Is there a way to disable others from leaving a message on another members feed? I want members to be able to change their status AND allow others to comment on that status, but I don't want members to be able to post directly onto another members feed. I think that there is confusion and they think that they are sending a PM when in reality are posting to their feed and that post is being displayed on the main page because I have the widget enabled.

Protect Group from Flag as Spammer?

Is there an option to protect a Group from the Flag as Spammer option? Rather than simply hiding content, I want to set the Flag as Spammer tool to delete all content. However, to guard against irreversible mistakes I'd like an option within each Group's settings to 'protect' that group from having the tool used on them. An alternative option would be to have a setting whereby the tool can only be used if a member has less than X posts. Is this possible?

I've got a user who is getting an email for "new content from your followed items for the past week", but within that user's notifications all email options are set to off. Does anyone have any suggestions for why, and how I can make them stop?

After doing a test it appears our 'guests' are receiving notifications still. Any way to control that? Few questions: - Any way to control or disable guest notifications? - Does guest get a full copy of the post or just a link to it? I received a link but I had an email forwarded to me that was a full post and I'm not totally sure if they were an active member when that was sent or not. - If a member was following (via email notification option) a forum area that they had paid extra to get access too. Not sure what the issue is but I received the following error during the upgrade - otherwise things seem to have gone smoothly. We'll see just how well although no other errors. Pretty impressed how quick and seamless it was... at least during the upgrade. I am not sure if this is a bug or something wrong with my site, so thought I would ask here before submitting it as a bug. If you go to edit profile and look at the Birthday setting, I have no option to edit the month and if I try to edit the day or year, I get an error does anybody else have this, or is it specific to my site? I have tried on all skins & it is also the same if I try to edit it in the ACP

Started happening overnight on 4.1.5. Noticed the update notification for 4.1.5.1 which resolves email issues, but problem persists. I get the following error: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known Thoughts? Resolved - DNS issue.

Hello, I have two forums, one of them worked the upgrader fine however other one it's just skipping FTP Options? It will not allow me to enter them, are there anywhere i can change them or add them? Also, after trying to run the upgrader 5 times in a row (it failed, but last time it actually went through without FTP)

I was looking through the settings and also in the market place. But did not see any sort of item that would allow this. maybe I am over looking it or not. Is there something I can do for my forums to add a ban button to members profiles? Then have it set to a certain group to be able to ban? I know in the admin panel there is a way to ban but I want to set a ban button up for head mods to be able to click a button to ban on profiles. So they don't need to see the ips, and email addresses. While not allowing other mod groups to see this. Thanks for your time.

Is there a format for the csv file? What can you do? Can you put them in to a member group? Set their pw? How exactly does this work? Is it possible to set a standard pw and force them to reset it when they log in? I have to make over 2000 and I don't want to email them individually to send their PW. Any suggestions? Thanks JM

The text editor never used to automatically hyphenate words but now with the current update (v.4.1.5) it is hyphenating words and even splitting member names up with hyphen. Is there some way to set the editor to NOT hyphenate any words?

Hi there, when trying to click the next page on a thread, whether it's from page 1 to page 2, clicking "next" etc, it just shows the "Loading" text at the bottom and never loads the actual page. This is obviously a huge issue because it limits the user to reading only one page. Our upgrade to IPB4.1(from Xenforo to IPB3.4.8 to IPB4.1.4) finds everyone from me(and several of the staff) being banned with an error message. Saying you have been banned from this community. I looked in the ACP and absolutely none of us are banned. Then we find ourselves unable to edit profile and it is just a mess. Any clue why everyone is being autobanned randomly.

I was going to upgrade my test site to Suite 4.1.5.1. from 4.1.4.1 and I get an error. I'd like to know where the chatroom filter is at? For some reason "LOL" or "lol" is being filtered out to *** which I can't find on my system. Where is this filter at? It's not in my current profanity filter.
