For your community, you could potentially show both members and militia groups on the map (with different colors of pins). It would be an interesting use case. More broadly speaking: - Location services are powerful. They can be used to activate community members for offline meetups, and there's strong evidence to show in-person connections are always more powerful than digital connections. I see a lot of potential for clubs and events. - Location services are unnecessary. One of the primary benefits of an online community is that it provides a digital gathering ground where users anywhere can join as long as you share the same interest.
