I'm sorry America, but not all the world follows the American Date format, I hate that this continually gets forced on us countries who do not use this Date format. I don't mind if the software gives an "easy" option to change date format to Day, Month and Year (for example). I understand that this is a 'Locale' setting and should be in the Language Defines, but seriously couldn't you have made it it any harder than you have to change this format? Why didn't you use the standard PHP convention for Times and Dates? Hi, is there a way to send out invoices automatically by mail? At least in Germany I have to send the disclaimer and the terms by mail to a customer. I've put the required legal texts in the additional fields of the invoice. But I don't see how I can send the invoice automatically by mail. It would be great to have that option, or offer similar fields on the order confirmation, which is automatically sent. Best regards Hans-Joachim

I've been researching this for some time and have to believe I'm not the first one to ask/look for it. My community has a set list of about 150 groups that never change. People are only a part of one of these groups so it would be a dropdown list. When they select that option, I'd like it to automatically assign them to a group which I could then grant permissions to view the various forums for that group. TIA for any help!

So I'm creating a Club (Space) for a group called the Complex Processes Research Group. Well and good; I can create blogs, forums, etc. etc. However, the only option we have for externally linking to these resources is the standard (and, may I say, ugly) URLs to generic blogs and forums, e.g. https://www.liquidfractal.org/blogs/blog/54-blog/ The option to create custom FURLs to change it to something like, for example, https://www.liquidfractal.org/blogs/CPRG-events-and-info-blog would be a far superior choice for so many reasons (Google being one of them!). Why can't I make a block, using embed or with the editor either in the Admin CP or on the front page that looks like a system block so I have the choice of making it fit in? example, if I use the editor to make a block, why not have an option for a block title that fits in with the rest of the blocks?

For the past three weeks I've been playing with the core of ipb and xenforo 2. As for me the advantages of ipb are the following: Excellent default theme and very userfriendly. More social than xenforo2 Xenforo2, default theme horrible. Core of the forum a bomb. But as far as performance is concerned, it seems that ipb requires three times more resources than xenforo2. It performs a larger number of queries, requires 30% more memory, and processing times are an average 0.6 against 0.1 of xenforo2 per page. I think ipb should be redesigned from scratch. Just 2, that are related: the table on the DB already has a column for specifying the rating a reaction will reward, cant understand why you cant set a custom value on the create/edit form along with that, make reactions have group/member permissions, so we could limit higher reputation reactions to admins or moderators only

Default record image would be cool. Would really help with formatting the output when someone doesn't have one to upload (or on your phone), or the ability to select from say an Album or Category in the Gallery instead of uploading one.

Ok, I suspect this would not be exactly trivial.... curious as to what people think it would cost to develop. Being able to add a field that was a Gallery Feed, and the user can select an image from it as a en entry to a field on a Database. Does that make sense?

When you use say, a Select box. It has a bold title. When you use a Checkbox it has only the checkbox with a question beside it. The record image is in a grey box. Would it make sense for something like the check box to have a title and a question? This way each field would be separated in the same way. Though this may be fantasy land... the ability to group them with headers would be amazing......

It would be great to change the label on all Fields associated with a database. Especially running into this on the Record Image. I can change it for Title & Content, but not Record Image. It would be great to make them all relevant to the context of the Database. JM

They have created this really great block layout system, and then ... sort of take away control of the layout. For example, the Store. Why isn't the store just a page with a bunch of commerce blocks? Instead we have this great block layout system and a totally inflexible store. Featured products should be on top (or rather, wherever you want it) it should just be a block I can make many versions of to suit a product category or another part of the site. New products should be a block and make different versions of again, to suite the area of the site. The embed feature is just weird for a single product elsewhere in the site. The output is rather …

I believe I have been patient enough to wait for a solution but almost a week has passed since I opened the ticket ( ID # #1009168 ) and 4 days has passed since it was escalated to Tier III Support, without a single reply. I have asked for an update for a few times, PM'ed IPS Management but no update. I feel I had no option but open a public topic like this. The problem I am having is also mentioned on topic below

As far as I know this is currently not possible, however it should be. Especially when I add more images to an already existing entry in, for example, the Downloads app, there seems to be no way to sort them the way I want it. All images show up in a random order (Sorted by file names? By the date the image was created? By the colors of the image?) So, will it be possible to to change the order of images in Gallery/Downloads/etc. in 4.3?

I am curious, when you embed a single product... the top of the embed says "A product in our store" and below it the the product section. Why not put the title of the product at the top? If you embed multiple products they will differentiate themselves. "A product in our store" is odd, even if you change the phrasing it will repeat.
