I'm doing a deep dive into Attachments this morning, and I'm discovering quite a few attachments that are taking up unnecessary space that are no longer available because the primary content item (eg. PM) is deleted. I'd like to request the ability to identify attachments that have no location. I can't imagine how many abandoned attachments are floating around in my community.

Maybe I am the only one who wants this, but I recently moved all my IP Downloads to a separate server. This way no matter how hard that server gets hit, the forums will not suffer. The only issue is now when that server is down, no one can download So what I would like to do is bring up a secondary server that would be continuously mirror syncing the first server, and it would be nice if IP Downloads could fail itself over to the second server when the first is unreachable. I know someone will probably point out that I can do this with some premium DNS voodo, but I am trying to save money 😛

I've just logged in to my account to change my card details. For obvious reasons, I had to answer a security question. This is the sort of thing I only have to do every few years, so the answer won't imprint on me. Like many people, I've become rather inconsistent with regards to respecting case. My answer, with an initial capital letter, since I was typing a town name, was initially rejected and so I tried it again in lowercase. The second time was the charm. Code in posts should have a codemirror syntax like in editor. When code is saved and embed in the post, the syntax is other and have a minor bugs, like brackets, dots, commas, etc.

Recently (about 2 months ago) finally upgraded to the 4.3 series (from 4.1). One of the most anticipated features for our site was clubs. Now that it's been live for 2 months and have been receiving feedback from members. Hey, I tried using the club feature but i abandoned it right after. I have an issue tracking any topics or news posted in clubs, mainly because i am not a fan of the activity stream and i rarely use it to be honest. I am using the fluid view of forums. It would be nice having some kind of integration of club forums into the fluid view for forums. Greetings

An annoyance of IP Gallery that my members bring up, is when they upload multiple images, that they have to go image by image to chop off the .jpg or .png. It seems as though this is an unnecessary step for them, and some of my members are uploading 10-80 images at a time. Is there a reason why we just don't stop at the file name?

I would like a "Block-Me" feature like the Ignore but in reverse a web forum I post to has gained some trolls who stalk and harass people with valued contributions to the point that the good posters quit posting if people could block a troll from viewing their posts with No option to view - the trolls would run out of ammo to ruin the forum that would be one way a forum could self police the posters without compromising the content I know it would work, Is it possible at this point to enable a Block-Me feature targeted at one person in the forum I post mostly to, Blocking My posts from about 30 - 50 people would be a great start (likely just 2 or 3 people) it…

Some users upload massive images (~5MB) for their blog / blog entry "feature photos" and it makes the page that shows recent blog activity clunky and slow to load. I prevent users from attaching more than 5MB in a single forum post (or blog post), and that same limitation seems to apply to the feature photos. I have my community set to 5MB per post because that's reasonable if they're attaching 10 or 20 images... but letting them add 5MB feature photos is an unwanted side effect. Therefore, I wish I could have a custom image size requirement and/or specify custom compression settings for feature photos, rather than having it share the same settings as other…

It would be helpful if the Store's category/section would embed. For example if I am selling tickets to an event and multiple sections within those tickets it would be nice just to embed the section. Not a big deal, but maybe something to consider. JM

Hi, Quick one: We should be able to filter tickets via custom fields. Add "Custom Fields Contain" below this line. Equivalent of WHERE `r_cfields` LIKE '%searchquery%' I figure if we have custom fields available for support requests, it would only make sense to be able to search by them as well. Bonus would be searching by Purchase custom fields where a ticket has an associated purchase, but I figure that'd be more resource intensive. Thanks!

Regarding old licences..... A couple of questions Is it correct that renewals are now compulsory for any purchases (if you want to use V4.x) or if you wish to not renew and therefore not use them you must purchase them again if you change your mind? What about old community suite renewals? How do they work? What about premium support - if this is not renewed is this lost for ever and has to be repurchased?

Idea time! Wouldn't it be great if a Commerce Package could exist in more than one Package Group? In database speak, have a packages' p_group be an array, instead of a constant. Like this: p_group='{"1","2"}', and in the ACP, call it "Groups" instead of "Group", and it be a multi-select instead of a single select. This way, you could have a store where products that pertain to more than one package group can be listed in each group without having to be separate, distinct, listings of the same product. It'd be better for sales tracking and SEO this way too. If a package absolutely must belong to only a single group, then perhaps some sort of function…

Hi, If is possible, can you add for CK Editor import a custom.css stylesheet or change a iframe to dropdown menu without iframe? Problem is here, CKEditor imports to the iframe only editor css without theme css. Of course this is not problem if you don't need change the colors in ACP, because is editable only in editor.css.

This feedback is based upon 4.3 Gallery. 1. Close button when uploading images. Notice the overlapping X's 2. When creating albums > Submissions > Anyone can submit to this album. This isn't clear. I would like to propose a new feature: the ability to reorder the announcements in the sidebar. At the moment, the announcements are listed in reverse order of when they were created (oldest to newest), but there are times when a newly created announcement is temporally more relevant and should be highlighted. Hi, Here's an idea for Support Requests. Similar to how Pages allows you to insert tags into a page like {block=""}, {pageurl=""}, and Emails have {$email} plus other app-specific tags, I think it'd be great if Commerce adopted a similar system for Support Requests for pulling in basic customer information. e.g. Stock Action: This would add a bit of personalization to stock actions, while keeping workflow at the same pace as not including any personalization. If the member doesn't have customer information, simply display nothing. Thanks!

Is there any chance this can be sorted? If you set commerce to use 3 currencies, and then only enter price in one currency, the others show 0.00 This might not seem like a big deal, but this core issue carries over to the new Classifieds app. A seller enters a value in UKP, and when a potential buyer views in USD, for example, it shows as 0.00 or just a blank space. Of course without a tie in to XE.com or the like, the admin would have to manually add currency conversions, but surely this is better than a potential buyer seeing no price or 0.00 Anyone? Surely a manual conversion wouldn't be hard to write????

Hi, We've recently converted from IPB 3.4.9 to 4.x.x, so I'm posting things I find that were in the old version and I feel should be in the new version, but aren't. The item for today has to do with Suppot Departments. With 3.4.9, when editing a department, you could specify a "notify address" (dpt_notify in the database). Any requests created in the department would notify this address, even if it wasn't registered to an account on the site, or even if it was outside of your domain. Is there a sensible way to associate a product with a club? By this I mean people outside the club could not buy it. Couldn't possibly make a membership group for each club, say if there were a lot of clubs. Maybe it's as "simple" as a permission system that allowed you to see club products in a club section on the store. That way if you were part of multiple clubs you would see multple products from all the clubs you were part of. This might also translate to events.
