I like this feature, and I believe IPS won't leave it without upgrades. It very nice to see members are happy receiving those ranks and badges, yet what about staff members. Staff members need to receive some special badges. How about adding some new rules for them, Examples: When a..... Marking a report as complete. Approval Queue Marking their posts as Solution in selected Forums/Clubs/Pages Flag a member as spammer Warn a user Reported a content Etc... It would be great, especially for the communities that their staff members are doing all that voluntarily.

Gallery Last Updated 1002 Days Ago, 2 Years 9 Months Unless I am wrong, the gallery was last revamped on 29 January 2018 - that's 1002 days ago, or 2 years and 9 months ago. Yes, there have been fixes and patches, but nothing new and no suggestions implemented, etc. I feel odd paying to renew my license and having to pay for this app. It's almost as if IPS has taken this app for granted and has forgotten about it. IPS itself doesn't even use on on their own community forum - out of site and out of mind. . .a bowl of not too good. 😐

I understand that there is currently no way to block a guest IP address from viewing forums, which feels out of step with the ability to block registered members who then see nothing of the forum content, so here's a request to add functionality to block guest access by IP address.

Once upon a time, you threw a SEO improvements article at us. It specificaly claimed, that it fixes this SEO specific issues related to duplicate pages due to the GET parameter usage. However there's either more that's missing, or you've re-introduces new issues along the way. Yandex has been screaming at us for quite some time, that there are duplicate pages based on GET tags. Yandex is specificaly pointing at sortby and tab to be the main issue: /?sortby=date /?tab=comments The appropriate solution (according to Yandex): Yandex asks for Clean-Param Directive if the site page URLs contain GET parameters (such as session IDs, user IDs…

For admin who has ability to view IP addresses it would be nice on the list of online users if there were the following: If IP address matches existing user some indication ( possibly XYZ user ) If IP address matches known bots indicate guest is a bot. Display country of origin flag, and add text to country. Ability to hide all bots.

Allow anonymous content is a great new feature, but it has an issue. Whenever you enable it, it will allow ALL selected groups who have permission to use this option. The issue in here if you want one or more of the groups not to be allowed to use it on a specific forum, club, database etc...., so it must have more option whenever you enable it to pick group/groups that you wish to have access to this option not just a group permission in the group settings. Perhaps something like in the theme settings whenever you enable "Allow anonymous content ", it will show you only the groups who have access to this option. Moreover, in this option only …

Some, hopefully easy to implement blog suggestions: Select existing blogs and assign them a new category. I would think that would be pretty straight forward to do. I mean, I can feature, move, hide, etc. Why can't I set a category for selected blogs? Feature Blog Image. Before we had categories back, I was using the feature image to visually categorize. That means the same image gets uploaded dozens of times. It sure would be a great quality of life thing to set one per category as a default. It would be a nice speed improvement too to cache a handful of images instead of all of them being unique. Being able to set Feature image on multiple blogs at o…

Adding this would allow hyper targeted emails to user segments on the site. This would certainly reduce "junk" mail flagging by increasing open and click through rates.

Sometimes I feel like poor little Pages gets no love, the built in Wiki feature is worth its weight in gold. To be able to stand up databases and leverage our members to create/modify those pages....is a HUGE feature. Lets try to flesh out the recognition of our member when they add in information. Right now we can assign points and achievements for creating records, but generally, if I am standing up a huge database....I want to have control over the initial record creation. Why? Well lets take video games, its very easy to go grab a list of every Nintendo Entertainment System game ever released in the USA. However, if I let USERS create those records, generall…

Hi, suggestion is quite simple, when you visit main index page of the gallery where you see latest images right below categories - please add a LOAD MORE button so more image can be continuously loaded. Simple thing but was requested by many long-time users of my board.

Hello, why are group promotion rules only being executed when a targeted user visits the forum again? For example: I have a rule for new people beeing moved to a different group after three days. But this rule is only beeing executed if a user visited the forum again. Then this special user will be moved to the next group. But if a user visits the forum no more again or only after 10 days he stays in this "three days" group. This is not perfect in the case I want to target this three-days audience. Could ips please move this promotion process to any cron job?

Hi everyone. Recentyl I have subscriptions option for my forum and after first request I have realised that an option for “ member temporary expire time” will be a big plus for Forum. It will be very handy If in the member block “ groups” edit will be a feature allows you to put member in to temporary group for certain time (date, day, month etc)?

We flagged a user as a spammer shortly after he registered, based on his first-post content. The user and content have been hidden as is expected, but the user still shows in this block: This detracts from the purpose of the block because it can (and will) fill up with spammers during an attack.

With the current set up of the Moderator creation, within the ACP, there is only an allowance under the "Content" section to allow the Moderator group/member to 'view reports', which allows for the member/group to be able to see Reported Posts, globally. This is not ideal when one wants to create a member/group of Moderators to be able to moderate in specific sub-forums and to have their input heard only on posts that are being reported within their moderated sub-forum. There should be a choice within the "Forums" section, "Can View Reported Content" that would allow for a hierarchical reported posting listing. If this was so, they would not be able to view globally repor…

Hi, It will be nice to have option to replace badge. I mean we have badge for 1 month, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years and 15 years on forum, but it will be nice when highest one will replace lower badges. The same with 1k, 5k, 10k, 20k, 30k posts on forum. It is nice to have more then 3 levels, but not showing it all on badges. It can show it all, but after clicking on that badge (then show previous one levels for example). This option have Trophies and Medals, but we prefer to use build-in IPS option.

I don't know if this is since upgrading to 4.6.x, but I noticed that when you mouse over a member name to bring up their hovercards the button labels are truncated, like so: So perhaps the card should be a bit wider....or the text a bit smaller?

While I'm working on my test site, I wanted to take the opportunity to say that I really, really like what you folks at Invision have done with the Support page in the adminCP. You've really changed things up and made things very accessible and put a lot of useful server information in plain view (including System and Error Logs, which I may rarely remember to check otherwise!). And the Clear Cache button is finally here! Well done, and keep up the good work! 👍

On my test site I sell Black, Green, and Special Blue Widgets. If I purchase 8 Black, 3 Green, and 1 Special Blue Widget, I receive 13 emails - 1 for the Payment Pending notification (since I'm testing with Bank Transfer) and 12 separate emails for each individual product purchased! Now I realise that this is "a feature and not a bug," since the Custom Emails stipulates that "The emails defined here will be sent for each purchase, so if a customer purchases more than one of this product, they will receive more than one email." But unless I'm missing some configuration option, IMHO it doesn't look incredibly professional to flood someone's email inbox with so much r…
