Following on from my earlier post: Another suggestion I have is to add an option in the commission rules to allow us to set a date range related to when the referral was made. So, for example, you could set something like: Only allow commission if the referral as made less than 6 months ago.

I'd like to be able to set up various RSS feeds into my forum and have them filtered according to various criteria into different sub- forums. So one would set up an RSS feed from, say, the BBC News website and then channel items with the word "consumer" into one forum, "banks" + "corruption" or "fraud" into another sub- forum – et cetera. I'm sure you get the idea. I don't think there's any way of doing this at the moment. It would be a great feature – or would somebody like to produce an application/plug-in – I'd happily pay for this.

Is there a way to combine the features of the ipb suite to allow members to purchase tickets for an event at a given date/time? Seating is not required but we would like to be able to offer different ticket types say adult/kids and offer date change or no cost full refund in the event of a weather cancellation. Also the ability to limit numbers.

Some versions ago, Events stream showed events side by side and that was a good solution for a fast / condensed view of the events in a month, as you can see here : But in recent versions, they appear one below the other, in a kind of distended banner unreadable in my opinion. It also generates a lot of lost space in the page ... and you can not see more than 1 1/2 event without scrolling whereas before we had an overview at a single glance .... What do you think ? Would not it be better to be able to choose between the two displays?

I'd like a stream that shows Unread content across the forum, except for clubs that I have not joined. This way I can see the content I want to read, and not have content from undesirable clubs show up in the stream. Currently there's no way to do this.

If somebody asks me how a word is pronounced, I'd much rather attach an MP3 than try to explain with text. But if I do this, the file doesn't embed. Instead we're obliged to click on the attachment to open it. Imagine if images were handled the same way! Surely this is something that should be implemented automatically? If you attach a sound file, a player embeds within the body of the post so that you can click play to hear it.

I, for one, would deeply appreciate it if all third-party app updates were automatically detected and listed in the AdminCP. As it stands, because some (e.g. @Adriano Faria's Quizzes) do not automatically detect, it's a bit of a pain to go to the Manage Purchases page and check each one manually to make absolutely sure you haven't missed any updates. In an ideal world this should also apply to plugins, but I don't believe it does.

Theme color is now set in the Icons & Logos page which is fine if you are running one theme. If you run multiple themes with different colour options, you have to manually edit the includeMeta template. Would make more sense if the theme color was set within the themes options.

The key is this: "no tification__new_comme nt" and the phrase is this: "{! # [?:%s commented on]}%s", I ask you if it would not be better to have a sentence that indicates if more a user responds to the comment. I would insert it like this: "%s {! # [1: commented] [?: commented]} on %s Please note that in many languages there is a single and a plural.

This confirmation step in the site upgrading is really not okay to say that your themes are incompatible, Just because the theme templates are modified it does not mean that they are incompatible. Whenever IPS releases a new update I get a bunch of messages from clients saying like"Hey, i want to update my site but IPS says that your theme is incompatible" This "incompatible themes" is really wrong to be used here. Could this sentence be improved any how?

We are looking for a way to pull a list of people added to the site but have never accessed their account or logged in. We've been told there isn't a report that would give us this information but we did notice that when we log into particular user's accounts, there is an indication on it that says "Never Logged In" (see attached screenshare) so it seems to already be tracking that. I'd like to submit a request for an upgrade to have the "Never Logged in" added as a radio button on the bulk mail options of "Members Last Visited" (see attached screenshare). Would make sending out a follow up reminder to members a whole lot easier for us. Thanks! …

Just updated to 4.4.1 and I'm not able to get the "Member" field type to display correctly on topics, even on the default theme. Displays fine on profiles: It doesn't matter if I choose default or custom styling, it displays the html.

A suggestion that the ping times for the system to ping google ref sitemap updates is cut from 24 hours to a more frequent interval - say 2 hours for a busy site? or make it a variable rather than the current hardcoded 86400 seconds google it appears doesn't currently recommend any period for pinging - seems the ideal is to ping when content updated https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/submit-URLs

I'm starting to implement the referrals system into my site and off the bat I have a few suggestions for improvement. The first is that there is no way for referrers to see where exactly they are getting the credit from or how they are performing. For example they should be able to see how many referrals they have. Also statistics as to where their credit has come from (Sale of this item, sale of that item). In other words, a nice dashboard with graphs and statistics. A second suggestion is to add the ability for automatic payouts of credit. Instead of users having to manually withdraw their credit from time to time. It would be nice if you could set interv…

It would be extremely useful if we had a forum type that allowed users to upvote a topic, and the topics were displayed by votes. I have one forum with 80 pages of feature requests and it is impossible to figure out what the community as a whole wants. A sorted feature requests forum would help us figure out what to prioritize in product development.

Currently, it is only possible to override the default theme per forum, and per page. It is not possible to do so in a download category, or in a calendar. Please add this option. This would also tie in with my other suggestion about clan categories, of course. See that here: (PS.: no more suggestions for a while, sorry for the several posts)

Currently, if I'd like to place some widgets in let's say the forum app, it will be displayed in all of the forum app. What I'd like to do is to for example show a widget that relates to the forum about cars, and in another one that relates to sports, another appropriate widget. As far as I can tell there is no good way to do this. The problem also extends to other apps, such as downloads, clubs and calendars. Would be great to be able to have a tickbox on widgets that controls which type it is (app-wide, or just local for the category/subform etc).

I love the pluralization feature in IPS. It's easy to work with and does the job very well. There is one area that it doesn't currently capture owing to the fact that English doesn't make a visible distinction for whether a person is part of a group or not outside of the pronouns. If pronouns aren't used because the names themselves are presented, then English is easy and the system works. This isn't the case for other languages, however. I'm asking that version 5 have as much support for both desktop and mobile PWAs. The lack of native apps for my website is a real impediment to user growth and PWA technology will probably be fully supported on all platforms by the time version 5 ships.
