-forum under their club's name. Example below. I think it would be much more clean and organized looking rather than just having a huge list of redundant forum names. EDIT: I've also noticed creating a club sets you as the owner forever, even after removing yourself and setting someone else…

Firstly, having used IPS in the past with the standard mainstream payment gateways, I just want to say thanks for creating such a great, seamless experience for users when paying. Unfortunately, I am sure there are a fair few of us who run sites deemed too high-risk by the likes of PayPal and Stripe (and it is far more than just hardcore adult sites that fall into this category). I realise this may be a long-shot, but I just wanted to throw out there a request for integration with a 'high-risk' payment processor, such as CCBIll (or any other processor that accepts a wider range of sites). I am aware there is currently a third party plugin for $500 for part…

There shouldn't be quote button in last post. Quote last post in topic uselessness. But lot of user use that. Why should post be copied twice? If all posts would be quoted, whole database would be almost two times bigger.

We'd like to empower moderators to restrict private messaging as a consequence, yet still allow content to be posted/moderated in public areas of the site. Right now, a moderated member needs moderator approval before their public content is displayed, however these members can still use private messaging if it's otherwise enabled for their user groups. That's not always a right fit. What we'd like is a new consequence option when issuing a warning that would allow us to select whether or not private messaging is enabled for that individual without having to grant access to the admin cp. We don't want to grant access to moderators to access the entire member record, …

Hi, Now the push notifications are here (V4.6.X+), I think it makes sense to add the possibility of user's subscription to a flow : you create your own (or use a preset) flow and you can subscribe to the flow as to any content of the community (push/e-mail/notification center). So you'll be notified of any new content in your flow in the way you want/prefer. For administrators & moderators it could be useful from a monitoring point of view, but for the users it could be more close of what they're now used to (social networks flows) so more "user friendly" considering nowadays usual content management.

The search engine Baidu doesn't accept the sitemaps generated by IPB. Would be great if all major webmaster tools would be fully supported since sitemaps are kinda important.

Another possibility regarding badges awarding are the badges the users can own while they keep on certain amount per time. For example a user posts more than 30 posts / week : owns a "keep on" badge that could be named : "active contributor" (or something like that). So if the user goes under the 30 posts / week he looses the badge until he goes to that rate (or more)... That could promote participation in a more permanent way. Regarding milestones and points on that kind of rules I don't know if it can be useful. Milestones could be set on something like "owns that badge since 1 month" (so based on time) ; points make sense only if there are milestones (fr…

There is a good Idea I got from another post to improve achievements system : allow a milestoned rule to be repeatable. What does it mean ? Let's do it through an example : Consider you've a standard (current system) milestoned rule giving points and a badge to a user creating 20 topics. The user will get points and badge once the milestone is reached an it is over. It is a good behavior from my point of view. But if you want to award users every 20 created topics, you'll need to create a rule for the 40th topic, the 60th topic and so on... Now let's consider a "repeatable" rule : If you take the same rule and "check the repeatable checkbox in the…

First off, thank you adding this new Rulers feature under Achievements. Very, very cool and fits well with the trend towards gamification I see happening all over. I can see this potentially giving forums a little better chance in fighting social media platforms for users with stuff like this. This said, I'd love to see some options to affect user groups, both positive and negative or otherwise tapping into existing forum features, which I suppose is a sort of blending of your new Rules feature and the Automatic Moderation or tapping into other stuff like promotions, warnings, etc. Example... Positive: If user passes xx reputation and / or receives x badge,…

At the moment, it's configured to just 1 colour for all user groups that have their posts highlighted. This can get a little messy and hard to distinguish in communities where multiple different groups have this enabled.

When we paste URLs in the editor, some of them are automatically handled as a link, for example: https://www.google.com/ But it does not work if the domain is IDN, e.g.: https://xn--90adahrqfmec.xn--p1ai/ The expected behavior is conversion to link like this: https://гемоглобин.рф But it simply does not work here, even though there is a clear indication of the HTTPS protocol.

I have people wanting to create more detailed Icons and Rank Badges. The problem is that they are so small you can't see any detail on the images. I think it would be nice to be able to view a larger image via lightbox from the users profile/badge page.

Hi. I propose to consider adding an additional option in the group settings that will allow adding attachments to the PM but only with certain extensions. For example, I would like to allow adding attachments to the PM for the "X" group, but only with the jpg, png, bmp extensions.

This doesn't look good on a mobile device, especially as someone doesn't have rounded avatars. What do you think?

In the support dashboard I see Ads listed as Third party, why is this? It is Content no different than a Pages Database? Especially if ads are just an image and a link what would make it need to be called out - I can see if you had HTML code? perhaps that will have issue perhaps with JS?

Why are invisioncommunity devs so blind for webp? It's not like it requires any other extra work, since the compression of webp is already existant by nature. Simply allowing webp by default shouldn't be the biggest deal, or is it? It's already widely accepted by all major browsers, so there's no excuse on that anymore, especially not since you dropped IE support yourselfs. But still, every request and any conversation about webp have either been put down, or ignored. Could we please get an explanation why you're so anti-fast-web? I'm honestly wondering why is that. I'm also wondering if the spacer.png image load implementation is still best p…

Hi, I would like suggest add widget slider with ability to display topics randomly. Or there already discussed and implemented similar solution? I have some many posts inside a forum, I would like place a widget that display topics randomly each time user open that forum, so all posts with posibility and potencial to be display and get attention.

It seems like if you quote a post with a spoiler in it you can get unwanted behavior. If you open the spoiler before expanding the quote it is fine. If you expand the quote and then try to open the spoiler, it overflows the quote box. This happens on the 4.5 default theme. I have replicated it on a live site as well as a local testing site. EDIT: I have found the potential source of the problem. Normally a truncated quote has a set height of 168px. <div class="ipsQuote_contents ipsClearfix ipsTruncate" data-ipstruncate="true" data-ipstruncate-type="hide" data-ipstruncate-size="7 lines" data-ipstruncate…

I hope not. If it has you'd be surprised how popular it is to set your own personal message below your username, instead of whatever the forum decides. It needs to stay.
