It would be very nice aesthetically if I could have the option to embed (or allow my users to embed) their attachment documents (especially PDF's). I am fine with having a developer create this but they cannot because attachments (other than images) have their file name changed so that the file type extension is not at the end of the file. This makes it impossible to embed the document.

Could we get these attachments (or maybe attachment file types specified by admin) changed to have their file type at the end of the file name?
