Minor but. When you view full list and sort there is no ascending/descending and when you view members Z comes first and you can't change the order. Should be available for members and activity, thanks.

My community is for the citizens of the city I live in. Small City:) A large part of its function is crime and safety. The various neighborhood watch teams us it. This scenario may help explain what I'm after. Say I see something suspicious at a house down the street and I'd like to contact the owner and ask if everything is okay. I don't know their phone number but I know the address. I'd like to be able to search the profiles EASILY, for an addresses. A field for a phone number needs to be added as well.

With display options it would be really good if you could save and reload rather than save and close, cos you have to edit, check how it looks etc and it is a pain have to keep opening a field,especially when you have a few.

In 3.4.7, you could use following template tag to include an external file, such as external header: {parse include="../somefile.php"} How is this done in 4.0? I read this article about Template Tags, but it doesn't mention anything about including files.

Hello, First i'm very impressed by the new 4.1 ips suite.I want to migrate my xenforo board but i can't really the reasons are below. 1. All avatars are gone after upgrading to 4. 2. Redirect links are not working they are only working without seo links. 3. Some bbcodes such as quoting don't look nice and some are still from xenforo. I really hope the issues above will fixed with the launch of 4.1 so i can look forward. Regards

Over each post there "Posted xx minutes or hours ago". Besides this information is embedded link - function that performs relocation of the post after a mouse click at the top of the browser screen. This is a useful feature but why is selected description "Share this comment"? I think that is correct "Move top post".

Just a thought here, it would be nice to see a theme selector that displays a image screenshot of the theme. When we create the theme we could add a screenshot that would show in the selector... Maybe something like the gallery horizontal image widget but with theme screenshots instead of gallery images Regards

I dont know if this has been mentioned before ( I could not find ) but seems in IPS4 gallery picture embedding is changed. I want to make sure I understand it...We can now buy the individual apps separately such as IP chat and use them as standalones can't we on Version 4? I have a new project/idea and IP Chat has mostly been reliable for us so i'd like to use it for the new project but I want to make sure it is possible that we can use apps on a standalone basis without needing the forum anymore? I think we can but it never hurts to verify. Also if we can...how does it work exactly when it comes time to do member management such as banning users and applying admin/moderator roles? Is there still an ACP if you just buy IP chat?

In Nexus, it would be good to have an option on packages to "Ask for address" or not for none physical packages. We have a subscription package, which we don't need the users address for, a simple add to basket and checkout using Paypal is all that is needed. Since we have added merchandise, where we do require an address to ship products, the subscription package now requires an address for users to input despite been marked as none physical. This is a deterrent for members who just want a fast, easy and private transaction.

I've been testing this for last few days to make sure it's some kind of bug. Normally I visit this site once a day after work which means I should have more or less 24 hours of unread topics/posts. If I simply go "All activity" the list is correct. It goes back roughly 24 hours. If I go Activity>My activity streams>Unread content the list goes back only few hours (3, 4, or 5 depending on a day). For last few days I did NOT visit this site between last evening and this evening. Something is wrong somewhere.

I dread every support interaction with your company, it's like a Laurel and Hardy episode. Last week you lost some data from our cloud based forum when your SQL system went down. The response was "that's the most recent backup we had, sorry for the inconvenience". You post a blog announcement about how great your cloud product is and have comments turned off. I wonder why? You have no phone support for paying customers. This results in back and forth emails for days or weeks for critical support issues that could be resolved in one 5-minute phone call. I've noticed in version 4 that the deletion queue didn't exist anymore. Is this likely to be added back in at some point. im not a fan of having things delete instantly and thought this was a novel idea as I was able to set it to 30 days and periodically check the items my mods were deleting before they we gone for good

With the reluctance to make topic links go to the first unread post or even a admin setting which some users would absolutely love you for, may I request on behalf of the fat thumbed forum users we get some padding for the dot to take us there like 4.0 had. I've barely used the Unread Content page on here as it's still really slow to load, but taking a look today and trying to use it is so frustrating. If you miss the dot and hit the title, swipe back the page reloads and the topic disappears leaving you pretty much screwed trying to find where you were up to. As you can see from the screenshot of my forum, I've got large topics which would be a nightmar…

Is it possible to add back the page numbers under "All Activity", at the top and bottom of the page, as it was in "View New Content" ? I find myself wanting to see the content back a few pages if I haven't been on site for a couple of days, thus it eliminates the need to start at page 1 scroll down and click and click to see older pages, and then start over if I happen to click "All Activity".

I archived a load of posts, later unarchived them to edit the threads and move a few around...didn't realise I wouldn't be able to archive them again. I'm looking to rearchive them again if possible to decrease the post table and hopefully speed things up a bit, now I know there is no reset archive button so I'm looking at a SQL query, I can see in forums_topics I have topic_archive_status 3 Would the below query reset the archive status so I can go again? like I say I know this isn't supported and I would take a backup first, I've looked in the post table but not seeing any archive status, am I missing anything else? Why isn't there a Start new topic button at the top inside each forum when on android mobile? That's why we're here isn't it, to start new topics inside the forum? It seems counter-intuitive to have only one button to Start a new topic in ONLY the forums index page. Especially when we have so much wasted space in a bar to tell us how many topics, an icon for rows, a prev, and next link above the 25 or whatever most recent topics in that forum. Is there a plan to fix the design of the basic IPS theme so it can be more functional for those who want to post a topic in a forum via android mobile?

Hello, Please show a nicely sized "record image" in the: Listing Template - currently does not show record image. A record image can be used to quickly distinguish between records when all the text is fairly similar, like a directory of names. I personally think an avatar-sized icon would be perfect. Is there a way to make the page title for the homepage / default app just be the website name? Eg. "Invision Power Services" instead of "Forum - Invision Power Services". I can't work out how to achieve this, so I'm thinking it's not possible? I think it should definitely be an option, as this is a pretty standard page title convention across the web.
