I really need someone to look into this, as attention has been nothing but poor. Please look at ticket 739128, where we schedule our conversion for the 28th, and explain the conversion objectives in full. I would like to suggest that you add functionality to pop-up a lightbox with a "Registration" or "Sign-In" screen whenever a guest tries to access something that requires a user to be logged in. Rather than showing the error message screen, pop-up this registration lightbox so you get more members to join your website. Some people think the error message screen means that the website has an error and they may leave the website. Example: - Click on link that requires user to be logged in (Chat, etc.) - Pop-up registration lightbox that says: "Oops, you must be signed-in to do that. How about you register now? It's Free!" Hi, The current system seems way to complicated, it either has the be a .xml pack to upload a group at a time or individual .png which takes a while given how many smilies you have. I think it should be simplified to where you upload them as a .png group and edit their 'activators'(:hi: etc.) from there.

I've been trying to change the <title> tag on my pages to remove the Board name, but I can't see a way to do this without altering files. Could this little tweak make it in to the 3.2 series? It would be a huge SEO help for just a small tweak. A few months back I submitted the following ticket: I got the following reply: I think you should consider changing how this is implemented, so it's less confusing for newer members. Couldn't you for example flag questions for removal when they're removed from the form and if that's set you could delete the question entirely upon saving. I mean, you already know that the removed questions shouldn't be displayed in topics (example, try voting in this poll: http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/348457-poll-testing/ ) so it shouldn't be that hard to delete the question if it isn't displayed?

Hi, I'm getting quite annoyed about how the sorting of members seems to be the same type as other searches, it shouldn't in my honest opinion. When I search for TSP in "Members"-section for example I basicly get these on the top 3. Why? I have no idea. Do you search their signatures and other fields aswell? That doesn't really help a lot when you're not telling me what it's matching anyway, so I don't see the advantages with that... I would like an option to allow inline notifications when someone votes up (+ rep) a post. It would be important that the +rep notifications clump themselves up so you do not get 50 notifications for the same post; it should instead say "50 people liked your post". The writer gets a good feeling, and it creates a positive feedback, which in turn creates more + voting behaviour. Note I am using the rep system with positive only enabled (I disabled negative rep via ACP).

Would it be possible to allow members to only unlike a post within a certain time frame of liking it. For instance. Member A likes member Bs post Member B gets mad at member A and goes through unliking all his post to damage Member A's reputation. Maybe make it so a member can only unlike a post if it is within 5 mins of liking it. This would prevent abuse of the unlikeing. If not i'm going to have to disable unliking it all together.

Just wanted to say a quick "thank you" to the developers behind IP.Board and associated applications. Coming from VBulletin 3.8 and not wanting more of the same from VB 4, I'm glad I made the switch. It's refreshing to see an updated forum software that's not the same old traditional "blocky" forum with traditional forum terminology. I think the modern look coupled with easy integration of other products and hooks as well as the social network integration makes it a great product that can help bridge the gap between social networking and discussion forums. it is a small issue , but can save time of submitting support tickets usually we use tab to move between the entry fields instead of selecting by mouse After choosing the department General support , when i press tab i move to the message area, and skip the package it will be better to change that to move to the package combo first then the message i know it is a small thing, but i think nice to be considered

I have to be honest, after using it for a few weeks now I am really not liking the new 3.2 software. The HTML posting box is awful, posts come out nothing like they are intended. Not displaying the thread starter name in its own column on the forum index is unhelpful, but I assume was created with this forum in mind, rather than smaller communities where users look out for threads from certain individuals. Not being able to go to message inbox when clicking the message icon is also getting a lot of complaints. I appear to be alone in thinking the upgrade is a backwards step, from what was previously a good community forum platform?

Its a Waste of time if we delete 1 by 1 members from ACP>Members>Manage Members<. Also if we deleting members from page 3 or 4 from the list. so it will redirect us on manage members page#1. Not on that page from where we deleted last member. This is a minor thing, and probably won't be implemented, but I wanted to put it out there. Each bbcode has this "Where can the BBCode be used?" setting where you can define the different editors that bbcode works in. My suggestion is to swap this setting to be a list of editors to exclude rather than which ones to include. What most often happens when this setting gets touched is that people want to restrict a certain bbcode from being used in a certain section. For example, most folks don't want media being parsed in the Shoutbox. Can notifications of same topic can be clubbed to one? Instead of giving 10 notifications of each reply, why not say " blah blah topic has been updated" or something similar? Sometimes I get 20 notifications of same topic. It's more like spam notifications now. If this feature, already exist, please tell me from where to enable it as default for all users. Thanks

That feature disappear? That was pretty useful for those not paying attention to all forums to see if they're updated. Also I thought it was said that 3.2 had ajax fast reply, but any reply I've done has gone through a new page load. Not sure if it's a setting or I was mistaken that it had it or what.

Hi! I am a customer of IBR (ibresource.ru). I am paying for IP.Board for several years... Now, i want to transfer my license to IPS. And my friends told me that its possible. But what will happen to my Plugins and Hooks that i also bought via IBR? There are several plugins for more than 100 dollars. I don`t want to buy them once again. The current system for permissions and usergroups is a complete mess. It is extremely confusing and I don't really understand why these settings are separated to begin with. Please consider merging the permission and usergroup setting areas!

Wouldn't it be nice to include a user's list of forum posts to the "My Media" button for easy reference to questions that they've answered before? Seems like a natural fit for the purpose of the "My Media" button.
